"Ive been playing since I could walk. I can handle my self." He said, running straight at Hector. He slid around him, sprinted to the hoop and dunked it.

 

"Alright then. This game better be fun. I don't want to watch a snooze enducing game like mine was. I did some dribbles and a dunk, and suddenly I'm the greatest player in the school. I swear, everything in the world bores the crap out of me. Oh well, at least the season's gonna start soon. Gives me some entertainment," Antonio thought.

 

Hector let Alex get to the hoop then Hector grabed the ball, shoot from acrosed the room and made it. Hector sighed and said is that all you got Alex?"

 

Alice whined as the teacher was talking about the terrible life we would have if we didn't have periods in our life. Someone, please kill me, Alice groaned pulling her textbook over her head trying to block out the sound and noise. She was happy about a few things though. She heard earlier that Xia was going to be her roommate as she got accepted by the dean to come to the school and her brother works here now so that means he's not getting involved with gangs as much anymore! The bad news is that if she doesn't go to all of her classes and pass her counselor's "evaluation" on her work, she was going to be expelled!

"Ms. Alice! Will you at least try to pay attention to what is going on at the least?!" Her teacher scowled down at her seeing that she was trying to hide under her text book. Alice sat up holding the book to her head before she laughed nervously, "I was trying to sleep to see if the information will soak in my brain?" "Whatever, just please do the sentence on the board," The teacher said pointing to the long sentence on the board that needed to edited that everyone else was doing at their own desks. Alice just sighed as she wrote the sentence as she looked out of the door window, catching a small glimpse of Xia as she seemed to walk by.

Anthony was walking through the lunch area as he was carrying six 4-inch binders in his arms that were filled to the brim with paper. I'm going to have to murder that counselor for giving me all of his dirty work, Anthony thought to himself annoyed as he was walking by a few of the tables.

He was looking to the side to make sure that no students were in his way when he saw the blonde girl from the dorms last night, eating a plate of rice with beef and broccoli. Anthony looked at her now realizing that he didn't ask her name, but he was brought back to reality when he saw Frances walking over to her and was saying something about her stealing her spot. "Damn, I can never get away from the psychopath," Anthony grumbled as he made his way over to the girls, hoping that he doesn't have to get in a fight with Frances while carrying these damn heavy binders.

 

"This is boring!" Antonio shouted. "I might as well join in and make a one-handed half-court shot while turned backwards!" Antonio shouted. The game was boring and it was wasting his time. He wanted a good game, but all he was getting was simple tactics and moves. None of it was special to him.

Alex laughed when the ball missed by about two feet, and he happened to be right there to grab it. While Hector ran at him, Alex had a firm grip on the ball. He ran towards the hoop and shot. "Thats Six, Three, My favor."

 

Hector made another basket and yawned "Come on Alex at lest try to make a basket."

Frances saw Anthony and said "well, well, mister "Dead man walking".

Xia walked in the class that Alice was in and asked the taecher to talk to Alice. "fine," the teacher said "But hurry up." then Xia walked over to Alice and said "did you hear the news, I am your new room mate."

 

"Oh screw this!" Antonio shouted. "You're all no fun! Let me show you how it's done!" Antonio shouted. He stole the ball after it was shot. No one saw when he got up or even ran. He didn't like boring games like this. He wants to stop it up. "Listen, if you guys are gonna taunt each other, do it somewhere else. Let me face you guys 2 on one."

"Look kid. You want something impressive? Go stand infront of the hoop." He did as Alex asked, looking bored as ever. Alex ran straight at him, dribbling the whole way. He jumped right infront of Antonio, definently not able to dunk. Instead, Alex jumped on Antonio's head, dunking and knocking Antonio over at the same time. "We'd like to finish now. Im winning Six to Five." He said smiling.

 

"Actualy ther is no score"Hector as he rushed the ball and ran to the hoop and dunking so hard that little cracks apeared in the backbord. "By the way its you two on me now." then he looked at Alex and said "You are going to need Antonios help." the Jocks couered even more.

 

"-_- I meant two on one against me. 'facepalm' When I charge in, I want a challenge. Not any of this, 'oh I dunked.' 'oh I made a 3-pointer.' It's about beating the odds. I swear. Though I'm a new team member, I'm thinking I might as well be the leader if all you guys do is taunt and show off," Antonio explained.

"Okay, look. Do you really think we should go to Nine PM? Im not giving up, Im just saying. What are we playing to?" He said, shooting from the three point line. "It is now, Nine to Seven, my fav." He turned to Antonio. "Look. Stop janking up our game. Basketball isnt about crazy moves, its about showing off. Its also about getting a victory."

 

Hector said "TIME OUT!" then the jocks realived them selfs. Hector walked up to Antonio and said "Let me show you what this team is about." and with that he grabed the ball ran to the hoop and Dunked so hard that huge splinters apeared in the back board and the rim broke off. Hector looking at the rim said "We are going to need a new hoop." then he turned to Alex and said "By the way you made the team."

 

"......You...are...the...dumbest...person...I....have....ever...met..." Antonio slowly said to Alex. "You have no idea what Basketball is all about do you? Antonio asked. He took the ball from the two and went to the half court line and sat down, facing the other side of the court. "You need focus and brains to play basketball." Antonio threw the ball backwards with one hand and made a swish. "If you think that's skill, you're wrong."

"Thanks man. If you excuse me, I need to go make sure my nose isnt broken." He said, walking through the hallway.

 

Hector sat next to Antonio and said "Your right but I am the basket ball team leader. and I am thinking of makeing some adjustments to the team and I need your help."

"Don't walk away from me bitch." frances said when kim walked away.

 

Antonio put his arm on his leg and spoke.

"What do you need MY help for? All I did was say the truth and make a half-court shot. Nothing special. I do it all the time," Antonio said. "Besides, I barely joined the team. I'm not important. And besides, everything is happening way too fast ans sudden."

"More like the world's on some kind of speed crack!"

 

"and that is just it," Hector said "I need you to be in charge of recruts. now granted I will be the over all distion but other than that you are you are in charge of the team recrutments." then he walked to the hoop that he had just destroyed. "We realy do need a new hoop before next seson though." he said with a smile.

 

"....The schoolkids here are fucked up," Antonio said to himself. "Honestly. Just by speaking, I'm made a leader. Who the fuck do they think I am, Martin Luther King? My god. Why I can to this school, I do not know."

"Alright then," Antonio said, walking up to Hector. "But don't expect a lot of members. I'm hard on people, and I wont' talk to people about basketball unless they talk to me. I'm mostly the silent type."
