"Oh! U-um, sure!" Alice said trying to crack a smile onto her face as she walked past him and heading for the gym. After she heard his question if she was feeling fine she had a little panic attack in her head. "O-oh it's nothing W-will! M-my brother gave me some medicine s-since I had caught a cold a-and I-I've been feeling s-s-so much better since I've t-taken it!" Alice stuttered out her lie knowing that she probably wasn't that convincing, but she knew that she didn't really have any other ideas of what to say to Will.
She usually had some sort of idea what to say to him and other guys that she usually hangs out with. But now that she wasn't trying to talk with his about the latest person he picked a fight with or such, she was drawing a blank and panicking fast!

 

Will just eyed her, noticing that this was happening in coincidence with him not getting into a fight today. "Oh well, let's go find them all right?" He asked, holding the gym door open for her. As he waited for her to go through the door though he noticed she seemed to be acting strange and talking about dfferent things since he had no recent fights to talk about.

 

Alice ground her teeth together as she felt her heart was starting to race a little and she didn't know what else to do! "T-thanks Will," Alice quickly managed to say as she walked quickly to get inside the gym before she noticed the bleachers were all fixed from her handiwork from a couple of days ago.

"Damnit! The school must of brought someone here and undid the problem I made," Alice whined as she sat on the bleachers about to pout before she noticed Jessica and Missy on the other side of the gym. "Oh, hey guys!" Alice said immediately relieved as she ran over to them with a smile on her face as she heart seemed to slow down again.

 

As Will strode in behind Alice he noticed a couple of things. One, his bloodstains were cleaned from the gym floor from last year. Two, Alice's handiwork was already fixed. And three, Alice seemed fin the second she started talking to Missy and Jessi. But he shrugged off his observations as he strode over to his friends. "Morning Missy, Jessi." He said, plopping onto the bleachers next to Alice

 

Alice pulled away from Missy's hug before looking at Jessica confused, "Kim who? Is there someone in the school you actually hate?" Alice looked back at Will before she jumped up and down, "Oh, OH! Before we talk about your little problem, can I talk with you both for a minute?"

Before she waited for their replies, she dragged Missy and Jessica to the other side of the bleachers hoping that Will doesn't hear what she was going to ask the two about. "U-um, I know this might be a little weird, but I... I kind of want your help. I mean that I... wanted to join the cheerleading team! No, wait- ugh. That isn't what I meant! I... I want help on how to talk. With boys," Alice said as she looked down feeling so feeble and vulnerable asking these two for help talking with boys which she's known since she's gotten here.

"I-it's just that I... for the last couple of years, I've been involved with the street work my brother has been doing and I just realized that I don't have to do what he does. I want to have normal, happy relationships with all my friends but..." Alice stopped in the middle of her sentence hoping that the two girls get her drift.

 

"But that's kind of the thing. I get tongue-tied around most guys because I don't know how to act I suppose," Alice said as she figited with her hands as she looked up at them, "And if I do try to act like myself, I... Ugh, I don't even know if I can be who I used to be before all of the gangs."

Alice sat down on the ground trying to give her legs a break as she sat there, "I remember that I got picked on people because I didn't like to talk with people. I guess I was a little bit of a cry baby, but I still got in small fights. Everything started going downhill after my older brother died in a car accident. My other brother took a job with the gangs because some of them payed good and he always got in trouble. I guess I know how to pull myself into trouble, wouldn't you say so?"
She rubbed the forming tears from her eyes as she got to her feet, "Well, I guess I should just suck it up and go about then. I'm going to try talking with Will and hope that this works!" With that said, she bolted past the two siblings before going over to where Will was.
"Hey Will I-" Alice stopped mid-sentence as she found herself tongue-tied. Shit, this sucks! Alice thought as she found her heart starting to race again.

 

Will looked up. "Umm hey, what's goin on here?" He asked, looking between the stuttering Alice and Jessica. "Jessi, what'd you do?" He asked, standing up to meet them. As he stood on the bleachers he stepped down to Alice's level and smiled. "Was there something you wanted to tell me?

 

Jordan finally found the boys dorm after countless wandering and walked in to find his room. Sighing as he walked in, he checked the paper he was given to find his room. "Alrighty then, room 213 in the......East Wing? Well the search is on again," he said to himself before laughing a little bit at his own joke. Fortunately for him he was in the East Wing and his room was only down the hall. On his way down he passed three large jocks tossing a football around in the hallway. Jordan had almost completely past them before they yelled to him, "Yo, emo kid!" 'Shit,' Jordan thought. He turned around and stared the three guys in each of their faces before the larger one that called continued to talk. "You 213," he asked Jordan. Jordan at first didn't understand the question but then remembered his room number and replied, "Oh yeah. Heh, the new kid I guess...." The two shorter jocks started to laugh and patted the larger one on the back before they left. The jock sighed and stuck out his hand. "I'm Jack, your new roomate." Jordan hesitantly stuck his hand ot and shook before replying, "Jordan." Jack pointed down the hall and said, "Second door on your left. Oh, and I guess you should know all the other emo kids hang out behind the gym." Jordan shrugged and only replied, "Whatever." Before walking up to his new room.


After dropping off his stuff in his room, he decided to go to the gym and see if there were actually anyone he could talk to there. He silently made his way through the hallways and quickly found the gym. He chuckled a bit before mumbling, "If it was this easy to find the gym, how was it so difficult to find my dorm?" He shook it off and took notice to the large group talking to each other on the other side of the gym. Being the shy one Jordan is, he only leaned against the wall besides the door, thinking of what to say to the group if he did decide to talk to them.

 

Jordan stumbled over a bit and was about to get mad at whoever had bumped into him. Before he could say a word, however, he looked at the person and saw that it was girl with purple shining eyes. Stuttering, he replied, "Oh, uh, i-it was nothing really. I should ask if you're ok, you did bump into me pretty hard." He gave her a small smile before thinking to himself, 'Wow, a lucky first day indeed.'

 

Alice felt her face heating up again as she looked up at him. "I-I.... Er, I w-wanted to..." Alice was stumbling a lot on her words before she waved her hands, "S-sorry! Igottago! I h-have something important t-to d-d-do. Seeyoulater!"
With that, Alice bolt away from Will as she made her escape through the other doors exiting out of the gym and towards the girls' dorms.

Stupid, Stupid Alice! I feel like an idiot embaressing myself in front of Will, Alice thought to herself as she ran down the hallway knowing that she just wanted to lock herself into her dorm. Alice got in front of her door before she patted her pockets and pulled out her key. "Man, I feel like a wreak," Alice whined as she unlocked the door and stepped inside her room. She requested to have no roommates since her parents say that she is 'mentally unstable' and having roommates would just set her off. She just collapsed on her bed seeing that her luggage and boxes were still unopened since she got here this year.
"I think I'll take a quick nap before I start working on things," Alice said to herself before she closed her eyes dreaming of being surround by boys and having more confidence to get them to ask her out.

 

Jordan scratched the back of his head and replied, "Yeah, I just got here. And I don't really know what to think of it yet, haven't really looked around yet." Jordan chuckled a bit before clearing his throat and continuing. "What about you? You new," Jordan asked. Just after he asked he noticed her blush. This had given him a little more confidence to talk to her now. "I think I'm making you blush," he said before smiling.

 

"Yeah I hope so," Jordan replied. He looked away for a second then back at her into her purple eyes. Not wanting to look like he was staring, he quickly looked away and started stuttering, "Um, yeah. Maybe, if you're not busy, y-you could show me around the school? B-but that's if you like though." He gave a nervous laugh at the end and turned red a little bit before looking back at her.
