Nathan walked onto the court. basketball always made him feel better. today it was worse than ever. he couldn't forget the death of his mother. he felt a tear slide down. his cheek. NO! he thought to himself angrily. im not gonna sit around feeling sorry for myself. I've already done that. and now i'm mov'n on! he snapped out of it, just as he heard the swiiish of the net. he hadn't realized how long he'd been on the court, or that he had been shooting hoops. his shirt was drenched in sweat. he kept shooting hoops. he felt much better.

 

Xia walked over to him and said "if you need to know me then why didn't you take my offer about tkeing you out?" then her cell rang and saw that it was Frances. SHE CAN WAIT...I AM BUSY!!! she thought puting her cell away and she walked back to Ryker asking What do I have to do to prove that I love you?"

Hector went with Alice but then said "Somethings not right..." and he had a bad feeling in his stomace as he bolted out the door to Xia and Ryker. as he was out of breth he yelled to Ryker "RYKER...what did you see that you are acting this way?...Alice is worried about you."

 

Alice got a little annoyed that his voicemail picked up, so she just hung up her phone knowing that whatever it is, she probably doesn't have to get that involved... right?
Man, I don't even know what to do to this point. I want to know what is up with Ryker, but if he doesn't want to talk, I guess I should respect that personal boundaries of his, Alice thought to herself as she noticed Hector bolt out of the room like something urgent happened.
"Huh, wonder where the fire is," Alice said out loud as she looked back over to the girl with long brown hair that was still there from before.

 

Hector looked at Ryker Hatred yet consern in his eyes. "spill it...what is it that you think you saw?" then he looked at Xia and noticed that she was not with Frances. why the hell am I worried about that? he asked him self as he stood there in frustration as he waited for Ryker to anser. "Ryker I want us to be friends and friends tell eachother everything...why are you so upset?" he said still with the same mix of hatered and conserne in his eyes.

 

Jordan laughed a little bit at what she had said and replied, "Who knows, one day that might be the case, depending on the situation." He yawned a bit and got a little bit more comfortable in the bed. He looked over at Jessica and smiled asking, "So, what's your story? I know everyone has one story to tell of their lives."

 

Jordan's gut sunk a bit, feeling bad for bringing the matter up. He looked away and breathed in a bit before saying his part. "I'm a slacker. Never studie once in my life, and am not a very social guy. I think my parents hate me sometimes, the look they give me. Heh, hell they're trying to send me to a boarding school somewhere. To top it all off, my mom is never doing too good health wise, always getting sick." Jordan sighed, thinking about the last time he saw his mother, who was in a hospital bed back in Maryland. He bit his lower lip, trying to get it out of his head before turning to Jessica with a false smile. "But hey, life goes on, right? We can't stick in the past, we gotta live for the moment," he said.

 

Jordan took off the smile to reveal a more emo and sad look upon his face before looking out the window. 'Heh, what a view for this kind of moment,' he thought to himself. He looked back at Jessica and sat up to put an arm around her before sighing. "It's easier to throw on a fake smile then to think of your mom in a hospital bed," he said emotionless and looking out of the window, into the horizon. A tear rolled down his cheek but he didn't notice, thinking about his mother and at the same time, the horizon.

 

Jordan chuckled a bit and asked, "Hey, what are you sorry for? I should be the sorry one for bringing this topic up. Hell, I kept it going when I should have just stopped." He finally felt the tear touch his lip and wiped it off and then wiped his eye of any tear yet to come. "Like I said, we can't keep sticking to the past, we gotta live for the moment. Even if the past is hard to forget." He breathed in deeply to calm himself down before any more tears came out.

 

Jordan's mind came back to reality, and did realise that this emotional topic was not the best thing to talk about and stuttered in reply, "Oh, uh, I-I'm not entirely sure." He began to think of what the two could possibly do. "Well, we could find something else to do on our own or.....oh, some jock invited me to a party earlier, too. I wasn't going to go though, since I don't really trust jocks. But if you want to go, I'll gladly go too."

 

"Hey, like I said, I don't trust jocks, except for this one kid but that's different. Point is, I wasn't going to go. So if you don't want to go either, we can find something else to do," he replied. He smiled at the thought of that one jock he would trust with his life. His best friend that he had known since they were both 4 years old. Ever since, the two were inseperatable until now, with Jordan moving away and everything else going on around the two.

 

Ryker walked away from Xia, not liking the fact she isn't getting the point. He needed to know her to really "love" her. Girls just didn't understand that notion. The closest who got to it was Alice and she cheated...
He grabbed his phone and saw that Alice wanted to call him but he sighed and let it go to voicemail.
"Maybe I should move again" he told himself.

Emily was hearing what was going on from outside and simply walked away, not wanting to get involved.

 

Hector looked at what Ryker did and then it hit him. "If your mad at Alice don't be...it...was my fault. I...I can't explain it but I just...I just couldn't contain myself.

Xia hearing what happend was now sure that the love sean that she thought she saw was not that. "Hector...are you saying you did that out of inpulse. that you two weren't together." then she looked at Ryker and started to cry as she said "I have to go see Alice." then she ran. when she finaly got to her room she wa out of breath as she said to Alice "ALICE...Ryker...he needs your comfert..." and with that she saw that there was someone with her there. "Um...Hi...er Emialy right?"

 

Alice looked over to see Xia was saying something about her needing to go comfort Ryker. "For.... ugh, never mind. Well, at least this give me the time to ask on why the hell he didn't picked up his phone and why he looked so unhappy since I sort of saw you two from up here doing who knows what," Alice muttered as she noticed that Emily walked out and down the hallway.

She peeked out the door and waved nervously, "U-um, we'll see you around then Emily, I guess!" She looked back into the room before she grabbed her fairly dry grey sweater and cellphone.
"Um, I guess I'll be back when ever, Xia. Oh, and don't touch the sewing machine since it makes loud noises unless you giggle some of the parts inside the machine. I worked on how to make your clothes, but I'm still going to need materials which I can get either today or tomorrow. If you wanna see if the prototypes fit, they're just lying out on my bed," Alice said motioning to the pile of practice clothes made up of different material all together.

And with that said, Alice took off, but she made sure to pace herself so she didn't end up making herself slip down any of the steps since the stairs were soaked from wet shoes, probably from people who have been outside today, or from the girls that were soaked in the hallway earlier from the Ryker-fire alarm situation.

 

Alex went back to his book, and noticed Missy reading a few minutes later. He waved to her. "Hey Mis. Like the new hair." He said, chuckling to himself.
