"The knights?" Emma asked confused. She then remebered hearing about them. Her face showing a look of shock, fear, anger, and sorrow; none because of herself but of others. She was brought back to reality by her statement of taking her heart.

"My heart?! What do you need with my heart?" Emma asked backing up away and keeping the struggle bat hidden.

"I suppose you'd like to do what you did to thousands of innocent people, light knights, hah more like knight from darkness if you ask me." Emma said knowing her stories and hearing other stories.

"Ouch that hurts. Don't insult me like that." A voice spoke in Emma's room. Darkness began collecting to take the shape of an individual. "The darkness isn't bad. If that were the case, I'd be bad." The figure began to vanish. It was struggling to keep its shape. "Little girl," The figure spoke to Emma, "Get out of here. I don't have much power in the Realm of Light, but I can keep this individual occupied while you get away. Now go."

The sun was beginning to set on the world Gerik was on. He was surrounded by his practice targets, all of them cut up by his weapon. He wound it up and hooked it to his belt. He was drenched in his sweat. "Alright." He smiled. "And not a single scratch on me." He walked away from the area, heading into the town he lived in. He had a small place he stayed at. He entered the place, drank a glass of water, and lied down on his bed.

Emma nodded at the figure. She quickly ran past the other girl and out of her house. She kept running and ran into the underground passages leading to multiple places in town.

Emma stopped out of breath after arriving at the mansion. She leaned against the gate, too tired to climb it.

"What's going on?" Emma asked aloud. She slid to the ground and rested her head on the wall. She could smell smoke which was sort of weird. She ignored it though.

Raven was about to answer Angel's question when she heard a man's voice in the doorway. She looked in his direction and snapped her fingers, cursing under her breath "Damn." she said, taking Angel by the elbow and shoving her at the corridor of light "Time to go." she said, resting her hand on her sword. She used wind magic to slam the door shut in front of Raiga and kept it going to brace it closed. It wouldn't keep him out for long though.

Angel held her hand out to the corridor but hesitated. It felt extremely warm to touch, physically. She wondered if it would burn her if she got too close. But then again, she saw Raven walk into one of them before. How could she be sure she could trust Raven? Last time this mysterious woman showed up, she had fallen off the clock tower and nearly lost her life. 'Ugh why is this happening again?!' she thought to herself irritably.

"Go." Raven snapped at Angel. "You've run out of time for turning back."

"How do we know we can trust you!" Hope said to Raven, speaking Angel's mind.

    "You dont."

Finch's detector went from pulsing to being fully on in the presence of Voltair. She grinned a fiendish grin, ignoring her assigned quarry for a much bigger prey.

"Oooh, you're a dark one, ain'tcha?" She cooed, summoning more blue mana to fire. "Why, you could say that to meet you I'm blushing. . . INDIGO!"

The witch forced the energy into another lance and fired at the apparition, intending to kill him. "You'll make a nice feather in my cap!" She cried while leaping after the lance, intending to strike with the blade.

Raiga stood there for a moment, door in face, before he realized what happened. He stumbled backwards, rubbing his nose that was so rudely slammed on by the door.

"How-How dare they?!" He snarled, his hands crackling with none other than electrival energy. He blasted a Thundaga at the door, shattering it to pieces. The tawny-haired man's hands began firing branching waves of electricity at the floor as he grimly stomped back towards the room.

"I don't know who the hell you are, but if you think you're getting away from me, you're in for a SHOCKING experience!" Raiga shouted, directing the Branching Lightning at the trio.

Finch and her lance went right through Voltair's body. "You honestly think I'd let you pluck a feather from one of my wings? If you want, I could gather up the strength to bring you into the dark realm and let you try. For now I'm kinda restricted of my actions here in the light realm." He looked at his left hand. It was beginning to fade away, very slowly. "I hope I bought her enough time. I've got one shot, then the rest is up to you Raven." With his hand that wasn't fading away, Voltair held it up towards Finch. "Dark Firaga." His body, or at least the darkness he was using to give himself shape in this realm, turned into the dark blast and shot straight at Finch.

Raven rolled her eyes "Well aren't you such a comedian." she said, stepping in front of the two children and holding her sword in front of her. The sword collected the lightning, with some magical assistance from raven, and did little damage to her though it did weaken her a little. She had underestimated her enemy a little, as usual. Her hand's hurt from the move she took but she ignored it, "Go!" she shouted at Angel, her patience getting thin.

Angel hesitated "You're comming with us arent you?"

"Angel Come on!" Hope yelled. She knew they had no other choice. This man obviously wanted to kill them. Their only hope for survival was to do as Raven said. She grabbed her sisters hand and pulled her through the light corridor.

Finally. Raven thought to herself irritably. Those girls were about as slow as stumps. How Angel got chosen for Symm's power of wind, Raven still wasn't sure. "Well, I'd love to stay and chat." Raven was saying to Raiga, "But I have some places to go and things to see." she stepped through the portal and it closed behind her. The last thing she thought of was the children's parents. She wondered if they had been home. If so, they were probably dead by now though.

"Woa!" Hope was freaked out. One moment she was in her bedroom and now all the sudden they were in the streets. "This... doesnt look like London." she said to her sister.

Raven walked up to the two of them and Angel looked at her "Raven... where exactly are we?" she asked.

"Twilight Town." Raven answered, as she started walking down the street hoping they weren't too late. She just expected Angel and Hope to follow her. They didnt have much of another choice. She was right.

"Wait!" Angel called after her as the two girls caught up to her. "Why did you take us here?"

"You think you two were the only ones I had to pick up today?" Raven answered.

".....What is going on?" Angel demanded. "Is this like what happened the first time we met?"

Hope was feeling totally out of the loop but she remained silent. She reasoned with herself, the best way to learn was to listen.

Raven actually smiled a little at that "You'll find out soon enough if we live through this next visit."

Angel sighed and picked up her speed to be walking right next to Raven "Ok so who is it we came here to get then?"

"A girl named Emma. She's special. Like you." thats all Raven had time to say before she sensed something familiar. She stopped in her tracks.

    "Rave-"

"-Shhh!" Raven put her hand out to stop Angel and Hope.

The two sisters looked at their 'kidnapper' like a crazy person. Raven's expression wasn't exactly readable but she did look worried. "Voltair?"

If he's been here, there must have been trouble. He wouldn't waste energy to cross relms for nothing.

She took off running toward Emma's house.

Angel and Hope exchanged confused looks and then ran after her "Raven wait!"

"Wait here." Raven called back to them "And don't draw attention to yourselves." she dissapeared in the crowd then.

Raiga sighed, wiping off a bloody sword with what appeared to be a rag torn off a dress. He flipped open what appeared to be a cell phone, pressing a button.

"Hey, uh. . . Central? We've got a slight problem. Two evaders of the law, in fact. Yeah, I eliminated the parents and got the hearts. This is going to come out of my pay, isn't it?"

Finch, completely unprepared for such an occasion, was blasted through the wall and into the next room by the Dark Firaga. Thankfully, her mana shielded her from any harm, save a few third-degree burns on her waist and a concussion from hitting her head on the wall. She muttered something unintelligible before falling unconscious.

The door to Gerik's home opened, no sign of the doorknob being used. In the doorway stood a white-haired man with pale eyes, holding what appeared to be a detector of some sort in one hand and what looked like a screwdriver on crack in another.

"Greetings. You are the one known as Gerik, yes? My name is Ghira Ksiki. I have come on business to elminate you." The man said in a soft voice, setting his equipment down on a nearby table and drawing out a sword from his side.

Emma looked at the time on her watch and sighed.

"I can probably head back now." Emma thought to herself and stood up. She looked backat the mansion still smelling smoke. She shrugged it off and started walking off. She she left sitting and resting against the wall there was burn marks.

Slowly Emma walked back into town and heard the 12:00 bell ring. People doing some shopping, hanging out with friends, or going for lunch. She smiled but knowing the time she was suppose to be in school at the moment.

"Huh?" Emma stopped and noticed two girls with a lost look on their face. Emma stopped and looked at them. 'I've never seen them around before.' She thought to herself. Emma looked at the one girl 'she seems different, like me almost.' She thought to herself and shrugged it away.

"Hey!" She called to them and waved running over to them. "You two look lost." Emma stated.

Gerik looked up at the newcomer. He sat up from his bed. "Gerik?" He asked. "My roommate isn't around right now. I'd be happy to take a message though." Gerik grabbed his weapon, which was lying nearby. He still had his pouch of explosives hanging from his belt. "Can we talk outside? There's more fresh air out there." Gerik looked at Ghira's device. "I'm gonna go ahead and guess that this person found me with that thing. I'm curious as to how he knew my name though. I've never seen him before, and I'm not really social anyways."

From the dark realm, Voltair was all alone as he sensed events in the realm of light. "At least the fourth one can defend himself. I'd feel better if Raven could get to him quick. I won't be able to step in this time. Not for a while."

Raven cursed under her breath as she came to the house of the second Elemental and found the door broken in. She was in the doorway within a few silent seconds and looked into the house, drawing her sword just in case. She heard absolutely nothing, felt no darkness, well at least not as strong as before. The feeling was extremely familiar to her, though she hadn't felt it this strongly in a really long time. Almost pushing her away but at the same time kind of drawing her in. Obviously, this was coming from her complete oposite in every way, and her best friend. It comforted her a little to know that he had been there, at least there was some small hope for the girl. Whether or not he had managed to save her, Raven could only hope.
But what really worried her was the faint sound she heard upstairs, and the smell of smoke. Someone was breathing. Not many people could have picked up this sound, and it was faint and slow. She hoped this meant whoever it was, was unconsious if it was an enemy, or living if it was Emma.
Raven was sure to be as slient as the grave as she came up the stairs and then into another room at the top of the stairs, it also had the door broken in.
The smoke smell was stronger, as was the sound of breathing. Raven noticed the great big hole in the wall then. At first, she saw this as a bad sign. Then she saw the woman lying on the floor and silently let out the breath she had been holding. It wasn't Emma. It was a girl that Raven didn't recognise but the evidence and circumstance made it obvious who she was. A Light Knight. Raven hesitated for a moment. She could finish what Voltair started: kill her. But something about the thought bothered her. She had never killed an apponent who couldn't fight back before. It seemd cowardly to her, and just not right. After thinking of this, Raven put her sword away. But she did decide to cut off the girl's way of finding Emma. She noticed a device lying not far from her hand and she picked it up and placed it in her pocket. Whatever it was, it looked like some sort of tracking device. As she left, she cast a spell on the hole in the wall, sealing it up and she locked the door outside the room she was in from the outside. This wasn't going to keep her in forever, but hopefully long enough for Raven to find Emma and get her and Angel (and her sister) away from Twilight Town if she managed to wake up before that time. Then, she started toward the door, checking the tracking device she had taken from the Light Knight as she went.

Angel saw a girl run toward them and she nodded "You could say that." she said politely to the girl. Hope remained quiet but she eyed the stranger suspiciously. After today, she wasn't sure who to trust and Raven warned them not to draw attention.

Ghira shook his head in disapproval.

"Whether you are Gerik or not is not a problem. You are the one that I shall eliminate, for you are the one with darkness Proportionately half, to be exact." He told the warrior, readying his sword. "While under any other circumstance, I would challenge you to honorable combat, this is the one circumstance that I can't take risks on. Good-day."

And he lunged forward with a horizontal slash.

Kavi breathed heavily. Since he had gotten to this island, he had miraculously managed to avoid getting caught by one of those. . . human fledgelings. Of course, it helped that he had found a cave whose entrance was tiny and covered with fronds. He rested in here, leaving at night to find food.

"Why am I here? Why am I a human?" He asked to himself aloud while roasting a fish over a fire pit he made.

"And here I was hoping he'd believe me. Oh well. Guess it's time to move to another area. Can't let my surroundings stop me." Gerik thought to himself as he dropped to the ground to dodge Ghira's attack. Gerik threw the blade part of his weapon like a dart. Not at Ghira, but at the equipment he set down. The blade easily cut through the device. "Killing somebody because they're different. Sounds a little like genocide." While still on the ground, Gerik stuck a leg between Ghira's legs and kicked one of them away in an attempt to cause Ghira to fall. Gerik quickly pulled his blade back, not risking a chance for him to be open to a counter attack.

Angel smiled at the local girl, trying to be as friendly as possible in spite of their situation. "We came here with a woman but she had to run an errand. She said she would be back any moment and that she would meet us here. We aren't lost." that was half a lie but she remembered what Raven said about not drawing attention. But she thought she would ask this anyway "You must be a local here. Whats your name?"

Raven was getting a bit impatient. There were still two more elementals to find and now she really did have to hurry because she obviously wasn't the only one looking for them. As far as Raven knew, the other three could already be dead. She turned down another street, using the weird device as her guide though it was going off anyway because of her 'corrupted light', she could still tell it was picking up someone else.

    Emma nodded and smiled.

"Well, with Twilight Town you got to be careful, it's like a giant maze. If you're new to the town you easily get lost in." Emma explained. Emma began to walk but stopped when the girl began to ask her something. She turned back around.

Emma looked at the girl when she was asking about her name.

"My name is Emma. Well I'll see you both around I got to go see if the people who broke in my house left yet or not." Emma stated. "See ya." she said before walking away. She saw a woman, very young in appearence. The woman was carrying some weird device which caused Emma to stop.

'That person who attacked me, they had the same device.' Emma stated. She could only hope she was going to be attacked again and if she were she could really use that other guy.

Interesting. Ghira thought as his opponent's blade sliced apart his tools. Very interesting. With the kick that followed up, Ghira let himself drop. Once he was about to hit the ground, he curled his back and used his downward momentum on impace to roll himself backwards and away from the fighter. Once he was on his toes, he stood up and thrust his sword into the floorboard, getting it stuck. He's quick. I have got to see what he is capable of.

"You. You're far too interesting to kill at this time. I will let you live for the time being. Now, if you'll excuse me, I will be going to report on an escaped Dark that managed to overpower me in combat and is now on the loose." He cooly told Gerik, standing up and brushing himself off before pulling the sword out of the ground. Out of his pocket, he tossed a small, ornate device that was not unlike a Christmas bauble, though it was like a metal wicker orb with a button on top. "That portal device will take you where you need to go. I hope you stay alive, for I want to see what happens."

With those parting words, Ghira left the home, pulling a comms device from another pocket.

"This is Ksiki. My quarry overpowered me and escaped."

After Ghira left, Gerik stood still, kinda dumbstruck. "First impression? Bad guy. Second impression? Somebody who enjoys fighting people. Third impression? Working for somebody." He looked at the device in his hand. "Ironic. My first true means of escape since I was abandoned on this world. Given to me by somebody who tried to kill me. But can they find me if I use this thing?" Gerik quickly walked over to a desk in his room, grabbed some paper and a pencil, and started to scribble some things down.

Random person finds me. Has strange equipment used to find me. Probably part of some larger organization. Called me a Dark, said I was proportionally 50/50 darkness. Darkness doesn't exist. Not in this world. Probably others like me.

Gerik thought he was a little crazy as he wrote these things down. "I know I'm a chronic liar, but even this is too much of a stretch. Now I'm just guessing here." Gerik stopped, took a deep breath, and calmed himself down. "I gotta leave. They know I live here. Even though that guy said I escaped, more might come here. I guess they can track me." Gerik ran through the rooms, looking through the mess of stuff. He found a burlap bag. He ran back to the destroyed device. It was too damaged for him to take with him and maybe get it repaired. Gerik then ran to a different room and put some food in the bag. Along with the food, he put another bag in the larger bag. "I'm gonna need to be able to make some more if I end up using what I have right now." Gerik then started to leave the building. As he did, he took his weapon and started spinning it around. He began randomly destroying things, making it appear like there was more of a struggle here than there really was. Once his living space was damaged enough, Gerik pressed the button on the device. It opened up a portal and he walked through it.

    >The second bag he put in the other bag alongside the food is basically materials for the small bombs he uses.<

Angel waved as the girl left "So calm about someone breaking into her house. That girl is a bit peculiar." she said to Hope.

Hope laughed "And you're not panicing about some psycho trying to break into our house and kill you. Let's be sure to know ourselves before we judge others." she said to her sister.

Angel smiled but she nodded "I know you are right. But then again, I've seen this before. Remember, I met Raven and whoever that other guy long before now."

"Wait, you met Mr. Psycho Kill Angel Guy?" Hope said, confused.

"What?" she gave Hope a strange look, but then realized the communication error. "I mean the other one. Vol.... well I forgot his name. But didn't you hear her mutter it before she ran off?"

Hope had to think for a moment but then she recognised it "Oh yeah... she did say something like that. So who do you think Whats-his-name is?"

Angel shrugged "I havent the foggiest clue. I think I saw him once after Raven left me at the Clock Tower. But then again, I was barely concious. It could have been a dream. All I know for sure is whenever I get the feeling she knows he's around she gets anxious and something bad usually happens."

"Do you think he's bad then?" Hope asked.

Angel shrugged "I wish I could tell you. But it doesn't really matter now. I dont even know for sure if we can trust Raven just now. I guess we can only take the path in front of us and make our decisions when we know more."

"Good point." Hope said, though she sounded a bit reluctant. She didn't like knowing what the future held. But it was her only option at this point.

Just as Emma went out of sight, Hope and Angel saw Raven come into sight from the opposite direction. Suddenly, Angel put two and two together.

... "Hey Hope, did Raven ever mention the name of the person she was here looking for?"

Hope thought for a moment and then she thought the same thing Angel did "Oh My gosh!" she said, slapping her forehead feeling like an idiot.

The new world opened itself up to Gerik. He looked around. This world was nothing like the world Gerik was on beforehand. It was a massive metropolis. The silver buildings towered above everybody's heads, shining in the sunlight. Vehicles were flying throughout the sky, moving like little insects.

Gerik walked around, marvelling at his surroudnings. There were floating signs, all broadcasting a single event.

"Are you here for the race?" A man asked Gerik from behind the counter of an outdoor shop.

    "Race?" Gerik asked.

"Yeah. The race that's been promoted for weeks now. It's on every sign floating throughout the city. It's our biggest race of the year."

    "Sounds cool. How does work."

The person chuckled. "I'm guessing you're a traveler. We have this race every year, in celebration of the defeat of the darkness."

    "Defeat of the darkness?"

"Yeah. Didn't anybody teach you anything about history?"

"I probably fell asleep." Gerik smiled and lied, rubbing the back of his head.

"Well, some time ago, long long ago darkness made another attempt to control the worlds. Another group of heroes from Destiny Islands rose up to defeat the darkness. In the end, they defeated the dark tyrant. An individual, with wings dark as night. They sealed him and all the darkness in the dark realm, never to be seen again. And ever since then, we've had a race. Contestants fly throughout the city and the outskirts on flying vehicles. The winner gets a very nice prize."

Gerik thought about it. "Sure, why not? Sign me up for the race."

"Just sign here." The person said, pushing towards a clipboard and pen."

Gerik paused before signing. "Probably shouldn't use my real name. Not if there are others hunting me." Gerik put the pen to the paper on the clipboard and scribbled a name. Calvin Bell.

    >Yes, things happened differently in the previous RP. But I figured that somebody would've messed with history to make the dark seem more evil.<

Quickly Emma walked and knew she escaped. She sighed and fell onto a seat in the train station waiting for the train to come from sunset Terrance to see what damage could have been done.

Emma closed her eyes and part of her wanted to go back to the two girls an the other lady. She closed her eyes and saw one of her dreams flash in her mind. She opened her eyes realizing something.

"That one girl and that lady! They were in my dreams!" Emma exclaimed aloud with her discovery.
