Will just shook his head, looking over at Jack. "First off we need to find a map of Silent Hill, all I know was his cabin was on the edge of Toluca Lake. It looks like we're on Arcadia street with the interstate behind us. I believe we are in the part known as old Silent Hill. We need to find a map so we know how to get to the lake." He said, looking over at Jack.

"Old Silent Hill, huh?" Jack thought out loud. "What happened to Old Silent Hill that made them build New Silent Hill..?" Jack asked looking halfway over to Will. After asking this, Jack noticed something out of the corner of his eye. "Wait..What's that?" He asked turning quickly towards it. Whatever it was, it was laying down, and it wasn't moving, but it looked human. Jack ran over to it. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a mangled body "HOLY SH--" Jack covered his mouth from the shock "Will! Come look at this!"

Will came over slowly, gun up as he approached the body. When he finally ame into view of it he almost lost the contents of his stomach. "Oh... oh my god... What is that? I think I'm gonna be sick..." He panted, turning and dropping to his knees, putting his forehead on the side of the car. "I'm not going to even ask what could have done that..." He panted, knowing the rumors about the town yet not knowing what creatures may await him was scaring him.

Even thought Jack thought he was going to throw up, he couldn't stop looking at the body. He got closer, and closer. It looked like someone he knew. Someone who he was close to. He shook his head and turned away. "Will...What in the world is going on here...What is wrong with this town? I've already seen too many unnatural things today and i don't think i'm prepared to see more unless i get answers." He asked. He walked slowly over to Will and helped him up "We need to find someplace to rest, i think."

Will slowly stood and looked around, checking what buildings were near them. He looked over and saw a convenience store. "In... ugh... in there, we should be able to be safe for a bit. Get some supplies and..." He paused, looking over at the body again, noticing it looked very familiar. Then the head turned and looked at him, the face a mirror of his aunt's bright smile covered in blood. At the sight of this he lost the contents of his stomach to the ground. "Oh my god... aunt Lisa?" He panted through dry heaves.

"Aunt Lisa..? How could it....But that looks like..My fiance..I don't...Get it...How can we both see something different..?" Jack thought. He put Will's right arm over his shoulder and helped him walk. He started going for the convenience store. He paused for a moment and looked back towards the body. To his surprise it was gone. Nothing left but a bunch of blood "Am i seeing things...??..How could this be possible?!" He thought "It's gone..." Jack said to Will as he turned away and looked towards the store "It couldn't have gotten up and walked away could it..?" He asked

Will just shook his head weakly. "Just... get in..." He breathed, his voice heavy as he shakily placed his feet. He didn't know what he saw but he knew he needed something to settle his stomach and needed a little shelter from the ash filled air. "It looked like my aunt... it looked like the person I watched them bury ten years ago..." He breathed as they stumbled through the door. When they got into the store he leaned on the counter and put his head to the cold surface.

Jack quickly ran in the back room to look for anything that could settle Will's stomach. There wasn't a single thing in the storage room, all the shelves were empty. The faucets were working in the bathroom the water was so dirty looking that it would probably make Will's condition worse than help it. He ended finding a piece of cloth and wet it with cold water. He walked back into the main area of the store and gave the cloth to Will "This might help a bit if you put it on your head." He said as he sat down. After a shot pause, Jack noticed a strange noise coming from the other end of the room. He got up and walked slowly towards the sound, it got louder and louder as he went forward. It sounded like static. When he got close enough to realize what the noise was, he sighed in disappointment. "Just a broken radio..I was hoping for something a bit more interesting then that." He walked closer and picked it up. "Doesn't seem too broken..It's still working, but it isn't picking anything up." Jack said to himself. Suddenly the static got louder and louder, as it got louder, Jack heard something outside the window "Will.." He said as quietly as he could but still loud enough so that Will could hear him all the way across the room "I hear something outside..."

Will slowly lifted the pistol and aimed at the shadow that was hovering over the window. "I don't know what it is, but I don't... I don't want to find out..." He panted, pistol shaking as he pulled himself up by the counter. "Keep looking in the fridges and things for some form of a drink... I'll keep an eye on the shadow." He breathed, sitting on the counter and aiming the pistol at the shadow. Once he steadied the pistol he grabbed the washcloth and slapped it across his forehead, letting the cool water regain his head a little.

Jack continued looking until he found something under a desk "Liquid Medicine..Health Drink..I wonder if it works with stomachs.." He looked up and ran over to Will and put it on the counter next to him "Try this..I don't know if it'll work, though." He said. "That radio is getting louder and louder by the minute.." Jack walked back over to the radio and picked it up. "Maybe we'll get a signal.." He said walking into one of the back rooms. He noticed that when he entered the back room, the static became very faint. Almost to the point where you couldn't hear it. "Huh..Stopped." He continued looking for anything of use. When he walked back out into the main room, the static started again "Wh-What the?" He took the radio out of his pocket and looked at it. The further he got from the front door, the quieter it got. "Weird.."

Will just aimed at the window while he popped the lid off the health drink and took a swig. It settled his stomach fine but he was wondering what was in it and why it tasted so bad. But he didn't care, just so long as he felt better. He watched the shadow struggle around outside the window before stumbling away slowly. "I wonder what that was..." He breathed, grabbing the drink and putting the lid back on it, sliding it into the pocket of his jacket. "Jack, that thing left and I feel better. Let's get out of here and to my grandfather's cabin." He called.

Jack ran into the front room "What do you think it could have been?" He asked. He was about to open the front door but he noticed something on a table "Hey! It's a map!" He called to Will as he grabbed it "It's a little faded but it's readable." Jack gave the map to Will and then proceeded to open the door.

Right as his hand touched the door handle, the radio started giving off static again, it went from faint to loud in only a few seconds. After becoming as loud as it possibly could, it started ringing "What in the--" Before Jack could finish, the door burst open, shattering the glass that was in it and knocking Jack to the ground. A large tall figure with something on it's head stood over Jack. It grabbed him by the throat and held him level to it's face. It was wearing a huge helmet that was 7-sided, was shaped like a triangle and looked excruciatingly painful to wear. There were two triangular grates on each side of the helmet. As Jack looked closer, he could see that there were two thick spikes inside the helmet that appeared to be holding it together. The placement suggested that it was going through the person's head. "Put me down!!" Jack yelled "Will! Help!" He large figure grunted and raised it's right arm, he was holding a gigantic knife like weapon. He pulled it back as if he was ready to stab Jack "Oh man..WILL!!"

Will looked at the creature and aimed, unloading the pistol into it's chest. "Why won't this thing die?" He barked, bullets spitting from the gun rapidly. Then the gun clipped emptily. "No! This can not be good!" He roared, reaching behind the counter and grabbing the first thing his hands fell upon. A steel pipe that had a rounded top to it. Will leaped from the counter and started smashing the pipe into the creature's stomach until it fell over. "Jack, we gotta go!" He barked, not caring his pistol was empty and laying on the counter.

Jack quickly got up off the ground and ran out of the building and following will "What was that thing?! It didn't even look human!" Jack looked behind him and saw the silhouette of the creature "He's coming out! What should we do?" He asked as he ran. The thing was menacing looking even from a distance. Jack looked back and noticed that the thing was playing with it's helmet. Almost like it was adjusting it. "That helmet looks so painful....How on earth can he wear it?" Jack thought to himself as he looked forward, realizing that he had slowed down a bit. He quickly caught back up with Will and looked at him, waiting for an answer to his first question

    >Pyramid Head can't run with the Great Knife<

Will looked at him then looked at the map. "Go to the left and follow Arcadia street, there are some apartments about a block down!" He barked, sprinting towards the direction of the apartments. The sound of the massive blade the thing was carrying echoed off the buildings as it exited the store. Sparks shot off the blade as Will looked back, the creature pointing at Will and just standing there, the large knife looking very much like a massive version of the combat knife Will had on the back of his belt.

Jack nodded and and followed Will. Will was fast, faster than Jack was. Jack was able to keep up, but almost tripped a few times trying. He didn't want to look back to see if the thing was still there, but he had to. When he did, to his surprise, it was gone "It's gone..Think we should slow down? I'm running out of energy. We're going to need to at some point.." Jack said as he continued running, but at a slightly slower pace than before. Before there was even enough time for Will to answer, a blood curdling sound could be heard. Metal scraping on the ground "Whe--Where is that coming from?" Jack called as he covered his ears. The sound was loud and high-pitched, but after a few seconds, it stopped. "What in the world was that...It tried to kill us..And something tells me it'll be back.."

Will stopped and turned. "I don't know what that was, but I know that it seemed to have quite an interest in us." He said, knowing he seemed to have better stamina than Jack. "I say we get to those apartments, see if we can find anyone here. And maybe see what's going on." He said, looking back at Jack and then realizing. "Crap... my pistol is still at the store. But seeing as it did almost nothing to that creature then I guess it's useless right now." He breathed.

Dexter shuffled the dusty rubble and silt off against the sides of his boots as he proceeded to what could very well be an abandoned parked right up against the side of a cliff. There hadn't been any visible damages, at least internally, though the door to driver's side was wide open, as if someone just got out and walked away, only leaving the fog lights on to trail his escape from behind.

The sheriff held down the dispatching end of his walkie-talkie, trying to receive some sort of feedback from the local precinct in the New Silent Hill district. "'Ey, Matt?" He said, his eyes shifting as the gelid clouds of precipitation enveloped him as well as his vehicle, "YO, can you get me an ID on a plate number..." Dexter moved in closer to the trunk as he couldn't make out a single digit, "Q, S, two, three, U, seventeen?"
There was more silence and as Dexter waited in suspense, a puff of steam escaped his lips although it wasn't nearly winter yet. Dexter had kidded himself before, and went on to thinking it was just a cool air front moving in on the tall mountains he was on.

"Yo Matty!" He said again, this time louder almost in fright as he made out little shapes amongst the fog here and there, little flickers of light, and shadows that darted from cloud to cloud within the sky.
"Yeah, yeah, I heard you, Lamb. I just checked it out, we got a registration for... a Jack Mason. City boy from up north, What's up?"
    "We got an eleven-twentyfour."
"Pfft. Carpetbagger pro'ly got lost in the woods."
"Great, now I gotta fill out a missing persons report at one A.M.?"
"Look, I got'cha. Why don't you come back to the station, get yourself some rest, have some coffee and in a couple hours or so we'll send a couple squad cars out there lookin' for him. Sheriff, it's dangerous out in the mountains this kinda night. You know what kinda weather we've been getting down here? Looks to me like we're gonna be having some sh**storm."

Dexter sighed, moving towards the abandoned. It was a nice car to say the least. Good condition, and even didn't seem to have anything clearly wrong with it, even after popping the hood. The engine was fine and the fans kept such a vehicle from overheating this quickly after a ride up the mountains, though what had possessed this Jack fellow to leave his ride. Especially in this environment. Dexter couldn't see a hand in front of his face.

"Hmm..." Dexter murmured, staring intently at the key as he sat in the driver's seat.
"Hmm?" Matt queried across the radio, a long intimidating silence carrying across the both of them.
"The car's running perfectly, I'm just damn right puzzled at this. Guy must be a loon."
    Matt laughed, "Or a jackass."
Dexter got out from the vehicle just before noticing a picture of a young woman sitting in Jack's open glove compartment. She was quite stunning, dolled up in a dress whomever it could be, she seemed happy as she stared at the camera for the photo. On the back the photo read in scripted ink, My wonderful Man, you've made me the happiest Lady. I love you. Must've been this Jack's wife or girlfriend Dexter had thought.

The sheriff moved back to his cruiser, turning his lights back on as he got back on the radio with Matt, "Expect me back in a few hours myself. I'm taking this one now while I'm still awake. Feel free to send in some back up if I don't make it back through these heavy mists."
"This is crazy, Sheriff..." Matt stated, "You know what's out there."
"No one knows what's out there... The department can only assume. " Dexter said as he tossed the walkie-talkie aside on the seat next to him and began driving, bypassing the car and moving along the road. It would be soon before he met with the old Silent Hill. A town of ruin. A town of ghosts.

Jack looked around at their surroundings, tall, abandoned buildings were all around them. He saw one building that stood out to him. It was probably the apartments Will had talked about. Before Jack started walking again, he looked to his right and noticed a figure in the distance. Tall, had something big in it's right hand, and something else in it's left. It looked like the thing that they had seen earlier, but it wasn't paying attention to them. Jack had thought it didn't even know they were there. The thing in it was dragging behind it with it's left hand was hard to make out at first, but after a minute of looking harder at it, it looked like a body. "If that is a body...I don't think i want to know what he's doing with it.."

Driving down the main roads now before entering a hollow clearing amidst the trees that hovered above the humming GTO Judge police cruiser, Dexter had had the still, but vigorous feeling that someone, or very well, something was watching him. Up ahead the sheriff passed by another car on the road, though he was no detective and as protocol would alert the professionals in the area.

"Matt, we got another one up here." Dexter cautioned, wanting to notify the back up squads as soon as possible. A few seconds went by, and there was no answer.
"Matt, we got an eleven-twentyfour, over." He repeated once more, though still no answer.
The sheriff examined the scanner, and the radios as well as the walkie-talkies. Nothing had seemed to work.
"Matt? Are you there? We have an eleven-twentyfour, copy that, over." He played around the the device more for a bit, concerned and a little uneasy towards the fact that his only form of contact wasn't functioning properly and his cell phone couldn't get service.

Dexter continued on what became pure gravel and muck under his car until he saw a couple people in the distance. The sheriff blinked hard, unsure if what he was seeing was true or just his eyes playing tricks on him, but no matter, he came to a full stop. Ensuring what he had seen was real before stepping out of his vehicle.
