RP Ideas

So I've been trying to come up with some original RP's to add some lively hood to that neighborhood, and I've come up with a few different stories. I want your feedback on which ones would be better to do, and/or what would you do with it. These are just some general ideas for them, not the actual story, that's what I want you all to jump in and help on.

The Warden's Daughter-
Backstory/How the Idea Origin: So in sociology we're talking about criminals. We were able to learn a lot of them can often be misunderstood as being pure evil wanting to do harm, some are innocent(well more common in the old days), wards of the prison often lived in a luxurious apartment within the prison, and some wards can actually be pretty bad. Now I did miss a lot of these lessons, and granted I had to pick up lesson ideas from the movie we watched in class based off of a Stephen King book "Shawshank Redemption" (and another book). The idea also arose when a retired ward came and spoke to our class. One question he was asked is why did he want to become a ward, and to my surprise he actually grew up in prison because his dad was a ward and they lived in those apartment all the way from when he was 4 to when he was 27. It got me thinking, and I being a huge romantic, I decided to create a true forbidden love.
Story Idea: _______ was a man charged of a crime he did not commit. He was given a total of 20 years behind bars. He was allowed no visitors or contact to the outside world. Upon arriving at the prison he was given several alias, the one most common was the number tattooed to back.

________ was a young lady locked up in prison. She did not commit any crimes, nor was she arrested ever. She was the daughter of the ward at ____________ Prison. She was home schooled in the home with her two brothers, two of which went off to college and one who has come back as a prison guard. She was never allowed to leave though. Her father did not want her marrying a man of evil that have come through the prison. Her brother's were to find someone to care for her. Her brother's have not searched yet for her. Thanks to the help of an old prison guard, the only freedom she receives is the chance to spend in the prison's library created by her mother. It is there __(girl)___ and ____(the guy)____ meet. It was there love at first sight was born.
Plot: The two young lovers have 20 years to figure out how the two can remain together, they need to remain secretive for 20 years, can they last. Will the suspecting older brother prison guard find out, will the ___(guy)___ stay sane through the prison's mental challenges, ...
Other Facts:
-Setting: Obviously the setting is in a prison. I'm think a time period to be about the early 1900's only because that's when prisons were bad, when they weren't monitored real well and abuse from the guard and wards could be given.
-Character: Obviously there are on purpose 4(or 6) main characters: The prisoner, the daughter, the ward, the brother guard(, the other brother, the older guard). However it's a prison there's tons of room for other possibilities. From additional guards to prisoners.
-Play Out: I want this to be a little different. I want this to be a long story with tons of twists around each corner, I also don't want all 20 years played out, so times skips I feel will need to be appropriate. This makes it then an ADVANCED RP you're going to need to allow your character to be ready to transition into any time skips.


Sons and Daughters
Story Origin: So I've always wanted to read/see Percy Jackson and that demi god series. I haven't seen it because I haven't been in a super rush to see it yet though, however I liked it on Facebook. Lately I've been seeing a lot of updates from it about a new book series or something very similar following the same concept of Percy Jackson, this got me thinking then.
Story(and plot because this one is a little rough): Five high school students/college freshmen are arriving to the new school for the first time. A few excited the others not so much. It was suppose to be their general first day of school and their general school year however destiny does not have that planned. They are special, they were suppose to not meet according to the gods however the gods can't mess with destiny. When the five teens meet for the first time, a whole new world begins to unravel. As an unknown truth to them is revealed, they are demi gods with great power more than any mortal could dream(but not stronger than the gods). When an evil god, sentenced to the mortal world with the strength as a demi god, he learns about the demi gods, all of them unskilled in their powers, not completely protected, all of them bait though as a chance to black mail the gods and become the highest chair over the gods. Will the demi gods be able to learn to control their powers.
Other Facts:
-Setting: Pretty straight forward setting. It takes place on a High School/College campus, in a major city, also with parts in a mythical world. It would take place in about Mordern times with modern technologies and ideas, whatever.
-Characters: There are the 5 main protagonists and the one evil god. As for other characters there's always perhaps followers for the one evil god, maybe even a protector or two from the gods, and we can even throw in the gods, however they will not be able to interfere a whole lot.
-Play Out: It would be pretty simple. For anything in comparison, it would be kind of but not really similar to a RP created by Ventus called "Powers"

 

The Planet
Story Origin: So this is kind of the story I put together about the idea on having a RP based off the community. However, I did not want just a story on the community because to me that would be a little boring(not that it wouldn't be enjoyable) but it just would have action or that supreme conflict against power while throwing in action and stuff. So instead taking ideas from a community based RP, ideas from Tron Legacy, and ideas from several dictatorships, technological computer worlds, etc.
Story: Today, we live in a world ran be technology. You look around every corner and you'll find something of technological power helping our lives. All of them have computer components in them. The computer is after all, the biggest technological power ever, but even within a computer, built within the programming is a server. It is to comply by its name, and serve, serve us was the purpose. What to say though if that server were to stop listening to us? Would rather we serve it?

An online website known as "The Planet" is a friendly website for teens and college students. They talk about your typical interests. Over the past few years though, "The Planet" has been facing some server issues. Nothing that wouldn't eventually get fixed, however it would happen again, and again. The server would fail and deny the The Planet community.

The truth? It was merely testing us, testing to find out who in the group were the strongest and most skilled as it would be the first to commit this crime, a crime thought impossible, a crime unimaginable. It was a silent night, only a few members were logged on when the site began to react. You were those members, and what you would about to experience would change your life forever.
Plot:(let me finish the story by adding telling the plot as the continuance).

... As a the screen froze, and eventually went blue, a message in black flashed onto the screen.


"Welcome user." The message began to scroll down as you stared deeply into the screen trying to make sense of the message, doing this you doomed yourself as your mind and soul was pulled straight from your body in the technological world of The Planet. The message engraved into your mind...

"In 30 days the malware installed into your mind will be completed as you serve me now. You will be gifted abilities to allow my brother and sister servers to take over the world. Until then you must reside in this world, do not attempt to escape."
Other Facts:
-Setting: It takes place in a technological world. We'll imagine it looking like the Tron Legacy city.
-Characters: This is community based, so there are multiple characters working together. I or whoever I see fit will control the server(which I will give a better name to at sign ups). Also a little more to know for the characters...

• They are basically you, so mary sue is kind of allowed, but not really. It needs to be you not what you wish to be
• You will be granted powers based on skills you have technology, in real life, or on the site here. I will approve certain power control only because I plan for mods, super mods, and admins to have a little more "power" because they work hard(and it's not because I'm one, if people feel that way, I won't give myself that adittional power)
• The name will be your username, not your real name. So my real first name is Nicole. My real self in the real world might be Nicole as well, but in the technological world of "The Planet" my alias programmed into me if you will is my username, so I would be Destiny
• Going witht the last bullet, nicknames are permitted so for let's say G.SummonerBMW, he can have a nick name most commonly used so either Summoner or SB.

-Play Out: I'm not even going to touch basis because it's kind of been explained already within explaining about characters.



COMING SOON: Another RP idea may be added here as I'm going to help them out and offer to have it added in this thread as well. It is a surprise RP though in a sense(those who already know don't spoil it). And the RP is guaranteed to happen(when it does, I encourage you all to sign up), just it may be put here to add any feedback before it's possibly put up.

If I remember that RP correctly, it was a huge fail- I knew it from the start. This one is kind of similar but not really at all. The thing is this one actually has a story that forces the characters to act.

For "Sons and Daughters" you don't need to know Percy Jackson to RP it. Heck I don't know it as well, I know the general summary of it, that's it.

Warden's Daughter I won't make until I get more confirmation on it.
