Well, Christianity ans Islam are known world wide for their dogma. So yeah, you do.....I used to when I was a Christian. And no, Christianity calls a lot of things pagan and demonic...just because it goes against what Jesus said, or prooves Christianity wrong. As for "jesus-freaks", I just hate it when someone can be so involved with the church, or so not involved with the church and act like they know anything at all. They act like they've read the whole Bible, but really they just heard a few sermons about Jesus and the New Testament.

  2. No, actually that would be umm, the Crusading Catholics basically.

Theres this God called Ahura-Mazda. He is the god of truth. And there is this god of Confusion called Ahrimen. they are in this eternal battle between Asha and Druj (ASha= Truth, order, righteousness. Druj = Chaos, confusion, evil). Ahura-Mazda created the Ahura (Persian for 'good spirit') and Ahrimen created the Daevas (Persian for evil spirit).
The Ahura and Daevas Fought, but the daevas had the upper hand. Then Ahura-Mazda made humans as warriors to fight Ahrimen, and eventually their came to be a battle over the loyalty of humans. This battle goes on for eternity, but Ahura-Mazda will win in the end. Zoroaster himself (in Persian is Zarathrushta, means son of a star) was Ahura-Mazda. The 3 wise men were Zoroastrian. They were following the Star of Zoroaster himself.
Thats there 'mythology in a sense'. There base of sacred scripure. But theres a lot more.
They believe in these Principles to.
Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds.
Thats like the daily belief of Zoroastrianism. Like Christianities' is to believe in Jesus and pray daily. Zoroastrians pray 3 times a day, and follow those principles.

  12. Huh, that's pretty fun to read. Do you have some sort of book with his teachings and stuff?

The Gathas are Zoroaster's hand written books, The Avesta and the Yasna are the main books. There are some others, but there smaller books.

  14. I had no idea that it was fun to read on religion.

Which Christian Religion? Catholic or one of the Prodestant ones? There are alot of differences between Catholic and Prodestant.

If you're reffering to Catholism, it's not 'You're forgiven if you believe in Jesus.' First off, you have to go to confession to get close of being forgiven. Then you have to be truly sorry for the sins you've commited.

And getting into Heaven requires more than just believing in Jesus.

Nope, not a lot of differences. Just the way they "perform their rituals".....or worship. But they're worshipping the same thing. And I was Lutheran for most of the time I was Christian, but my grandparents were Catholic and I went to Church with them a lot as a kid. Its like the same really.

As to your second quote, You really think confessing your sins to a MAN will get you anywhere? Your pastor, or priest, or whatever you "have", has NO POWER! You think they do just because they went to school for this stuff? NO! They know nothing, only explicit details of what basic Christians think they understand. And how many people who "confess" really mean it? Hm?

And of course believing in Jesus isnt the only thing that'll get you into heaven, thats my whole point!! getting back to Paradise has NOTHING to do with believing in "JESUS".

As for Zoroastrianism......heres more info you might be interested in:
    Quotation:
"Zoroastrianism is the oldest of the revealed world-religions, and it has probably had more influence on mankind, directly and indirectly, than any other single faith." -Mary Boyce.

    Background:
The religion was founded by Zarathushtra in Persia -- modern-day Iran. It may have been the world's first monotheistic faith. It was once the religion of the Persian empire, but has since been reduced in numbers to fewer than 200,000 today. Most religious historians believe the the Jewish, Christian and Muslim beliefs concerning God and Satan, the soul, heaven and hell, the virgin birth of the savior, slaughter of the innocents, resurrection, the final judgment, etc. were all derived from Zoroastrianism.

    Zoroastrian Beliefs:
    Beliefs include:

A single god Ahura Mazda who is supreme. Communication between Himself and humans is by a number of Attributes, called Amesha Spentas or Bounteous Immortals. Within the Gathas, the original Zoroastrian sacred text, these Immortals are sometimes described as concepts, and are sometimes personified.

One school of thought promotes a cosmic dualism between:
An all powerful God Ahura Mazda who is the only deity worthy of being worshipped, and
An evil spirit of violence and death, Angra Mainyu, who opposes Ahura Mazda.
The resulting cosmic conflict involves the entire universe, including humanity who is required to choose which to follow. Evil, and the Spirit of Evil, will be completely destroyed at the end of time. Dualism will come to an end and Goodness will be all in all.

Another school of thought perceives the battle between Good and Evil as an ethical dualism, set within the human consciousness.

Asha is a form of righteous, an all encompassing, natural law.

Legends, which are probably not those of Zarathushtra's original teachings are:
After death, a person's urvan (soul) is allowed three days to meditate on his/her past life. The soul is then judged by a troika Mithra, Sraosha and Rashnu. If the good thoughts, words and deeds outweigh the bad, then the soul is taken into heaven. Otherwise, the soul is led to hell.

The universe will go through a total of three eras:
    Creation;
    The present world where good and evil are mixed. People's good works are seen as gradually transforming the world towards its heavenly ideal;
A final state after this renovation when good and evil will be separated.
Eventually, everything will be purified. Even the occupants of hell will be released.

A Saoshyant (savior) will be born of a virgin, but of the lineage of the Prophet Zoroaster who will raise the dead and judge everyone in a final judgment.

All of this before Christianity and Judaism and Islam. Crazy huh.

It does for those who believe that.

And as for confession, there's more. The priest is supposed to have the power granted by God to forgive people of their sins. But just because you're forgiven doesn't mean that you're given a one way ticket to Heaven when you die. You still have to pay for those sins. That's where Purgatory comes in.

I'm not 100% sure on the details of it, but basically it cleanses your sins from your soul, allowing you to go into Heaven. The more sins and stuff there are to cleanse, the longer it takes.

Of course, if you've done a mortal sin that you've never gone to confession for, then you're supposed to go to Hell.

And yeah, all that stuff you said is kinda crazy.

    hahahahahahahaha.
Your "priest" isnt granted anything by god, only man. If "god" talked to a man he'd be considered a prophet. God grants no such power. Not now, not ever. Its fake.
And Purgatory isnt real either. I believe in karma, I believe we pay for our sins in this life, and maybe the next to.(reincarnation)

    And explain crazy?
