Who you guys I think got way off the debate, and jeeze, people Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins and that means everybody goes to heaven... actually one thing I should have brought up during confermation in Lutheran hand book thing they never did say the people who don't have christ in my heart, Sun needs to get here faster so we can debate this in the highschool chrch class. (where I live the school district I attend and the rival school district are rivals and both schools debate plus both school district students attend my church so we always dabate the people who don't go to neither always judge, my school always win, then again we have more academic classes that are more advance, my middle school is 3 with best score of PSSA (Pennsylvania State Standard Test) and my school district is like 43 of SAT's scores in the country(I believe it is according to my history teacher.

Anyway let's get back on the religion thing, then again I think the word of God won this. Looking through all these pages.

I'm with you all the way!

  3. Well I do beleive their is a hell, the bible clearly states that people who are not born again through christ will be go there. I beleive you have to accept Christ to eneter heaven, as that is the only way your sin can be forgiven.

Well not believing in God and christ is a sin, and Jesus died on the cross to forgive all a person's sin, believer or not. That's what the religion Lutheran is, and that's the way Martin Luther learned it and has found it to be.

  5. Then why does the bible say people who are not born again will have their place in the lake of fire?

That was written before Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins. Also Jesus said he forgives them all, he also screamed out when he died...

Forgive them father they're captive to sin

In other words they can't help it so just forgive them and accept them into heaven.

  7. The Holy Bible clearly says that Jesus said, "Forgive them father for they know not what they do." He was speaking to the ones that put him on the cross, not about all of humanity. In order to receive salvation one must admit that they are lost, accept Christ as their savior, and beleive he is the son of God. Thus their soul will be born again and they have the right to enter heaven. And Revelation says that people who do not accept christ will go to hell, it clearly gives and example of this. Those that follow the dragon, those that follow the anti christ will join him in the lake of fire.

What dragon? Well no actually I ended up seeing my pastoer at the mall and I asked her while I was waiting for the verizon guy to fix my phone. She said that Jesus forgives all sins and all captive to sin and welcomes them to heaven.

Plus what about people born to a family who does not worship and stuff, but that person is a good person and follows the rules and more with some kid stuff, like that one movie with the girl who was adopted and did not even baptize her.

All are forgiven acording to my pastoer who study the bible in more to make it her job. I don't know what religion you are, but that's what all us lutherans believe just like Chatholic people believe the pastor can't get married and have a family. Both of my churches pastors are married and one has 3 kids.

uNFAIRLY? by Atheists, who are primarly a minority. People need to realize that just because the liberalz on the TV tell everyone that evolution is corect doesn't mean EVERYONE believes it. Ands as a matter of fact, Christians are a minority when it comes to the actual count of people believing in the world religions. Hindu's and Buddhists have proably more, because thier are more people in the East. But more people with "power" in our world ARE Christian, which makes it seem like the majority of people on the earth believe in Christianity, but this is false. The only thing Twilight Keyblade's got going for him is that Christians aren't the majority of believerz in the world. But CHRISTIANITY hasn't be "persecuted" in like a few thousand years. And their is 1000000000000000X's more racism discrimination then there is religously, so don't you DARE give me any reason to "feel sorry for Christians, 'cause we're persecuted and everyone hates us", yeah, well they got some reasons for it. I used to be Christian, and life was "good". It was peaceful, I was the "good little christian boy". Whatever. Its a fake reality. Like I said, theres a lot more Racsism then religious discrimination. That is bull. sorry.

God condemns, thats what he does. If people could make a choice, wouldn't we all choose heaven? Then we'd not need a hell? So, would it be destroyed? God condemns those who ARE evil. Who are bad people. You can't take the righteousness out of god to make him sound mean, and force people into think Jesus is so great. Thats twisting and manipulating the truth. Christians are dogmatic, and as far as the other statement above this quote goes, most Christians are the onez "judging everbody".

Heaven is in a different realm. Paradise.

    Life is a bitch....

Yes, Curtis is on the right track. Don't be fooled into believing what otherz tell you, find the truth within your own life. Karma is the true god. Living a "good" life is what gets us to heaven.

He will be. Don't fool him.

    Good for you Curtis.

I don't agree with that. Keeping good with karma is the key.

    we all do.

washing yourself with blood, what are you a sacrifice? Doesn't that sound Satanic? death is gonna hurt, its not like if your a Christian its gonna feel like an orgasm. Your soul is stained by sin. good deedz wash them away, but some stains don't come out as easily.

  10. The great Red dragon A.K.A satan. The lord gives every single person a chance to accept christ, but if they refuse him then they chose their own destiny. Now if a baby dies or a younger child, or someone with a mental illness that can't understand things like salvation, then they will not go to hell because they never really had the chance to accept christ. kairi Star I myself have study the bible, i've been researching it for the past 3 years and I can surely say that Only those who accept christ or those who die without ever having the chance to accept christ, will enter heaven.

  11. 1. God does not condem, you either choose christ or you don't. If you deny christ you deny heaven.

    2. Christians are being treated bad, people are have taken prayer out of school, are trying to take "In God we Trust" out of the pledge.

    3. Wrong, Jesus's blood is a term used to describe Jesus's spirit which you must accept to have your sins forgiven. All you need to do is humble yourself before God and realise that you owe yourself to him, that you are the creation and he is the creator, you have commited sin and you must seek forgiveness. Then Beleive that christ is his son and you shall enter heaven.

1.That is the Christian view of the afterlife.
    2. That affetcs all religion, not just Christianity (duh). I hate the seperation of church and state, I think we need more of it. Liberalz are doing that to us, and it is godless foolishness. But also, the Founding Fathers weren't Christian, and they put that there. They were Masons, a fternal cult thats purose is to better a mans morals, and make everyone the best they can be.
Very secretive, but they have a great respect for god and geometry. They weren't Christian at all.
    3. What is blood? Its the fuel of the human body. So why would Jesus consider his blood spirit? That makes no sense. A lot of Christian "rituals" sort a speek are actually copied off of ancient Satanic Pagan rituals. Interesting facts eh? Baptism was started by Egyptians, Christmas and communion by Mithraism, and the afterlife sceem was copied off of Zoroastrianism.
Also, when you speek of Jesus dieing o the cross and dieing to whash our sins away, did you know that thee were over 40 other people with the name YSWH who were crucified in Jesuses time. Krishna is the Hindu's popular one. He died to take everyone's sins away. So, with all 40 of those others who claimed to be the "Annointed One", the savior of the world, and the "king of kings", so then who were they dieing for? Lets say its your ideal world, and everyone was Christian. Who did Krishna die for? Nothing? Nobody? What about all the others? Does there inoscent suffering and death mean nothing to you, or to anyone for that matter? My point with htis is, WHAT ABOUT THEM?

Actually all those point of views aren't just christian, it's mainly Catholic. Lutheran is a christianity religion yet we don't believe that. And the founding fathers were christianity, they never fought or worked on Sundays, or the sabath day, and they believe in God. My one friend at school was doing a huge power point on religion for English(He's really on top of religion, he has read the entire bible) anyway he read that our founding fathers were huge religious leaders. As is Thomas Jefferson while writing the Declaration used ideas from the bible.

Yeah, I know, I was a Lutheran until the end of 7th grade. The belief of Lutheranism is basically a watered down version of Catholosism.

THEY WERE A RELIGION!!!!! WOW!!!...jk, sorry, I know what you ment ^_^.
    That doesn't make you Christian.

Yes, they were. The Revolutionary war was a cover up for the Masonic Order and The Cathlic Churches' own religious wars. Many Popes dissappearenses and deaths in the last 1000 years have been secretly blames by the Masonic Order. But really, they weren't Christian. To be a Mason you HAVE to believe in God, and you have to go through a certain ritual. Just so you all know, I want to be a Mason one day. ^_^
And yes Thomas J (who is favorite FF) based some of the things in the Dec. off of the Bible. He also used the Koran, Talmud, and Gathas. Thats why every lodge was one of each of these books in it.

So have I. Its not that hard, a chapter a day. I've actually almost read it twice. ^_^
    I know my stuff.

  16. 1. It happens to be the correct view.
    2. Have'nt you noticed that since we started removing God out of government that this country has gone all to hell?
    3. It's not a literal term. Jesus was a perfect being. Due to a perfect being sacrificing his self for the sins of man. He paid our punishment for sin. The blood of christ refers to the blood that was spilled when he died on the cross. His blood for our blood. He took the punishment for sin, so we could jooin him in heaven. All one has to do now is Confess their sins, ask for forgiveness, and accept Christ as the son of God, and that will get you into heaven. Just be humble before God and realise that he is the one i command and Love him, like a child should love their father. For God loves humanity like his children.

    According to christians

I agree. Liberty is the key to a happy life, but order must be kept. delecate balance.
Some dadz are abusive.(just throwing that out there. Comparing God to a father is like comparing a TV dinner to a stuffed crust Lagusta pizza. Its a sone what bad comparison, but i KNOW WHAT YOUR GETTING AT. As far as the blood thing, we don't know. You can say that he didn't mean his actual blood, but he never said he didn't mean his actual blood.
