Powers?

As Novek had finished bandaging Nicole, he had gone back on the computer to check if he did it right. That's when he heard Tom speaking through a camera at the castle. "No way... where's a speaker function on this thing? Uh... oh! Wait! I could use the speakers in the phone next to him!" Novek quickly typed up something on the computer and the phone behind Tom began to ring.

 

Tom heard Leah scream. And at the same time he heard the phone ring. He picked it up. "Please say it's one of you guys back in New York. I'm gonna need your help. Where is the Throne Room? And, are there any guards nearby? They have wings."

 

"It's Novek." As he spoke, Novek was pulling up the other camera angles. "In the door to your left is a suit of armor. Grab the sword and shield cause you're gonna need a weapon. There's also a wireless phone so grab that so I can warn you of any bird things on your way." As Novek was giving instructions something caught hus eye. "Quick! Duck into the room! A couple birds comin' your way right now!" I feel like one of those people in the spy movies...

 

Tom grabbed the wireless phone and hung up the other phone. He quickly dived through the door, avoiding detection. He found the suit of armor and took the sword and shield. "Good thing I'm a quick learner. Gonna need to learn some fighting style quickly. Okay, where do I go from here?"

 

"Just wait a minute so the birds leave." As they waited Novek checked up on the fight between Leah and Sleif. I can't get audio there for some reason. Are thier powers interfering or something? "Ok the birds have left. I can't see any birds so go out and take a right. Head down the hall and take your fourth left. After that it's the large double doors on your left at the end of the hall. If I see any birds headed your way I'll whistle so keep the phone on and keep it with you."

 

"Okay." Tom said as he followed the path. After a few minutes of walking, he reached the doors. "I'm here." He tried to open the doors. They were sealed shut. "Does this place have some kind of security lock?" Tom asked Novek.

 

"Let me check." Novek began typing things up on the computer. "Uh... no. None that I can find. It's a regular door that locks like the doors to a house. Try ramming it or cutting it with the shield and sword respectively." As Novek told him that he began typing in various codes in an attempt to get the throne room audio to work.

 

Tom rammed against the door. It didn't even budge. "That isn't right. I hit it at the right angle and with the proper amout of force. That door should have busted open. Either there's something on the other side that is keeping it shut, or they have it sealed somehow. Dang... If only there was another way around." Tom thought about how to get through. He then remembered how he got in the castle in the first place. An idea popped in his head. "Novek. Do you have any idea on how I teleported here?"

 

"No. You just sort of vanished while taking care of Nicole. Oh, and thanks a lot by the way. I had to do it and I wasn't sure if I could. I'm still not sure if I did a good job. Anyways, try hacking the door down with your sword." Novek said while still typing furiously. I still can't get any audio. The system says the cameras audio is working fine, and every other camera can give me audio if I want. Why can't the throne room?

 

"If the audio isn't working, I have a feeling that I won't be able to cut the door open." Tom said, readying his weapon. He took a swing at the door. It looked as though it hit. But as the sword got half a millimeter away from the door, a force field stopped it. "Lemme think for a moment. I remember that before I teleported here, I was thinking about trying to reach Leah. I wanted to bend the space between New York and here, so I could basically walk here. If I try it again... I think I could do it again." Tom was thinking of someway to reach Leah. He thought about the Throne Room being moved so he was inside it. Nothing happened.

"Lemme in!" Tom yelled, banging the door. That was the final part. It was the last bit of him wanting to bend the space around him. He teleported away into the Throne Room.

 

Nicole layed on that couch. Her body weak and real pale from blood loss. However her finger began to twitch some. She was real weak but waking up. When she did she got the jolt of pain rushing down through her body from her injuries. She screamed in pain. She had her eyes shut tight but she couldn't control herself when her eyes opened up they glowed pink and slowly her body started o heal itself. She still had a lot of pain but when her eyes went back her body healed and her color began to come back. She leaned her against the back of the couch nreathing heavy. After a minute or to she got up and leaned against the couch and saw everyone minus Leah and Tom.

"What happened?" She asked holding her forehead.

 

"A lot, Leah went back once she knew you were safe, your parents are in the other room they don’t know your here yet. We hacked into the castles systems, Tom somehow managed to teleport himself there the rest watch for your self," Ruan said to Nicole in a calm,yet kind informative manner.

Suddenly the Security alarms in the house went off. "Crap, Leah’s protection over the apartment is to weak she’s spreading herself to thin.’Weapon rack' this could get interesting" Ruan walked into the next room the wall which previously were bare now were covered head to toe with every kind of weapon imaginable. Ruan had been collecting for a good few years now. ' When the government get around finding out about this place, it will be back underground for me. I should have enough time to bring me toys along. That is if I even make it out of here alive.'
Ruan smiled at his last thought. What a way to go if my time is now. Ruan grabbed a costumed M40A3, sniper rifle and a few flash grenades.

Novek,”Pull up the government’s page on New York, get a satellite visual on the apartment ASAP.” Ruan activated a defence program. ‘I don’t want to lose this place just got it the way I like it’
“Your powers will probably be a lot more affective then my weapons, they will probably only distract the creatures”

 

Nicole looked around and at the camera. She walked over. She grinned.

"There's an outlet there, if I short anything out, I don't want to hear you cry." Nicole said. She walked over to the outlet and put her hand flat against it her eyes going yellow. Soon the outlet in the front of the entrance blew out and bolts of electricty went at teh creatures making them die like getting hit with lightning. Nicole stood up.

"More will probaly show up unless you have some sort of grabage thing in the front entrance." Nicole said. Nicole stopped and looked over her shoulder at her father standing there.

"Nicole!" He exclaimed. Soon her mother got up and also looked them running over and hugging her.

 

Novek did as Ruan wanted and had the satellite zoom in so he could see clearly. "Oh, is that all?" he said sarcasticlly. There were creatures attacking the strange pink barrier surrounding the building. A few of the smaller creatures had slipped through. As Novek was about to speak, the ground shook. He typed up a few things to try and find the source. The ground shook again, harder than before. That's when Novek managed to get it on the satellites' camera. A massive golem made of dirt, stone, and whatever else it could find was making it's way to the barrier. "Uh, guys...." The other creatures ran back as the golem raised its fist. "Move!" Novek ran for cover with everyone else as the golem smashed the barrier and a large portion of the building.

 

Tom ran over to Sleif. Tom used the sword in his hands to stab Sleif. He stabbed him right in the neck, a spot that would surely kill somebody. He then ran over to Leah. "Are you alright? We should get back. But I can tell you're not in any condition to do so."
