"Leave it to the evil people to show somebody's true emotions." Tom chuckled to himself as Leah ran off. He stayed behind, trying to find some path for Aiden's energy to have gone. "Let's see... He's got a powerful magic shard. He's got Aiden's weakened spirit. And he wants us to follow him. Leah, at least. Aiden and I are expendable. Whatever, let's see if he can expend me or not." Tom teleported to Leah. He ran along side her. "Calm down. He's pulling your strings like a puppet."

 

Nicole was leaning against the rock gazing up at the night time sky as a cool breeze blew past her. She listened in on the breeze from the woods as it moved trees around and such. That's when the wind picked up on another sound. Heavy quick footsteps, as if someone was running real quick. She looked over at the cave entrance as it got louder and Joshua looked as well. Then Leah ran out. She had a look of sadness, confusion, concerned, and rage. "Leah!" She exclaimed. She looked over at Joshua and Tyro. "Come on!" She called. Nicole quickly ran after Leah and ran up to her. "Leah, what's wrong?" She asked when she glanced back at the other's and noticed Tom. That's when she remebered something.


Soon they came to the cave. Nicole looked inside the cave and went to walk in but was forced back. "What the?!" She exclaimed as she caught her balance. "What is this? I can't even get close to it." Nicole said. "There here, I have a feeling of that for sure." Nicole said. "Hold on!" Joshua said as he touched the cave entrance. "Ok your friends and another friend have been in here, and you're not from Yulenia, you're an Earth being with Yulenia powers chosen to protect Earth. That's why you can't go in." Joshua told her. "But what about-" Nicole started. "Maybe I can go in and get them." He said. Nicole shook his head. "It'll to be dangerous for you I think." Nicole told him. She stopped and then had an idea. She's always been able to hear people call for help in New York by the wind carrying the sound waves to her ears, maybe she can reverse it and call for them and have the wind carry it in. She smiled and backed up extending her hands. Wind started to blow around her and then all of it started blowing into the cave. "LEAH! AIDEN! ALEXIS! ANYONE IN THERE?!" She yelled into the wind as it travelled into the cave. She kept the wind going as Joshua stood there listening to it and smiled as he heard it eachoing through out the cave.

Leah took off back toward the edge of the cave and when she saw Nicole there it did bring a smile back to her troubled expression. "Nicole!" she said graceously. She gave her old friend a hug and noticed the child with her "I see you brought a friend along. Its nice to meet you." she nodded at him then looked back at Nicole "I'm sorry I cant stay and tell you why but I have to go back. There is something in there. Something important that Aiden and I have to find. Alexis is here too possibly wandering the outsides of these caves. If you find her she'll explain everything." She then turned around and went back into the cave to find Aiden.

Nicole remebered that Hope mentioned that Aiden was with them. So where was he now? She looked back at Leah. 'Did something happen in there?' She thought to herself when she finally asked, "Leah, where's Aiden?"

 

Alexis was wandering off in the cave. She suddenly saw a pathway leading to an opening passageway.
Alexis turned and walked off to that direction and she saw Nicole.
She was very happy. She ran quickly towards her.
"Hey Nicole!" she shouted as she was running towards her.
Then she noticed Leah was there too.
"So, how's the journey going?" Alexis asked.

 

"Wow..." Tom muttered to himself "That's a hell of a lotta things to say that quick." He shrugged it off and looked back at Leah. "Ironically, he has Aiden because I didn't kill Aiden. When you heard me talking out loud, I was talking to him. He wanted me to kill Aiden. I said no. And so he comes and grabs him away. And if you want to go chase after him, you've got about two seconds before Nicole comes to have a little chat."

 

"Thanks for the entry Tom." Nicole stated stopping some slightly behind. "Leah, you can definately count on me coming. There's something that may be a bit of a concern though and something I must ask. Do you know anything about some special shards?" Nicole asked her. "This guy, Tyro, I'm pretty positive Alex sent him to me. Earth is already being invaded by people from here, so something is definately up." Nicole told her. "I'm sure that guy is probably playing you, I have no doubt of that, but the question is, what is it? Is there any clue for what this guy could possibly want?" Nicole said. "I don't maybe anything he said to you?" Nicole asked Tom.

 

"We'll find out. But first we need to go find Aiden. Sorry to cut our little reunion short." Tom said. He flew into the air, picking up Leah as he passed her. "We'll be quicker by ourselves. Sorry! If you can, find another shard. We need them if we want this world and Earth to be safe!" Tom yelled back to Nicole. He turned his attention back to Leah. "I can barely feel Aiden's life force in that direction. You might want to hold your breath. The air up here is thinner than the ground and it gets pretty cold. It will take me a little bit to put up an air shield around you and keep you warm."

 

"He can sometimes annoy me, but whatever. We don't even have the slightest clue where to find these shards." Nicole said to herself. She turned to Joshua, Tyro, and Alexis. She glanced back up at the sky. "Oh who am I kidding." Nicole said before grabbing hold of the three and taking off into flight.

"Listen Tom, if you like it or not, we are a team. Plus I'd rather have a reunion with Aiden than go to his Funeral. you're going to need all of us, this new force isn't like before, it's stronger and we need to attack it togeather as a team. After all isn't that what Alex and probably Aiden as well want?" Nicole asked him as she soon caught up to the two.

 

"Well, we can also split up. You and Tom take that secret hidden way in. Tyro, Alexis, and Joshua can find another way in, and if needed I can make a distraction so you guys can sneek in and get out." Nicole told him. She looked ahead at the city. She then extended her hand out and stopped the group. She extended her hand as small water came out of her hand and a cloud formed enough to hide them and so they can see the city still.

"So how are we going to do this. I can create a huge fire, there's already a bunch of little fires everywhere. A bigger one though could cause a distraction and they wouldn't suspect a thing." Nicole said to them throwing the idea out there.

 

"I'm up for anything," Tyro said with excitement. A voice was heard in his ears but no figures or anything was shown up, it may just have been his head messing with him but who knows what it could have been. "Kid just shut up, it's not a game," So after he heard that, he looked back at Nicole and Joshua and followed them. "I think it be a great idea to split up then we can all meet eachother later but I'm afraid I don't wanna lose all you guys, your all friends. I would rather do this all together and not just a group of us."

 

Alexis nodded to what Leah said.
Then she looked at Nicole.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Alexis asked Nicole.
Then Alexis looked at Leah, "I hope for you and Tom to be safe as well." she told Leah.
"Let's go." she told the others.

 

nicole nodded in agreement with Alexis. She startedto run off and looked back at Tom and Leah. "Be careful." She told them before taking her group.

Nicole led them to the edge of the city and looked around at a few of the evil guards and even some evil civilians. It almost as if the whole captial was killed when it was good, and came back bad. "Now we need a way in." Nicole said. She glanced around and looked up at the castle up on the mountain. She can turn into air, but she can't turn the others and herself into thin air. She looked at them then remebered something she could do. Something she hasn't done in a long time, but did to escape many things the last time she was on the journey with the others. She signaled to the others to wait a moment when she dashed accross the street and his in an ally accross the street and looked down the road. She found what she was looking for, a storm drain. She could only hope that it would lead to the castle. She smiled and grinned and ran back over to the others. "Hold on to me." She told them as the bottom half of her body slowly began to transform into water.
