Powers? 2

OOC: Zero, you can catch up with my character, but our characters need to continue, so I'm going to go ahead and move along.

Nicole stopped and looked at the little boy and could see the concern, worried, and scared look in his eyes. She smiled. "Where are they, I'll help them out." Nicole told the boy and glanced back at the king. "Don't worry your majesty." She said in a whisper. She had a feeling though her friends all got out alive. She looked down at the little boy and smiled. "So where are your parents?" She asked him.

The little boy walked out of the castle and down the path stumbling some as Nicole would help him catch his balance. He finally stopped at a burned down house as he walked over to a wall still standing where two adults lied motionless. She crouched down and looked at them. "Please?" The little boy said to her. She could already tell that they looked dead. She leaned in on their chest though listening for a heart beat or breathing. She sat back up and shook her head. She looked at the boy looking at her. "Don't worry, they're fine... just not here..." She told the little boy afraid to tell him that his parents were dead.

 

"How in hell would she know I'm here?" Tom muttered to himself as he heard her call out for her. "Sheesh. Even I couldn't hear like that until recently." Tom moved his body towards Nicole's direction. "I'll meet up with you later. I'm going to follow some other people first." He yelled as loud as he could to her.

Tom then flew towards the three travelers, being sure to stay above them and out of their sight.

Tom heard one of the travelers say. He convienently heard them right after Leah said Alexis' name, so he wouldn't know who they were. "Hmm... I wonder if I'll be allowed in. Technically I am Yuleanian. Wonderful... More experimentation with my heritage. Now if I could just get in without being seen..." Tom thought as he slowly descended towards the cave, but to a spot where Leah's group couldn't see him.

 

Tom snuck into the caves. As he got to the entrance, he could feel some force holding him back. It surprised him at first, stopping him. But as he became more acquainted to the feeling, Tom could slowly get further and further in. The cave's magic was resisting his entry, but Tom was resisting the magic. "Come on come on come on." He kept muttering to himself as he went further and further into the cave. Because of his Yuleanian ancestry, the cave couldn't hold him back. All the time on Earth wouldn't change that.

 

OOC: Ok Zero we need to catch up, but I'm moving on, you can be with my character when you post back in, but I'm not going to control your character

The little boy looked at her and nodded understanding what she meant. He looked at her and smiled. "My name's Joshua." He said extending his hand. Nicole smiled as she extended her hand. "Nicole." She told him as she shook his hand. "You're looking for your friends, your world and this world is slowly falling apart from the darkness so you need to fight the forces of darkness." Joshua said. "Huh? How'd-" Nicole started surprised. "I have powers of reading and knowing stuff by touching things, like when I touched your hand to shake it, I knew why you were here." Joshua told her. Nicole looked at her hand in astonishment. "Wow, you can really do that?" She asked in astonishment. He stood up and nodded. "Yeah, in fact I think I saw your friends going accross the bridge. I think I heard them say something about going to see the elders. I think I heard about that though." He said. "Well then, Joshua, lead the way." Nicole told him as they headed out of the village and accross the bridge.

They walked for a long time and came to a huge large meadow. Nicole looked up at the sky now filled with stars of the night. Unlike Earth, the stars here shined brighter and seemed to dance in the sky. A few shooting stars passed by when she finally looked down. "Hey, looks like this grass has been flattened here by people stopping for a while." Joshua said. Nicole ran over to him and looked at the tall grass flattened down. Joshua bent down and touched the ground and closed his eyes. "It was them, they were here with this ghostly figure, I know that he was a hero and a great friend, probably one of your friends as well. From there they headed to the sacred cave. I know where it's at, I learned about it from reading and studying." Joshua explained. Nicole nodded and followed Joshua as he led the way.

Soon they came to the cave. Nicole looked inside the cave and went to walk in but was forced back. "What the?!" She exclaimed as she caught her balance. "What is this? I can't even get close to it." Nicole said. "There here, I have a feeling of that for sure." Nicole said. "Hold on!" Joshua said as he touched the cave entrance. "Ok your friends and another friend have been in here, and you're not from Yulenia, you're an Earth being with Yulenia powers chosen to protect Earth. That's why you can't go in." Joshua told her. "But what about-" Nicole started. "Maybe I can go in and get them." He said. Nicole shook his head. "It'll to be dangerous for you I think." Nicole told him. She stopped and then had an idea. She's always been able to hear people call for help in New York by the wind carrying the sound waves to her ears, maybe she can reverse it and call for them and have the wind carry it in. She smiled and backed up extending her hands. Wind started to blow around her and then all of it started blowing into the cave. "LEAH! AIDEN! ALEXIS! ANYONE IN THERE?!" She yelled into the wind as it travelled into the cave. She kept the wind going as Joshua stood there listening to it and smiled as he heard it eachoing through out the cave.

Tyro followed Nicole as the boy spoke to her. "Hello, Joshua I'm Nicole friend, and yeah I have powers too but for some reason when I tried to use it on this one guy it didn't work out I don't know what was wrong but its my pleasure to meet you and between nice powers, your really useful when we need you, so thanks for the help and lets shake!" Tyro took out his hand and they both shaked hands. Joshua smiled back at him. He stood up and looked at Nicole and Joshua, Joshua wanted to take us somewhere, so he followed behind nicole. "So shall we continue!" He said. Finally they made it to the cave but it was a no way in. Tyro sat down of a big rock. Hope her friends were in there and he would get too meet them for the first time. It was exciting for him but only if he, Nicole, Joshua could find them. He couldn't hear the sound of what she was saying so he couldn't do anything to help. He waited and waited.

 

Tom had to stop himself from laughing loudly from Aiden's comment. He covered his mouth and took a deep breath. He continued to follow Aiden in the shadows. It didn't matter to Tom if he was discovered or not. "He'll probably need my help soon anyways." He followed Aiden past the waterfall, but still remained in the shadows.

 

Nicole stood there and watched as Leah ran off. She crossed her arms and looked around. "There has to be some way in." She stated. She looked over at Tyro. "Well I guess we should probably go find the other human yulenian here." She stated. "So umm anyone see the girl on our way here?" Nicole asked as she flew up in the air to look around the surrounding area. She kept glancing around and saw nothing then she smiled. "Tyro!" She exclaimed. She landed on the ground and looked at him. "Do you think you can use your powers to recognize her location?" Nicole asked.

 

"Son of a...." Tom thought to himself. "I'm gonna kill Aiden if he doesn't toughen up." He walked out of the shadows to Leah and picked up Aiden, tossing Aiden onto his shoulder. "Yeah... I'm here. Look on in shock. You don't need to tell me what's going on. I already heard enough from Aiden talking and reading his mind. We should find that thing that'll save your kingdom."
