Pokemon: The Masters Challange (Actual RP)

"Glaceon!" Jace shouted as his pokemon was slammed straight back to his feet from the punch. He knelt down but saw that it wasn't going to get up anytime soon. "Good job there buddy. You're definately not going down in vain." Jac called Glaceon back to it's ball and then stood up. Psychic, Calm Mind, Focus Punch and outstanding speed. Definately a challenge. Normally I'd send out Absol in a heartbeat but with Focus Punch, that wouldn't be smart. So I guess... Yeah, he'll work. "Even in defeat, Glaceon helps. Evey fallen pokemon shows me what won't work and paves the way for what will. Like him!" Jace shouted as he tossed a new pokeball out. With a flash stood a Gallade. It raised its bladed arms and stood awaiting a command. "Night Slash!" Gallades right arm began to glow a deep purple as it ran forward at the Alakazam. Before it reached it though it leapt up, comingdown from above with it's energized arm.

 

As Alex called back his Alakazam, Jace grinned and pumped his fist into the air. "Yes, one hit ko! Beat that!" Jace immedieately regretted those words as the master sent out a flying pokemon. The Tailwind caused Jace to hold up his hands to his face to help cut down on the wind whipping past his face. And then came Brave Bird. Jace knew it was going to be fast, he just wasn't expecting how fast. He had no time to think, no time to plan, no time to really try and stop it. He just yelled the first thing that came to his mind. "Psycho cut!" His Gallade instantly reacted by charging it's blade arms again, but this time rather than charge in, it swung it's arms down sendingout twin waves of energy directly in the Staraptor's path.

 

"Crap!" Jace shouted as the bird ran through Gallade. His pokemon was easily knocked over and had an actual burn on its side from the speed of the Staraptor. "Come on Gallade, get up!" Jace shouted as the winds started to slow and die down. The fighting pokemon stuck one blade arm into the gound and used it to push itself to standing and battle ready. But Jace sighed, Gallade could still fight but it was pointless to have it even try to beat Staraptor. "I got a question!"Jace called out. "Are we allowed to make substitutions or can we only switch when the pokemon is defeated?"

"Got it. Return Gallade." Jace called Galade back with the standard red beam pokeballs emitted before placing on his belt and thinking over his options. An extremely fast Alakazam anda Staraptor that puts it to shame. I think it's safe to say this guy and his pokemon are bullets. Right now I'm dealing with this flyer that i could barly react to and didn't seem to do much anyways. Out of the six on my team, three are weak to flying and while type doesn't decide matches; playing a weakness isn't smart when one hit could mean defeat. Sucks cause that cuts out my strongest right there. Maybe I shouldn't focus on trying to out run him but rather focus on one single powerhouse hit. Take his pokemon with as little time as possible through sheer power. Not normally what I do but I can't see another choice. This being the case; my choice is simple.

Jace held up a pokeball but rather than throwing it out he just held it up and in a flash appeared his Electivire. "Ok buddy, you're not going to get through this without taking one extremely fast and strong hit. I need you to land one punch on that bird before it gets away from you. Can you do that?" His Electivire looked over to the Staraptor and the battlefield before it turned back to Jace and nodded. "Alrighty then. Attack with Thunder Punch!" Jace ordered. Both of Electivires fists became covered with electricity as it rushed forward to hit the flyer.

 

"Oh crap. Move Electivire!" Jace yelled as the electric type staggered to its feet. It took one look at the incoming attack and started to run. The attack started landing all around it as it ran to avoid getting hurt. Just as the meteors started to lighten up, Electivire fell from the injury cause by Brave Bird an the remaining meteors pummeled it into the ground. "Electivire!" As the smoke cleared Jace saw Electivire struggling to get up. Yeah you're still legal, but you need at least a little rest. "Return." Jace called out and Electivire vanished with a red glow. Jace then grabbed and threw out another pokeball without a second thought. "You may want to end this fast but I'm just getting started! Your up Absol!" In a flash the disaster pokemon appeared. "Ice Beam!" Jace yelled, not even waiting for any chance for Alex to react. Abosol whipped its head at the Flygon and shot out a blue beam towards the dragon.

 

Absol jumped aside as the Stne Edge hit, for as powerful as it was it was an easy attack to dodge. Good, theFlygon is down. Now for... Raichu. Jace though as Alex brought out his next pokemon. Jace grinnned, he had experience with Raichu's. He figured the battle should be easier than the rest. That was, until Raichu was right in front Absol. Jace barely even saw the Raichu move before the bright enrgy ball it held was smashed right into Absol's face. A small explosion and when the smoke cleared Raichu was standing triumphant as Absol was on the ground unconscious. Jace returned Absol and laughed.

"As hard as this is, I must admit; I've never had this much fun. As it is now, I wouldn't care if I never got past you. But if your this strong, the that means I'll have even more fun with the other masters. So I'm going to go all out right now with my first, and very best, pokemon." Jace said as he grabbed a pokeball and spun it on his finger. Jace tossed it straight into the air before catching it and throwing it out to the field. "Let's finish this! Venusaur!" Jace shouted as the ball opened and sent out the massive grass pokemon. Venusaur let out a roar as Jace caught the ball and grinned. "Say goodbye to Raichu. Earthquake!" Venusaur itself grinned as it jumped up and came down, shaking the entire battlefield fromits weight colliding with the ground.

 

"Not a chance! Return!" Jace shouted as Venusaur vanished. "You really think I was gonn let that happen so fast? I planned on switching out Venusaur as soon as Raichu was down. Eery time I knock out someone, not only do you bring out someone stronger but perfectly suited to take out the one I just used. So this time, I wasn't going to let that happen. Time for a repeat, go Elecetivire." Jace shouted as he sent out his pokemon. Electivere appeared panting but kept a firm eye on it's target. Outside of a select few pokemon, Yanmega is one of the fastest in the world. Which means either his last is one of those select few or just happens to be a little slower than this bug. Venusaur is unharmed and I still have one more pokemon he hasn't seen. Gallade is really hurt and so is Electivire here but all I need them to do right now is help me get a feel for this bug. "Fire punch." Jace called out. Electivire's fist became covered in flames as it charged in to punch.

 

"Quick, use the Fire Punch on the Shadow Ball!" Electivire did as it was ordered and punched the black ball as it flew at it. The result was an explosion that shoved Electivire back to Jace's feet. Jace calmly returned Electivire as he thought about what to do. I forgot about that. He's right, just cause Gallade is still legal doesn't mean it's not in danger. If I hadn't told Electivire to do that, it might've been... I can't use Gallade again, it's too dangerous. Meaning it's two on two. Guess I'll just use my last pokemon and save Venusaur for the other. "Go, Vespiquen!" Jace shouted as he threw out another ball. In a flash the hive pokemon appeared and stayed floating. "The fastest bug type versus the queen, this should be interesting. Power Gem!" The red gem on Vespiquen's head began to glow before it shot out beams of light.

 

Vespiquen fell asleep just before the attack hit. The queen insect was blasted to the ground and it stayed there, still stuck in it's forced slumber. "Vespiquen wake up! Vespiquen!" Jace shouted but the bug still didn't wake up or show any sins that Jace's voice had reached it. Jace fell down to his knees as he stared at his pokemon. "Vespiquen, please. Wake up." Jace said weakly. He knew just from his own view that his Venusaur would be able to defeat the Yanmega, but it would be a long and hard fight and Alex still had another pokemon. Gallade was too injured for him to risk using it and his other pokemon were all knocked out. HIs only chance of victory was if Vespiquen could defeat the other insect. Jace slammed his fist on the ground."Vespiquen!"
