Pokemon Battle Tower RP

Will stepped into the elevator and hit a down button. He grinned at his Pikachu, trying not to be so nervous. "We'll be fine." He told his Pikachu. "Plus we have Charizard." He grinned. Pikachu nodded and smiled, jumping onto his shoulder as the elevator dinged to let someone else on.

 

>I didn't Ko it, just knocked it over. But it was kinda over anyways, cause you can't run on ice.<
"Thanks, i was glad we had this battle. Oh, shows over Aurora." He pulled out a premier ball, and called her back. He noticed the scar, but decided not to comment. Poor guy musta been through a lot. Man that was close. He'll never know it, but if i hadn't used that trick i woulda gotten thrashed. Out loud he said, "Do you think the managers are gonna be mad at me for this?" He gestured at the battle field, walls, and everything else. All of it was covered in ice.

 

Stevie then heard the announcement again. "This is Professor Gary Oak. All of you have to be down on the 18th floor in 10 minutes so that we'll get ready to tell you a whole lot of great & wonderful things that you'll do here." Stevie stopped crying & togepi did too. "Well, come on Togepi & Chikorita. Let's go & show everyone taht we can make it here." They hurried to the elevator & stepped in it...

 

Alister called back Toxin and vigor and headed toward the elevator. He pushed the orange button to call the elevator and then turned to wave at Ben and Cael. "You guys better hurry up I think we only have about eight minutes left. By the way good match!" Alister ran into the elevator hastily and then pushed the button with an eighteen on its surface. The elevator's metallic door slid closed and then it eased down the tower making it's way to the eighteenth floor.

The doors slid open and there stood the renowned Professor Gary Oak. He smiled and then held out his hands revealing a Net Ball and a Luxury Ball. Crawdaunt appeared from the Net Ball and Toxicroak from the other. "Hello Professor" Alister waved.

 

"Just gotta clean up. Umm, er. Ah! Dance Flame, Flame Thrower!" Ninetails appeared, and showered the ice. First it melted, then evaporated. Soon the room was dry again. "Cease." Ninetails stopped. "Great job." He lifted up the poke'ball, and walked towards the elevators. He rode it down, then met with Proffesor Oak. "Well, Its been a while. How you been Gary? Not slacking now that your a prof are you?" Ben asked, extending his hand. Gary smiled and took it. "It's great to see you Cross. But wow, look at you! Up for gym leader, your mom must be proud." "I'm up for leader?" Ben asked in disbelief. Gary looked puzzled. "You haven't heard? Blain is stepping down, so the poke'mon league is thinking of making you leader." Ben looked stunned. Then he grinned. "Wow, i know some ones going to be pissed." He looked at Alister. "Oh, umm. Hey Alistor. Gary's an old friend of mine."

 

Will stepped off the elevator and Pikachu rushed off his shoulder, calling loudly. It ran up to Professor Oak and smiled. He smiled and said. "I know this Pikachu. Will, hello!" He said. Will grinned and ran over. Oak laughed. "How far have you made it?" He asked. Will shrugged. "I stepped into Sunnyshore for a bite to eat and to rest my pokemon when I got the invite. I was headed to the next gym." He said. Oak smiled. "Good. Your father must be proud that you are following the same path as him." Will nodded. "Yeah. Actually I should contact him after this contest here." He said. Oak nodded and turned back to Ben.

 

OOC: Yeah, but Sheer Cold is a one-hit KO move, if it hits, that is.

IC: Cael sighed in relief, and looked at Regidor. "Come on, let's get Jerome healed and head to the 18th floor." Cael headed for the Pokemon Center, and quickly ran in. In just a couple of minutes, he was back out again with Jerome and Regidor. He got into an elevator and headed for the 18th floor. As the elevator went up, the scar on his eye was beginning to pulse maddeningly. He shook his head until it stopped, but it still hurt. His Pokemon just gave him a worried glance. "I'm fine, just nervous, that's all." The elevator finally reached its destination, and Cael walked out to run into Professor Oak, Will, and Ben. "Hi."

 

>I said it was slow. I used the move to freeze the floor, so your guy couldn't move. It lowers tempature, so i got the floor wet and made it icy. It wasn't meant to hit, i'm not THAT cheap. But, your guy would have lost anyways i guess, cause Walrein had better movement while yours was restricted.<
Ben smiled at Will. "I get the feeling i know who you are. Your dads the talk of the Indigo League, after he went back and won it. Your a Ketchum aren't you? That would explain the high level pikachu. I was wondering why you didn't evolve it." Ben laughed. The competition was indeed fierce. And he had a lot to look forward to.

 

"Well Will, It's nice to meet you." He held out his hand to shake Will's. He then looked at Ben and nodded his head in response to his earlier statement. "Well then I was right to think that your a tough opponent Ben, leader of a gym I mean that's a big deal." Alister laughed happily and then turned back to Will.

"Well Will, I hope your as good as your father." Alister seemed happy but then his tone lowered and he became sharp tounged. "Because I won't even attempt to go easy on you, not even at the slightest hint of insecurity or a lack of confidence..." Alister stopped and then returned to his happy tone. "uh, so yeah ummm...lots of confidence and winning and happy stuff, heh heh..." He lowered his head in embarassment.

"So...uh I guess we're waiting for the others?" He asked quietly.

 

OOC: Yeah, you're right.

IC:
"Yeah, that's what we do, I guess. So, you're the son of the great Ash Ketchum?" Cael asked, looking Will up and down. He did look much like his father. Cael wondered if he had the same strength and dreams. Most likely. Cael held out his hand. "Name's Cael Lataos, pleased to meet you."

 

Will shook all their hands and grinned. "I plan to enter the indigo league as one of the elite four one day. But first I plan to beat all the leagues." He explained. The Pikachu went to each of the trainers, shaking their hands. It then grinned and jumped onto Will's shoulder. "Your a strange one..." He said to the Pikachu, which smiled and said "Pika!"

 

After relaxing some Nicole got ready. She had stocked up on potions and many more items. She fed both dragonite and Star pokeblock, poke food, and some berries so they'd be energized. She brushed herself up and made herself look like a powerful profesional trainer, more so a champion, she was a champpion for two regions. She had her two bade cases in her small bag she grabbed.

"Ready you two?" Nicole said. They both answered with their call. All three of them headed down the hall to the elevator stepping in, they went down the elevator and the door opened nice and calm and heads held high Nicole, Dragonite, and Star stepped out of the elevator. They got in line. Nicole picked up star and held her. Dragonite stood next to Nicole like a body guard to a political leader.

 

"It's nice to meet you too." Cael said, shaking Pikachu's hand (er, or is it a paw? Whatever.) Regidor and Jerome both did little trilling noises to show they're greetings. Cael smiled, and then looked at the professor. He wondered if he knew him. "Are you Professor Oak?"

 

Stevie then stepped out of the elevator smiling. He then saw the owner of the Battle Tower, teachers, & Professor Gary Oak. Stevie then started to smile. Professor then started to speak. "WELCOME, TO THIS WONDERFUL TALL BEAUTY OF BATTLES & WARRING!! LET US FIRST INTRODUCE TO THE OWNER OF THIS BATTLE TOWER, MR. (what's his name again?)!!"

(Uh, Overlord. Since you've talked about the owner of the battle tower, will you be in control of him?)

 

"Later Gary, i got a little training to do." Ben said. "Ok, later." He turned to the others as they clambered around him. He got in the elevator, and went down to the bottom floor. He walked out side, then called out his Poke'mon. "You guys may have to work as a team. So you need some training with each other as partners." Flame and Aurora nodded. "I took the liberty of letting a few wild ones out here. Your goal is to take them down. Good luck." Suddenly a scyther and a raichu jumped out of the bushes. "Theres your first target. Fight alone." Aurora and Flame looked at each other, then set to them. Flame let out a flame thrower, but it melted Aurora's ice beam. Raichu ended up frying Aurora, while Scyther sliced at Flame. They landed in a heap. Ben sighed. "Hopeless. Ok, i'll give you a hand so you know how to work together. Flame, Ripost with flame thrower. Aurora, use Water pulse. Don't mingle your attacks." They complied happily, flooding both the poke'mon. "Get it now?" They nodded. "Ok, have fun." He walked off, leaving them to fight it out.

The owner of the battle tower was smiling with a warm aura. "Welcome everyone to this glorious tower! Here, this is where all of you unleash your inner talents! First off, there will be some classes here that will teach you some unique tactics. You will also will be making friends & rivals alike here..."

 

Cael had arrived just in time. The others, as usual, had left him, but what did he care? As he and his Pokemon entered, his scar still kept pulsing. What was up with that? He didn't see any signs of them anywhere... Cael had walked in just as the owner of the Battle Tower was beginning to speak. when he paused after saying something about making friends and rivals alike, Cael answered, "Yeah, we've kind of figured that out. Not meaning to be rude."

 

Ben decided that his poke'mon were done. He called them back, but flinched when he heard a familiar voice behind him. "Hey, wimp." Ben whirled to confront Rail. "Dang it. Watch who you call a wimp. I'm a gym leader now, i just got the message." "Yes." Rail began pacing. "What is this world coming to? How could a wimp like you even be considered for leadership. They picked wrong." Rail stopped pacing, and smiled. "I say we test if they were right. I'll let you get another fire type, i want battle you as a leader." "I just so happen to have another fire on me. You are a major fool, I got a lot stronger during my time on the volcanoes." "Heh, lets see you burn bright then. Raichu, fry him!" His raichu popped out, flexing its arms. "Wow, tough little thing isn't he? Fine, I'll show you how bright i burn. Let the world see our light. Dance... Charizard." Charizard appeared, and it was huge! It could tower over a normal charizard, and it was built way tough. Raichu was tiny compared to him. "Were..Were did you get that thing?" Rail asked, shocked that Ben could have such a strong looking Poke'mon." "The Charific valley. It's famous for its super strong Charizards. Go, Fly then use fire spin to surround Raichu." Charizard roared, then spread its wings. The gusts it kicked up with each flap of its mighty wings buffeted Raichu, keeping it flat. "Raichu, use double edge!" Rail shouted. But it was no use, Raichu couldn't move or it would be blown away. Chariard gained altitiude, then unleashed a powerful fire spin. Raichu was trapped. It looked up in fear. "You were a fool to look down on me. Flame thrower." Raichu had know where to run, and took it head on. When the smoke cleared, Raichu was knocked out. "Thats it for him. Lets see your other poke'mon do better. Cease Charizard, act 1 is over." He called it back, and waited for Rails next move.
