Pokemon Battle Tower RP

Togepi's arms & legs was hurting real bad, but he was still determined to go on. "COME ON TOGEPI! USE METRONOME & CALM DOWN!!" Togepi closed his eyes & was moving his arms back & forth. Before he know it, he had a milk glass in front of him. He was pleased & drank it. After Togepi got done, he was happy & was all energetic again. "THAT'S IT TOGEPI!! Uh, was that was milk drink? THAT'S GREAT!"

 

"So Nicole must be-yeah thats it, Nicole is Volkners daughter, I can tell by the look in his eyes." He pointed out. He peered to his left where the elevator was located and he noticed Dimitri had arrived on the training field. He sighed "Finally he appears....out of nowhere....like usual...". He left Ben's side realizing that he had abandoned an answer for his obviously asked question. He walked over to Dimitri as he stepped out of the elevator. "Hey Dimitri, I'm glad you made it." at that moment Toxin and vigor noticed Dimitri as well and came over to him happily.

Stevie had been trying hard to win. "Good job! Keep it up!" alister felt entitled to boost Stevies spirits.

 

Ben walked along with Alister. "I'm Benjamin Cross, member of the Cinnabar gym." He thought vaguely that he should change his intro. To big headed, like he was trying to be better than everyone else. Ah well, best reserve it for later. "That Togepi has the luck of the irish. I need to teach that kid some techniques so he doesn't need to rely so heavily on metronome." Ben sighed. He sucked at games of chance, so it galled him the Stevie was so good at them.

 

Alister listened respectfully as Ben stated his title. He was impressed that he was talking with a gym member. Hey smiled even though Ben probably couldn't see his face very well. "Well then I guess I should watch for you then hunh?" He laughed a little and then responded to the topic.

"He does seem to rely on that fact on a regular basis." Alister turned to him after talking to Dimitri. "You fought him didn't you? I wasn't there but I heard he was very lucky." Alister awaited a response.

 

Cael rested for a few minutes, and ran all that had happened through his mind. He'd made a few possible friends, no signs of Team Galactic. So far, so good. With a large sigh, Cael stood up and motioned for hie Pokemon to follow him. "Let's go find our friends, shall we?" They both nodded in agreement. He stepped into the elevator, and pressed the smae orange button the others had pressed. As Cael stepped out, he noticed that the others were already there, making small talk. "Hey, what's going on here?"

Nicole just shook her head.

"Pichu end this." Nicole said. Pichu began running forward. "Thunder shock!"Nicole called. The attack hit and was a finishing move. Nicole sighed. 'dad has hot his worked out for him. This wasn't even my strongest, it was pretty easy. I still need to work out a good battle plan for pichu.' Nicole thought to herself. Volknar applauded and walked into the field.

"Victory goes to Nicole, you did pretty well however this is the battle tower, togepi can be lo'd easily. So before battling takes place I want you to bring both of your pokemon to my room." VOlknar said.

 

Alister paused looking at Dimitri. "Well you havn't missed much, Nicole and Stevie were in the process of battling thats about it." He looked back at Ben and then over at the battle. He felt sorry for Stevie, he really didn't think that he would make it far.

"He wont get far if he doesn't improve, but I know he can do it after all its what I did." All this time Alioster himself had wanted to battle but he might as well have waited a little longer if he'd been waiting for a while to begin with.

 

"Agreed. He has a lot of potential. I saw that when i battled him. But he's got a long way to go. I still don't know how he got an invite. During my battle i saw potential, but nothing that qualifies him to be here. Unless Volkner wanted him here for a reason." Ben leaned against the wall. "Well, since those guys are clearing the field, anyone up for a match?"

 

"I'd be glad to challenge you." Cael answered as he walked over to the group. Regidor and Jerome were smiling in a friendly but yet confident way. Even though he was still worn out from the battle a few dyas before he recieved his invite, Cael felt ready. Besides, he had to test the trainer's strength, just to see what he was up against. He was confident, and he was ready.

 

"Well, i'm glad someone's brave enough." Ben said with a grin. At last, a REAL battle. He walked out to the other side of the battle field. "Battle tower rules, 1 on 1 elimination. No change outs, or items. Good luck to you." He throw a ball. "Don't let me down. Dance Aurora!" Walrein appeared with a loud rawr. She slapped the ground with her flippers. "Wow, your riled up."

 

Togepi had then fainted from too much damage from the explosion & thunderbolt. Stevie picked up his fainted Togepi that was hurt real bad from the thunderbolt . "Man. That just had to be that attack. Oh well. you did real good doing those spins. Come on. I need to take you to the pokemon center that's on the 6th floor real quick before they call all of us on the 18th floor.

There was then a announcement. "Hello everyone! This is Professor Gary Oak. I want all of the students down on the 18th floor in 45 minutes." Stevie was then relieved. "Come on Chikorita. Let's hurry & thank you for the battle Nicole. It's also nice to meet you too Mr. Volknar sir. Sorry Volkner, but I can't come to your room. Togepi & Chikorita still has a chance to win. Besides..." Stevie then smiled to Nicole & the others. "Even a novice can do anything & a chance to make it here in the battle tower. Take care Nicole & Mr. Volkner." Stevie & Chikorita ran to the elevator to hurry on up...

Cael smiled. "A Walrein, huh? Alright then, Jerome, unleash your darkside, go!" His Umbreon did its battle cry and jumped into the field. "You ready? Alright, Jerome, Dark Pulse, now!" Jerome lifted his head, and then let his head down, letting out a black pulse of energy that headed towards Aurora.

 

Not a bad choice. This could go bad, shoulda use flame. "Aurora use hydro pump on that attack!" Walrein yelled as it released the attack, barely managing to stop the Dark pulse. "Good, now for a pulse of your own, Water pulse." By now water was getting ever were. Just a bit more. Hang in there.

 

Nicole watched him leave. She looked at pichu and smiled.

"Good job, return." Nicole said as Pichu returned to his pokeball. Nicole looked at the pokeball and Volknar walked over next to her.

"He's not going to last long." Volknar said. Nicole nodded.

"Star can defeat him in one attack. Pichu was weak, it was his first major battle. Star can aniliate him. Plus I won't be holding back." Nicole said. She gave her ftaherp ichu's pokeball and headed torwards the elevator. She headed down the elevator and went to her room. Star was there and looked at her.

 

Jerome easily dodged, and looked back at Cael for orders. Frankly, he had no idea what to do. Cael felt the scar on his eye, but shook his head. Now was not the time to worry about if it was visible or not. "Jerome, Shadow Ball, go!" Jerome nodded, and turned its head back to the field. Jerome then leaped into the air, and with a little turn of its body, let lose a large ball of darkness.

 

"Bout time we tried this Aurora. Dodge it, then use Sheer Cold." Walrein pushed off, sliding on the water from the water pulse attack. Umbreon seemed to realize that landing would be interesting. Walrein roared, and the temperature took a dive. Umbreon hit the floor, now covered in ice, and collapsed. "Ata girl Aurora!" Ben yelled, pumping his fist.

 

Stevie was in the pokemon center & heard an announcement. "THis is Professor Gary Oak. All of you need to be down on the 18th floor in 20 minutes." Stevie was waiting & saw a Nurse Joy coming out with a smiling Togepi. "Here you go! That was a quick healing process. He's sure is a tough little ball." Stevie was relieved. "Thanks."

Togepi was getting tired of the soothe bell & took it off of him. Stevie was shocked. "Togepi!! Why did you do that?!" Togepi threw the soothe bell at the wall & it cracked. Stevie was getting upset. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! THAT'S A GIFT FROM NICOLE!!" Togepi had tears in his eyes & didn't want no soothe bell to have a better friendship & started to cry. Stevie then saw what Togepi meant & he was in tears too along with Chikorita. "Oh Togepi..."

 

Jerome seemed to smile before he fainted to the ground. Cael took out his pokeball. "Jerome, you did great, return!" He sighed, but shook his head. Cael was not upset about he defeat. At least he knew what he was up against now. He went over to Ben and held out his hand. "It might have been short, but that was a great battle. You and your Walrein are looking great." Cael blinked, trying to ignore the odd pulsing sensation coming from his scar. He knew it was visible, but what did he care?
