Pokemon Battle Tower RP

"Ah this is what i love. Nice and simple. Just like a nice hotel." Before him was a simple room. It had a twin sized bed, a dresser with a tv, and a balcony outside. There was a small but well equipped kitchen to the side of the room. It included a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and a toaster. The kitchen had two small brown cupboards and a white tiled floor. The main room had a blue carpet, and the bed had a red comforter on it. Upon farther investigation, he found a poke block maker and the bathroom. "Yep, i could live in this place." He pulled out some berries, let his poke'mon out, and began making poke block. "Just some desert for your meal later." He said to them.

 

Stevie then was impress & walked up to the receptionist. "My name is Stevie Hikari. Nice to meet you." Stevie showed her his I.D. The receptionist looked it up & was shocked. "we did send you a invite, but, I can't believe such a novice came here. Let me show you to the owner of this tower please." Stevie was then confuse as he had Togepi in his hands & Chikorita standing right besides him. "What's going on?" The receptionist wasn't worried. "Come here please, son of the grewat Dawn Hikari & grandson of Johanna Hikari. Nothing to worry about." The receptionist had someone to take her place for her while she showed Stevie the way...

 

OOC: You know technically Dawn really isn't that famous, May was, not Dawn. Plus your starting to make your character better then everyone else when you made it week. for example Will would be more famous because he's Ash's son except the recptionist wasn't "Omg! It's Ash's son!" SHe was calm.

IC::

"Well I'm heading to my room." Nicole said. she walked in the elevator and hit 4. The elevator started going up. she got off her floor right away she could tell was fancy. She headed to her room. It was modern a small kitchen with an island and bar stools and small table. She saw a nice size couch pokeblack mixer and flat screen then turned to see the door into a big size bathroom then went to her bed and she had a surprise.

"Dad!?" Nicole exclaimed.

"Hey kiddo, I decided to come and watch you battle." Nicole's father, gym leader of sunnyshore said.

 

( I made her calm. You need to reread it again. ("Come here please, son of the great Dawn Hikari & grandson of Johanna Hikari. Nothing to worry about.") She was calm about that. I wasn't making my character better than anyone & Dawn is famous in Pokemon Contests only. I didn't made the receptionist go overboard & I made sure not to do that. My character is almost as famous for being Dawn's son as Will is being Ash's son, but I still didn't go overboard on it because I wasn't interested in famoustivity in this rp.)

Stevie followed her to a big, long staricase & went on up to the 2nd floor & took the elevator all the way up to the 30th floor. Stevie was worried in his mind. "Oh man. I hope I didn't come here in vain. If I did, oh well. At least I can go back & do what I was doing. I'll make my mother proud regardless." THey got off the elevator & went on to a big brown door. They opened it to see someone who was a professor.

"Hello Professor Gary Oak. This is Stevie." Stevie was shocked. "Y... Professor Gary Oak?! The grandson of the late Professor Oak?! Oh man. My mother told me all about you & your famous poetry." Professor Gary Oak smiled. "IT's all good. Don't worry. Thank you for bringing him up here. I'm going down to floor 18 down to make all of the students to be down there in about 30 minutes. YOu can go back down now."

Stevie was wondering. "Are you the owner of this battle tower?" Gary Oak laughed. "Nah. I'm not. She just brought you up here instead of going higher up, but anyways, I'm real interested in you." Stevie was wondering why he was as he looked at the maps of the Pokemon regions. "Why are you interested in a trainer like me? I'm only a novice." Professor Oak was then gotten compassioned about it. "It's becuase that Roark, the supervisor of the Oreburgh Mines & the gym battle leader, told me about you. You see, he past away of a natural death a few days ago. He sent a letter to me about how much your Togepi withstood all 3 of his pokemons. That was real impressive of you. No novice trainer ever did have a pokemon in pokemon history to withstand all 3 of a gym battle leader's pokemon. Not only that, he told me of you only having one pokemon to fight with, that's something."

Stevie was wondering. "But I shouldn't be..." Professor Gary stopped him. "You is the only novice to be here. We accepted you because of these things that Roark told me:

1: Your Togepi is so determined & have so much spirit fighting in him.
2: This is not because you is Dawn's son, but this is based on the strength & friendship between you & Togepi.
3: You showed how much talent you & Togepi have against Roark & won the gym badge all with just one & the first, only pokemon that was with you, which to almost everyone, is impossible."

Stevie looked at Togepi playing with a ball while Chikorita was looking & was interested in a Bansai tree. Gary went up to Stevie. "Don't think that just because you've just started out doesn't mean you don't have a chance to make it here. You showed the Roark that even a novice can do anything." Stevie smiled & had the same overconfidence as Dawn. "Don't worry. I won't fail." Professor Gary smiled. "Now run along now. I need to be on floor 18 & to have you & all the other 316 students down there in 25 minutes. YOur room is on floor 13.

Stevie smiled as he picked up Togepi & Chikorita & hurried back to the elevator & took the key from Gary Oak to go to his room to prepare himself...

 

Alister smiled and then followed up with sigh. "I'd love to battle you, as soon as we leave the ship that is." He tapped Toxin and Vigor on the shoulders as he motioned them towards the exit. "We'll battle later after I get checked in and everything, I'm Alister by the way it was nice to meet you." He ran off of the boat and eventually made his way into the Battle Tower and up to the Registration Desk.

"Hi um Alister, Alister Corrigan, I recieved an invite for the Battle Tower." He spoke to the receptionist.

"Yes here you are, Alister Corrigan, your registering with a Toxicroak and a Crawdaunt? Also I need to see your trainer card."

"Yes thats right." He said as he held out his trainer card. It was silver with purple lettering and borders and had a picture of a croagunk on it, croagunk being Alisters first pokemon.

"Your room is on the first floor the 6th one on the right."

Alister took the key and eventually made his way to his room. It was simple with one bed, a coffee maker, a side table with a lamp, a clock, a bathroom, and a TV. "I hope Dimitri got off of the boat...he always gets into trouble somehow."

 

Cael chuckled and went int the same direction. He pulled out his trainer card as he approached the desk. "Cael Lataos. I was invited as well." The receptionist looked down a list, and stopped at one name and nodded.
"Yes, here you are. You have an Umbreon and a Mightyena?"
Cael nodded. "Yes ma'am."
"Your room is on floor 5, first room on the right." She handed him the keys.
"Thanks." Cael and his Pokemon traveled up the first four floors in the elevator. Regidor and Jerome were sitting on either side of him, patien but yet alert. When the elevator reached the fifth floor, Cael walked out and immediatley found his room. He unlocked the door and walked in. It was the same as the other rooms. Simple but yet had a cozy feeling. His two dark Pokemon relaxed and jumped on the bed, play fighting like they always did. As he walked by the TV, Cael had an odd feeling, like it was staring at him. He looked over at it, but nothing was there. He shook his head and walked on. "Calm down Cael, you're thinking too much." he mumbled to himself.

 

Ben had finished the poke'blocks so he was taking a tour of the battle tower. He had a battle tower map for his poke gear so he was fine. "Lets see, battle rooms are that way. Game room is that a way. Umm, were are the lounge rooms at? No, were are the dining halls? Oh man i think i'm lost." He was in a unfamiliar part of the tower, not that much of it was familiar to begin with. "Guess i should find the elevators. I can go down the first floor and i'll be fine then." He ended up outside of the tower, in a spacious garden. A few butterfree and beutifly were pollinating the plants. Several little ratata were running through the bushes while a trio of pikachu held a pow wow under a large tree eating apples. "Well, this is nice." The poke'mon looked at him, than ran for it. "Or not."

 

Cael enterd his bathroom, which was big enough for him. He went over to the sink and splashed some cold water on his face. He took the towel and dried himself off. After the water, a faint scar was almost noticable on his face. It went diagonally across his left eye, and he shuddered at the memories. Easily shaking them away, Cael went over to the bed where Regidor and Jerome were and lay down next to them. A room like this was the only place where his scar could be visible.

 

"Dad, it's great to see you, but you got gym battles to be attending." Nicole said.

"Actually got this a while back, forgot about it till I was reminded about and I flew here then. I'm surpose to train someone to become a powerful pokemon trainer. Do you know a Stevie Hikari?" Nicole's father, Volkner said.

"Stevie, man I don't even know how he got here. He won't tell no one. He's pretty weak as well, determined but weak." Nicole said.

"Nicole, what do I tell you..." Volkner said.

"Never judge a trainer by their pokemon." Nicole said.

"Exactly come on, let's go find this kid." Volkner said. Volkner called the front desk and tossed Nicole a pokeball.

"That was the weakest pokemon I could find of yours in the computer, I want you to use it just on Stevie." Volkner said. Nicole had the pokemon appear to be a small pichu she was in the middle of training. It was on level 16, it would evolving soon. The pichu did it's little call and leaped into Nicole's arms.

"Star you go ahead and chill here, ok?" Nicole said to her eevee. Star nodded and jumped up on teh couch and laid down. Nicole followed her father downstairs.

They went to Stevie's room and knocked on the door. Pichu tilt his head in curiosity.

Stevie came out of the room & was so glad to see Nicole. "HEY NICOLE! COME ON IN!" Stevie grabbed Nicole & in his room, was even bigger than her room. It had 3 beds, 2 living rooms, a dining room, & 3 bathrooms, & 2 big T.V.'s. "HI! What makes you come here on this wonderful occassion?!" Togepi & Chikorita was jumping up & down on the bed, as they pretended to do karate moves...

Edit: Be careful Star that I can only have 2 pokemons.

 

OOC: You realise mine take up the entire floor, I designed it after teh presidential sweet to a hotel in Boston I almost had my girl scout troop rent out.

"Hey there, you must be Stevie. Listen my name is Volkner, I'm the strongest gym leader in the Sinnoh region, the gym leader of Sunnyshore city. You'll have to face me if your going to the leaque in Sinnoh, I'm also Nicole's father. But enough about me, I'm supose to train you." Volkner told him.

"I'm supose to help, this little guy here my dad brought him, he's my weakest, I've been training him. He'll be helping you out." Nicole told him. Pichu did it's little call and climbed up onto Nicole's head.

 

Stevie then didn't realize that Nicole's father was a gym leader. "You, training me? Uh..." Stevie had some doubts but Togepi went up to him & smiled. Togepi looked back at Volkner & Pichu, smiled at them with a determined, glowing face. Stevie then realized what Professor Gary Oak told him & he decided not to back down. "Sure. I would love to battle the strongest gym leader. WHere shall we battle & what do you mean by training me?"

 

"Well you'll actually be battleing Nicole. Nicole though is qualified to take over my gym when I retire-" Volkener began to say.

"Daaad..." Nicole said.

"It's true, in the training battle field." Volkner said. They headed to the elevator they went to the 40th floor. Many battle fields were present. Nicole walked over to the one and went to her side of teh field.

"Alright ready, time for ourselves to get back on training. I want you to think like Togepi in Stevie. Let's go when, pichu." Nicole told pichu. Pichu nodded and did it's call. He jumped out on to the field and he was ina battle stance making himself look tough. His cheeks sparked electricity. Nicole was excited though, she'd get to try out Pichu's new move, Volt Tackle.

 

"Come on Togepi. You can do it." Togepi smiled & wanted to give Nicole the best battle that she had. "NOW TOGEPI! JUMP BACK & FORTH & SPIN!" Togepi smiled & it was bouncing all over the field & he was getting hyped up & was getting faster & faster. "THAT'S IT! NOW SPIN TOWARDS PICHU!!" Togepi spinned towards pichu & it a strong ability came forth from him...

 

"Pichu! Go!" Nicole called. Pichu then did a loud call as thunder was used, lightning appeared all around and would hit togepi. Pichu was ready again as the attack had hit togepi (it's 100% accuracy, so only a miracle would happen if the attack would miss) Nicole focussed in on Togepi, it looked paralized but she wasn't real sure.

"Pichu be ready, togepi may or may not be paralized." Nicole said. Nicole looked at the field and examined for a weak spot. 'Got it.' She said to herself.

 

As the thunder attack hit Togepi, he took damage, but Stevie smiled. "NOW SPIN WITH TACKLE!!" Togepi spinned & made the thunder attack become one with his tackle & it became a thunder ball & it had hit Pichu. "THAT'S HOW YOU FIGHT WITH STYLE! GOOD JOB!! Now do the same routine again!" Togepi smiled & jumped all around the field again...

 

However due to pichu being electric it took little damage. It didn't have a scratch.

"You need to make sure your pokemon gets enough vitamins, plus giving it vitamins can make it stronger." Volknar said. Pichu smiled.

"Pichu start running at Togepi!" Nicole callled. Pichu did, he was real fast.

"Jump and do a 180!" Nicole said. It did running at Togepi.

"Volt Tackle!" Nicole yelled the attack hit Togepi in the back, a weak point. Pichu jumped back and looked at togepi.

"Now quickly double edge!" Nicole yelled. Pichu was quick and attacked Togepi.

"If you give a pokemon vitamins, it's speed, defence, attack, accuracy, special attack, and special defence can raise. Depending on teh vitamin. Vitamins are expensive, but worth it. Some berries have the same affect, but don't raise them as much." Volknar said. Pichu jumped back.

"if he wants tricks pichu, let's give him tricks." Nicole said. "Stevie, Ben went easy on you, but take note of this, this isn't your typical gym battle, everyone here wants the samething and are facing each other for it. No one will go easy on you." Nicole said.

 

Togepi then smiled & grabbed Pichu. "NOW TOGEPI!!! SLAM HIM!!" Togepi took Pichu by the ears & threw him into the ground. "NOW TACKLE WHILE IN A SPIN!!" Togepi spinned in the tackle & he hit directly into Pichu's stomach." Togepi landed back on land, but had hurted his legs. "Togepi! Are you ok?" Togepi was crying, but was still determined to go on. Chikorita was worried. "We is going all out for this one!"

Edit: Volt Tackle & Double Edge makes the pokemon takes recoil damage. Look up the pokemon's move to see if their's any side effect Star. This includes to everyone else.

Ben had heard the sounds of battling, and walked into the training field. Nicole was doing battle with Stevie, and she was using a rather unorthodox method. "Tricks? Well, what ever works." He leaned against the wall so he could watch in comfort. "This could be interesting. I think thats... Yep. Volkener. Really nice."

 

OOC: Also Thunder actually only has an accuracy of 80% but it's power is 120%, plus isn't the 40th floor a bit of a long way considering the point of this RP is to work our way up. Unless Volkner got a pass or something.

IC:

Alister had put all of his things away and his pokemon had eaten their dinner. He put his room key in his pocket and then beckoned his poekmon over to him. "Toxin, Vigor lets go check out the other floors to see if anything exciting is going on." He left the room and made sure the door automatically locked like it was supposed to. He made his way over to an elevator and just decided to pick a random number. "Does 40 sound good to you guys?" He asked his pokemon, they replied happily emitting their specific calls. "Ok 40 it is." He pressed his right index finger up against the orange button. The black text was slightly faded so he only hoped that the button actually did take him to floor 40.


After a period of elevator music the elevator stopped gently and the metallic doors slid open. He stepped through them and abruptly witnessed a Togepi slamming into a Pichu. "We've stumbled upon a battle." Alister ran over to Ben and began to speak. "Hey um I'm Alister, I'm not sure if we've met." He then turned his head slightly to see Volkner. "Oh wow is that Volkner?" He asked curiously as he nodded his head, Toxin and Vigor were busy idly enjoying the competition.
