"Whew. Thank you Merlin. I didn't think that I would get attacked here again. That's real weird. Who is that guy? You know Bo? Tell me everything about my past self. Why do I have such a connection with my staff? Is it true that something is trapped within Angelo, this staff? What is going on? Are you a final fantasy character too?"

 

Gotcha breathed heavily like as if he had ran a cross country. "Th-thanks, Merlin was your name right?" He asked.
The room began to spin through his eyes and Gotcha started to collapse. "What did... you do? Why am I so..." he said before finally collapsing on the ground. He lay there with a bleeding hand and the dead Moogle still tucked under his arm.

 

"Gotcha?! Merlin shouted. Great! I didn't think i would have to use my 'Kain' this quickly, he said with a slightly synic tone. Merlin kneeled before Gotcha and rolled up his sleeves, stretching out his arms ubove him and focusing deeply. A dark-green glow decended from his hands on Gotcha and the Moogle.
There you go, now i'll just wrap it in... and... done...
Okay Brandon, he needs to rest for a while now, and till he wakes up i'll carry him up again."

 

Will was surrounded by demons, gunblade in one hand, a fire whip in the other. "Come on! See if you can kill me!" He roared, slashing at one of the demon's throats and killing it. Another demon jumped at him, biting into his arm. He roared with pain as he slashed it off and kicked it away. Will turned to the crowd of demons gathering behind him and shot a large fireball from his gunblade. "Just die already!" He roared.

 

Gotcha felt something soft and furry underneath his arm, he moved his arm out of the way to see a Moogle. It was missing a wing but was alive. Gotcha sat up and the Moogle climbed on to his shoulder. "Well this is a surprise, before you were scared of me... Wait a minute, your alive!" he cheered. Looking at his bandaged hand, memories of that man came to haunt him, "Jesse, Nicole, I'll find you guys". He got up and staggered painfully towards Merlin, "You saved him, this Moogle, you saved him right?" he asked without concerns of himself first.

 

Gotcha knew what this creature was, "A Chocobo!" he yelled. The Moogle hung onto Gotcha's shoulder as he mounted the Chocobo. He trusted the creature and shouted back at Merlin and Brandon, "I'll be right back!" The Chocobo climbed out of the hole and dropped Gotcha and the Moogle off, it then proceeded back down the hole. Seeing two silhouettes he thought he had been saved by some people. His eyes now adjusting to the light, he was beginning to recognise their faces. "Jesse? Nicole?" he asked.

 

"My hand, I fell and cut it on a sharp stone" he lied. Looking at his bandaged hand reminded him of that cold man Rovora, he looked away from it instantly afraid of the nightmares it will bring. "And yeah" he continued, "Its a Moogle alright, I kind of saved him but Merlin is the hero here for bringing him/her back to life". He stood up to see Jesse in cool armour, "Wow, where did you pick up such a thing! Bo told me to be a guardian for you and Nicole but seems like your doing well for yourselves!"

 

Staring at his hand, Gotcha explained "This man, Rovora, he's trying to... kill you. I'm not too sure of his ambitions but it seems he wants to kill all of us. He hit this little Moogle pretty hard with fire, I caught him and thought it was done for. He was going to kill me with his sword afterwards but thankfully Merlin came before he did." He held up his bandaged hand at Jesse,"this hand, it reminds me of him. His cold eyes, I'll never forget them, this is the first time I've ever really wanted to kill someone so badly. He won't touch you or Nicole as long as I'm around!"

 

"This rift, it's obviously opening up again. Creatures and Monsters of Final Fantasy will appear also, not just Moogles and Chocobos but also Behemoths, Sahagins and the like?" Gotcha commented. Looking at Merlin he then asked, "so Merlin obviously knows about this already, and that Rovora, his fire was magic?" Gotcha was one to believe this story after what he had seen. "And these crystals, Rovora seems to be searching for them as well right?"
