"You're not going to find anything here." A voice was heard behind Rilo. Leaning against teh wall hood covering her face was agirl. She had long brownish blond hair.

"They left, if anyone's going to know where they're at it's their friends." THe girl said. It was Jen. She looked up her face being shown but still shaded.


"Please, I beg you to do this." Kate said. Nicole shook her head.

"Kate, I prefer our child grows up normal and with us being unaffected. Plus I will be fighting alongside Jesse. J will be safe with you I supose." Nicole said.

"No! PLease Nicole! You must raise your child." Kate pleaded her.

 

"I've been told before. That wrench though, don't go easy on her. Kill her the minute you get the chance." Jen said. She pulled the hood down more covering her face.

"They're not going to come here, it's important to kill them, but there's a crystal tavern here somewhere, we need to find it for Rovora." Jen said. She stepped forward heading up the hill.

"You coming?" she asked not stopping or looking back.

 

"He wants the power of the crystals. Nicole took one away from him. He got two other ones." Jen told him. She stopped and looked up at teh floating crystal.

"Rovora, the crystal is yours to take." Jen said telepathicly to Rovora. A blast of light came out of nowhere and hit Rilo knocking him back. Jen turned and pushed her hand in the direction it came from lightning charging from it hitting the intruder.

 

Yje monk came running out.

"Get away!" He yelled blasting them into two seperate magic portals. Jen appeared in front of Rovora. Rilo appeared on the same boat as Merlin and Gotcha.

Jen stood up and looked at Rovora.

"Sir the crystal is there only some what guarded by a monk that caught us by surprise." Jen told Rovora.

 

Jesse nodded and said, "I want my child to grow up normally. Lethim meet other magic users and find friends. I don't want him to have lived the lonely life I had to live. Here in the Final Fantasy universe he can make many friends and grow up happy. Besides Nicole, me, and all of our friends will have Rovora's head on a platter in no time." He said.

 

Kate looked at him. She glanced at the child.

"Don't worry." Nicole told her. J yawned and stretched. He looked up at his mother looking worried. His eyes began to water. Nicole loooked down at him.

"It's ok." Nicole told him. A tear started falling down J's face. He stretched his hands to Nicole wen Nicole handed him to Kate. He began to cry. Kate shook her head.

"No I can't, it's one thing if he was older but he needs his mother." Kate said. J kept crying non stop. Nicole took him back.

"I got an idea though." Kate said. She ran in her room and began ripping things. She came out with a little cradle bag. She gave it to Nicole. Nicole put it on and Kate set J in it getting him situated. Nicole looked doown at J.

"Just be careful please." Kate said.

"This home is a gift from the monks and nuns, it can work as a resting place, I have a sheild around it to not let anyone evil in. I shall stay here and wait your return, if you need my assitance use this." Kate said getting out a little whistle. Nicole nodded.

"Thank you." Nicole told him. J smield up at his parents.

 

Jesse looked at J and said, "I promise you little guy that as long as I am alive, no one will hurt you." He was determined to protect Nicole and J from any harm. J smiled at Jesse and clapped his hands causing a bottle full of milk to appear. J began to drink the milk, he was very hungry. Jesse smiled and kissed Nicole, "Let's do this." He said to his beautiful love.

 

Nicole nodded. Kate smiled. She got her flute out and blew into it.

"All of your friends will have a portal appear to them. Tell them to take the portal the portal leades them to the biggest crystal tavern in teh world. Go there yourself save that one, underground you should be able to acccess all the otehr taverns and individual taverns. I sugest you put the power into J. That'll protect him more." Kate told them. Nicole nodded.

"Thank you." She said. Her on hand on top of J's head and the other in Jesse's hand. She began to play a portal opened up for everybody. Nicole stepped through with Jesse and J. They stood under a cherry tree in blossom over looking a huge lake in teh center was a tall rocky structure. Nicole looked at it seeing a small hole with light amiting from it.

"There it is." Nicole pointed out. J looked and his eyes widend.

"Crystal..." J said. His face lit up and turned determine.

Nicole closed her eyes and sent a message to everybody.

"Guys, take teh portal that has appeared infront of you. Brandon I sence others with you, they are welcome to come as long as they're good. We will be waiting." Nicole sent them. She looked at teh water. She summoned her staff and laid it down on teh water. it froze. She stepped on and her her foot stepped it froze.

"I made it where whereever we step it'll freeze and melt the minute we leave the spot. Come on." Nicole said. Stepping on to teh lake and began walking accross to the tavern. J kept looking ahead.

"Daddy... Mommy..." J said. He pointed ahead. "Crystal..." He said. His face was determined. Nicole nodded.

"Crystal..." She repeated. J nodded.

 

Jesse was running along side Nicole and J. Jesse smiled, "Well Rovora looks like we got another crystal ya looser." When the three made it to solid ground Jesse sighed in relief, "See J, you have a strong mommy and daddy. Of course you are pretty strong yourself."

Rovora sensed the three and sent a messege to Rilo, "Come to the crystal tavern now." Rovora transported in front of Nicole and said, "Well you two got busy and made a little runt." He looked at J with cold emotionless eyes.

 

Nicole jumped back twirled her staff. Nicole's face looked emotionless with anger. J looked up at the guy who scared him some and looked at his mother and his face got determined. J looked around the tavern then at Rovora.

"Boo!" He yelled when bats suddenly from teh ceiling came flying down on Rovora. Nicole looked at J. She pointed teh staff at Rovora and sent a blast of magic at him.

"Leave now, stop all of this!" She yelled at him.

 

Rovora used a powerfull fire spell to destroy all the bats, "Now I have had enough of this you stupid girl. I want that crystal." He jumped over Nicole and kicked her leg making her trip. However Jesse caught her before she and J hit the ground. Rovora touched the crystal and smiled, "Oh what power." He absorbed the crystal into his being and his power surged to an unbeleivable level of power. He looked at Jesse and said, "Let me show you, how powerfull I truly am." He dashed over to Jesse and picked him up by his head. A red aura surrounded Jesse's head and then Rovora let him go. Seemingly unharmed.

 

Nicole stood up. J seemed unarmed.

"DADDY!" J yelled though. Nicole looked around. She closed her eyes and focussed. She chanted a little spell. All teh chrystal's power went back into teh crystal. She ran to the crystal and hers and J's bodies glowed. She closed her eyes feeling the power. J had his eyes shut do then began to cry from all teh power in his body.


"It's ok J we're going to get out of it." Nicole said feeling the power in her as well. Soon their bodies stopped glowing and they had it.
