Jesse was obviously dreaming as everyone in the room could hear him in his sleep. He mumbled while sleeping, he was saying, "Nicole...sorry that I....sorry that I failed you. Please don't hate me...I love you.." He said out loud in his sleep just loud enough for people in the room to hear him.

 

Nicole looked at him. She after she knew everyone was asleep got up and walked over and sat on the edge of his bed. She looked at him. Her head wasn"t hurting as much. She put her hand on his cheek. She grabbed a chain from around her kneck. It was a necklace with her baby ring on it. The same one that would hold her highschool class ring, college class ring, and more. She looked at it. It was special to her. She put it in a small pouch. She kissed his cheek.

"The dream may have been blurry but I know without a doubt you must have been that man." She said. She yawned. She was in a sitting position but slightly laid down in front of him. Exhausted.

 

Jesse awoke and saw her with her eyes close. He gently laid her in his arms and put the blanket over her. He kissed her forehead and slowly fell asleep. H wanted her to stay warm and safe. He fell asleep with a smile.

 

"You bet." The man said. He pointed to many jugs of nuts.

The next morning a rooster up on top was heard. Nicole began to slowly wake up. She felt like she was asleep for a week fully refreshed. She looked around seeing everyone asleep and the farmer went to his own house. She smelled something smokey. She went to get out of beg seeing Jesse's arm around her. She didn't move but stayed where she was at. She looked around teh room. It was bright and looked down some stairs to see a few sleeping chocobo's. She looked over at lightning fast asleep. She felt a cold morning breee sweep in. The breeze colder compared to her home that time of year, almost like an early winter breeze. She got deeperunder the blnkets. Before she heard another gun shot. She jumped fully awake from how close that was. She knew that must have woke everyone up. She slowly turned and looked at Jesse.

 

Jesse looked at Nicole, "hey sun shine what's up?" Then he heard a second gunshot, "Oh, that's what's up." Jesse saw a man pointing a gun at the window that Jesse was looking out of from the bed. Jesse grabbed Nicole and her and he rolled off the bed before the bullet went through the window, "Man, never an easy days work." He said jokingly. He helped Nicole up and said, "Lightning, get ready to run boy."

Jesse got the messege, "Yo, Brandon where are you?" He said telepathicly. He waited for an answer.

Nicole looked over at Jesse. The farmer came down saddleds over his shoulders. He brought up chcos and saddled them up. The equpment was paked. Nicole swung up on.

"You must all go, I got word that Mount Everest in Asia is the next target with a crystal, the U,S. goverment is also in Alaska you must take a long route through the artic. I packed warm cloths for you but due to you returning to your original form you shouldn't get that cold. Please be careful!" The farmer said. Nicole nodded. She raode over next to Lightning in which Jesse was riding on. She looked at Jesse.

"Come on guys." Nicole said. She smiled at Jesse. She felt safe with him. She had another dream of the future a little clearer. She wanted to talk to him in private. She sent Jesse a message now learning her magic better.


"We're heading to Mount Everest, Brandon I can sense a portal to the worl you're in there, meet us there." Nicole said to Brando telepathicly.

 

Jesse looked at Nicole, unaware of the message that would come through from her to him.
Jesse liked keeping Nicole safe. He liked how she made him feel. He felt loved and understood.
When this was over he wanted to have dinner with her family, go to the movie with her and other fun stuff.

 

Nicole smiled at him.

"You ready?" She asked him. She ran the chocobo out and they were going extremely fast. She looked over at Jesse riding. She rode faster. The air began getting thinner and the temperature was cold but she realised she wasn't real cold.

"We should probaly stop to eat and rest some. We can't stop in the artict and we're far from civilazation. More then likely our next stop if possible would be at the foor of the himalaya mountains." Nicole said through teh wind to Jesse.

 

Jesse caught up to her and said, "Yeah. That sounds like a good idea." Then Jesse looked worried, "Nicole I'm worried about your mother. The cops took her back at your house so I wonder if they are torturing her like they do terrorist?" He said. Jesse looked at Nicole and said, "I promise though, I will save her as soon as we get the chance." He said.

 

Nicole looked at him. She shook her head.

"I know they're not doing that, they may have her arristed it depends on who took her, goverment or the secret goverment group. Goverment would have let her go, the secret goverment probaly have her under arrest and they may be doing more of a kux lux klan kind of thing. I'm of the magic bloodline, who knows which side of the family contains the magic but they'll probaly torture her in case she has magic." Nicole said. She stopped the chocobo on a mountain clearing. She went and started a fire and got food out and put it over the fire.

"I'm going for a little hike." Nicole told them hopping Jesse would tag along.

 

Jesse looked at Lightning who was looking at a female chocobo. Jesse rubbed his head and said, "Easy tiger. I will be back later." Jesse walked over to Nicole and said, "Shall we" The two began to walk off somewhere. Jesse had never felt like this, he felt nervous but excited at the same time. What a rush it was.

 

Nicole smiled. They walked through the woods.

"So what are you going to do after this?" Nicole asked him walking through. She stopped at a clearing of broad branch oak tree. She began to climb it.

"ever climb trees before?" she asked climbing higher. She reached teh top and sat down. She looked all around at teh view of the woodland and mountains.

 

Jesse followed her up the tree, "Yeah. I came from Tennessee. We had this huge willow tree in my yard and I would climb it when I was little. Too bad it fell when a storm came through." He sat next to Nicole and said, "Well my home is gone and so is my family. Unless I someone takes me in than I guess the government will take me to an orphanage." He said, hoping that Nicole would offer to let him stay with her family.
