My Hero Academia: Year Three

    In a world where over 80% of the human population has some kind of special trait, the fantasy realm of Heroes and Villains has become a reality. Those who once dreamed of protecting others are now able to take their special talents and use them for good, and to fight against those who just want to watch the world burn. Perhaps the most intriguing ones to follow are young adults. Hopeful heroes to be aspiring to one day be able to follow in the footsteps of the Heroes who risk their lives every day to protect the ones they hold dear. In this story, we follow three aspiring Heroes, enrolled in their last year of U.A University, as they face countless challenges and obstacles meant to halt them in their tracks towards reaching their goals.

    Quirk: Electricity Manipulation.
    At it's core, the manipulation of electricity is having the ability to create, shape and manipulate electricity, a form of energy resulting from the movement of charged particles (such as electrons or protons), allowing control over electric fields, all charge carriers (Ions, Electrons, Protons, and Positrons), electronics, and electromagnetic forces. Sora herself is only able to utilize a small number of abilities related to the manipulation of electricity, and is bound by many of the limitations that it brings with it.

    Of her abilities, these are the few she has mastered and has near complete control of:

    1. ​
    • Electric Breath: Discharge electricity from the mouth.
    • Shocking: Release extreme electric current in a person or object.
    • Wave Motion Blast: Launch a massive wave of electricity.
    • Electricity Infusion: Empower and energize anything touched or used (usually a weapon) with electricity.
    • Zap: A tiny short release of electricity to cause pain or discomfort, usually too low-powered to be destructive.
    2. Conduct, heat and/or charge objects with electricity.
    3. Electroportation by using electricity to teleport.

    The abilities she can can use, but she has yet to master are as follows:
    1.
    • Electric Blast: Release electricity over a specific target area.
    • Electric Bullet Projection: Fire in short sequence over a wide area.
    • Lightning Ball Projection: Create and launch spheres of electricity.
    • Lightning Bolt Projection: Create, summon, and/or discharge lightning bolts.
    2. Electricity Mimicry: The power to transform into or have a physical body made up of pure electrical energy

    As powerful as electricity can be, it has many, many weaknesses. Some of which can be overcome through training and mastery of the abilities it provides, while others are impossible to overcome altogether. The Limitations that apply to Sora's abilities are as follows:
    • Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
    • Becomes useless if confronted with electrical resistant material, such as rubber or silicate.
    • A strong enough magnetic force/source may be beneficial or hinderful.
    • Electricity may be redirected by certain materials.
    • While she is immune to any and all electric attacks, she cannot yet absorb it to charge her own abilities.
    • May be limited only to the path of least resistance.
    ​
    • Can be short-circuited under certain conditions:
      • Absence/lack of electrical resistance between the positive and negative polarities.
    Personality Traits:
    Sora is the bubbly bouncy girl with boundless energy that just loves everything. She's very loyal to her friends, though she doesn't have many, and more prone to following, rather then leading. She's very clingy and cuddly, typically making people uncomfortable by invading their personal space and hugging them for absolutely no reason, which is likely the reason she has so little friends. Nevertheless, her laugh and smile is no weakness when it comes to battling, she is relatively good at knowing when to get serious, and when it's okay to just goof around. She is very reliable on the battlefield, being able to scope out the scene from higher ground as she can fly, and always willing to shield her teammates from harm, even at the expense of her own well-being.

    Brief Background:
    "It's all right now. For I'm here" These words were the beginning of Sora's journey to being a hero, though the story behind it, is more tragic then one could imagine. Despite having a quirk like 80% of the people in the world, Sora was an outcast, hated for how she looked and bullied for a good portion of her life. She never let this bother her however, always keeping a positive outlook on things and believing that they would get better.

    It wasn't until an incident at home, where a powerful villain killed her parents, that she decided to follow the path of the hero. All Might, who spoke those words, among others, to her as he arrived and saved her life, inspired her to, instead of seeking revenge, become something that could prevent the tragedy that befell her from befalling others. If things would not get better, then she would help push things along to make them better.

    Now she works together with her two best friends, Mizuki and ____ as they work through their third year at U.A. to one day become heroes that can make the world a much better place.

    Name: Mizuki Kinzoku

    Age: 18

    Alias: Quicksilver

    Quirk: Liquid Metal - Mizuki can expel a silvery liquid metal (very similar to Mercury) from every pore in her body, and control the substance at will. Her abilities include: being able to change the metal's property from Liquid to Solid at will, creating solid constructs from the metal, and using it as an armor by coating her body in it. She is still learning other ways to make her quirk of use. Limitations include: being able to produce a limited amount of this metal at a time, skin must stay hydrated or it will become painful for her body to secrete it, metal cannot be controlled while frozen or boiling (has a freezing point of -38 degrees C and a boiling point of 357 degrees C.) Mizuki cannot control any forms of metal other than what is directly produced from her body,

    Nor can other metal users control what was directly produced from her. The metal does not homogeneously mix with other substances. It is a strong conductor of electric currents.

    Personality: Mizuki is not the outgoing type. Usually quiet unless spoken to, she gives off a dark and menacing presence, causing most people to avoid her. Secretly an introvert, Mizuki doesn't mind that only a handful of people choose to associate with her. Though she can be sarcastic and aloof most of the time, those who take the time to get to know her find out that beneath her shell of indifference, Mizuki has a kind heart. She is empathetic and caring towards strangers, and has a strong will to protect those who cannot protect themselves. She is cunning, unpredictable, and a fierce fighter. Above all, she hates when people touch her.

    Background: Mizuki was born a child of two heroes. Her mother, having a quirk that allowed her to create Lava, was a woman who was well respected in the hero community. Her father, his quirk allowing him to turn his skin to diamond at will, was another hero who's talents were sought far and wide. Growing up, Mizuki was often overlooked for her older brother, Michio, who was doted upon by their parents. His quirk allowed him to turn anything he touched to stone, and thus the two heroes spent all their free time teaching him how to control his power. Up until a later age, Mizuki grew up quirkless, rejected by her parents, never knowing what it was like to be loved by them.

    It wasn't until she hit puberty and her body began to change, that her quirk surfaced. One morning she woke up in a pool of liquid metal, scared and afraid, she screamed and called for her parents. It was then that they realized Mizuki's body was unable to produce the metal from her quirk at such a young age. It was at that time, her parents wanted to help her daughter learn of her new powers, though their life took a turn for the worst.

    Michio had turned. He rebelled against his parents once it was found out Mizuki's quirk had surfaced. Angered that their attention was redirected away from him, her brother did the ultimate form of betrayal...

    He'd tried to kill her.

    One night in her sleep, he had come to turn Mizuki to stone, only to be stopped by her quirk that had protected her skin with a layer of metal. The two fought, her brother eventually overpowering her, however her parents had arrived just in time to stop Michio from carrying out his evil task. From then he ran from home, only to be seen on the news as leading a band of villains around, terrorizing innocent people for the fun of it.

    Since then, Mizuki had enrolled into UA and learned to use her power more effectively and to protect those who could not protect themselves. Now in her last year, she plans to graduate and join her parents in their hunt for her brother, and finally put a stop to the monster they had created.
