Bear in mind that it was Hope's intention for the Demon Lord to be regarded widely as a mythical figure. His 'containment' area is indeed guarded. But not by the typical denizens of Hyrule. And its location is most certainly unknown, even to Hyrule's most prominent of figures, so as to keep it a secret and make it less likely that the whereabouts fall into the wrong hands.

I personally think that Ace, at the very least, would know of the location, due to him being the King that took over directly after the Demon Lord.

Also, other then homework, Wayward and I discussed Goht being a sentient weapon that was frozen near the Zora River after the Demon Lord's initial defeat. He'll be the first 'revived' monster faced by the heroes, if Wayward follows the plan he told me about.

If the Demon Lord's existence is believed to be a myth. I doubt that Ace would know when and where he was sealed let along the denizens. Even if he is the King of the Gerudos, according to Ace's profile. He was born years after the sealing.

    Specifically?

Like I said, being that the Demon Lord was a Gerudo, telling the next King of the Gerudo the location of the resting place would have only been seen as a liability. And in any case, the Demon Lord was vanquished and sealed away many decades prior to the RP's time frame, so the information could very well be lost.

EDIT: You need not worry, Angel. The deleted posts were the ones that involved Ace's confrontation with the Demon Lord's minion during his intervention of the resurrection.

A liability? Ace was kidnapped roughly a month after he was born! He lived in the forest for quite a while leaving the Gerudo kingless, don't you think that they'd be searching for someway to get a king? A new male child is only born every 100 years, meaning they'd be kingless for 100 years unless they found the sealing place of the Demon Lord(since they are incapable of entering the Kokiri Forest)

It's possible that perhaps a rogue Gerudo provided the information to Koumake about his whereabouts, and the info was interrogated out of her, and that was how Ace learned? One way or another, Ace's confrontation with the Demon Lord will take place in his prison, because the only other place he'd be is Hyrule, which the Demon Lord wouldn't dare enter while in his spirt form.

A society that only bears a male child every one hundred years is more than capable of surviving a century without a king. I believe it's been established that they had a leader that ruled until the time that a new King was born. And it would remain a liability to pass such information on to the Gerudo when there could have very well been loyalists to the Demon Lord present amongst them.

In any case, it is Hope's ruling that the Demon Lord's place of containment should remain unknown, and that his return will be unspoken and unheard of until he has finally lashed out in full swing. He can still stalk Hyrule in his spirit form, but he just can't move and attack openly.

    Aww Hope... why complicate things?

You did that in Arabian as well with the lamp!

Also, some of the Gerudo helped seal the Demon Lord. Not all were loyal to him...

Now if Hope would respond to me on MSN... we could've talked about it.

Wayward, mind accepting my friend request on FB, that way we can message each other.

EDIT- Loophole! Koumake will bring Ace to the place of sealing, and then The Demon Lord will speak to Ace etc etc.

It would make sense for the location to be guarded by the six sages, if they exist in this RP. That's who I thought those people were in the first post involving this location.

That doesn't make much sense. If there were to be any one individual who knew of the place, it would be the king of Hyrule. But because the demon lord is essentially a fairy tale, it would be understandable if the only sort of person who would know the location would be somebody protecting the area, such as a sage. But definitely not Ace.

The sages were where I was pointing to as far as the guardians of the seal. But the men present in that post were more like underlings of the sages.

Hope isn't trying to complicate things. She's just tying to make sure the RP doesn't hit a ceiling too early.

Okay. But my loophole still stands!

Also, please add me on FB, then we will be able to talk easier XD

EDIT- Zacax, Ace is the Weapon's trainer at the school, but he only teaches Sol and Jos.

There is no loophole. Koumake is in position to bring Ace there.

And can Ace be a weapons trainer of he is a student himself? No school on that level would make a student a teacher.

Hoping to clear a few things up. Sorry for the absense I've been dealing with some personal issues over the past few days. :)

Sho, Though I admire your zeal in regards to this RP I'd like to remind you that I mentioned several times in the plot of this RP that the truth of the Demon Lord and the war were long forgotten. This is because it's, not hundreds, but thousands of years old. For Ace to be only 28 and somehow still be the king that took power of the gerudo directly after the fall of the Dark Lord is not logical with the time frame provided, especially with the fact that he was also kidnapped by the Kokiri elves (which is also slightly sketchy with the plot provided seeing as I remember writing that the elves are a proud, peaceful, and introverted race that does not stray from their forest much and hardly ever deals with the affairs of the other races. I went as far ast to say that Elf children were only recently permitted to leave the forest to attend Castletown High on the promise that they would be accompanied by their fairy guardians. I let that slide though because it wasn't that much of a stretch.)

For future reference, and for anyone who is confused on this topic: The Demon Lord and the war of the past are long forgotten by the general population and those who do know it, mostly regard it only as a story or a legend nothing more. The few who do know about it are immortals with direct rememberance of the war itself (Avions, Dragons, etc...) and these creatures are also ones to keep to themselves and most of them are rare and hard to find (especially if we are also considering that we would need to be talking to members of these races that may or may not be old enough to have lived during that time. And a threat kept a secret is less threatening of return so why would any of these ancient, wise, and probably senile creatures run around blabbing to the younger generations about it?)

I think that the 7 sages being the guardians of the temple only fitting. I also agree with the presense of the dreams to those directly involved with the impending adventure. Namely: Ace, Josleyn, and Sol. Though of course, directed mostly to Sol because he is the triforce of wisdom here.

I'm not seeing the importance of a random boss fight before the Demon has even returned from the grave yet. My vision for the coming times of this RP are actually pretty traditional to the original Zelda games: Dark times will become more and more apparent to the citizens of Hyrule daily through Storms, illness, the animals turning violent, and low level monsters showing up in random places (This already happening on the peaks of Death Mountain and Ice mountain as I've already stated in the plot. This is already taking effect and was long before anyone joined this RP. I believe Wayward and I actually talked about the village at the base of Death Mountain being attacked by monsters.
The dreams, as like in the original games, is phase two. Followed by some disaster striking at some kind of key turning point in our protagonists life (havent decided if it's going to be while Sol is trying to convince his parents of the ligitimacy of his fake relationship, or a tournament at the school between the students. Still need to talk to DW about that).

I hope this cleared things up a little bit. I'll try to be online more often.

BK, I dont mind if you join. This is still an open admission RP. :) Read the plot, races, and rules carefully before you create a profile. Post it and then let me know so I can come on and approve it. You can contact me by email: acoustichope@hotmail.com or on my facebook: http://www.facebook.com/mobileprotection#!/hope.king.754

Indeed, much was cleared up in that post xD

Possible spoilers ahead, though not much as most was discussed in the previous post made by Hope. You've been warned!

Wayward and I discussed Goht's involvement and after going back and forth a few times, we decided it'd be frozen by the Zora River, and upon the Demon Lord's release, the weapon would lead the assault on the first target of the Demon Lord's army, Kakariko Village, as you mentioned in your post.

Ace will be contacted later by either Koumake or the Demon Lord himself(well, his spirit anyway :D)

And I'm thinking on giving Ace a Dragon... though, It'll probably be sort of like a father to him, not really his pet.

Final note: Goht is the boss of Kakariko Village, and the first major enemy of the Heroes. Ace WILL be aiding Sol and Jos in fighting the minor enemies, but he'll end up being sidetracked before Goht is fought.

    Ghots involvement: fine :)

Bringing Ace to the DL: someone explain why this is nessisaary.

Ace's Dragon: I have a few modifications I've been meaning to add to the dragons on the list. If you do decide to make a dragon character, wait until then.

    Family Name: Kikaro (Kee-kaah-row)
    Given Name: Eizo (Aye-zoh)
Titles: General Eizo; The (Guardian) Shadow of Kakariko
    Age: 50
    Gender: Male
    Role: Kakariko Village Protector; Hylian General;
    Race: Sheikah Descendant
Class: None; occasionally stops in to teach lessons at the school though

Appearance: Identifiable as a member of the Sheikah race, Eizo bears the signature features of his descendants. He has a smooth, short cut hairdo that is colored a snowy white. His complexion is of an equally smooth texture and light mocha colored skin. His eyes are a light but pure red color. Despite his age, he remains to have a youthful appearance about him. Even though he is over the hill, he maintains a youthful physique of a strong build and slim cut figure. He is around five feet nine inches in height with a lean, muscular weight of around 170lbs. His body is proportioned similarly to any person of Hyrule, having little noticeable defects. Much like his Hyrulean brothers, the sides of his head bear pointed, elf-like ears. His left arm bears a unique combination of tattoos: the main tattoo is the Royal Crest of Hyrule, the Triforce flanked by a set of wings. Imposed within the center of the Triforce of this tattoo is the “Eye of Truth” emblem of the Sheikah Race.

Attire: With hand-to-hand combat being a staple of his techniques in battle, and the Ninja-esque nature of his race of his people, his attire is typically fitting to such a mold. He is most often seen about his village in peacetime wearing a black martial-arts gi with white lining as the focal point of his get up. His forearms and claves often adorn leg wrappings to keep the gi from being too billowy. His casual footwear is a pair of martial arts slippers or a pair of actual ‘shoes’ of the same manner. When in combat, or in travel, war, or threat periods, he is seen about adorned by a lightweight, white armor set. The set consists of a torso piece that protect his upper back, neck, shoulders, and chest area, and a set of clawed gauntlets and leggings worn over his lower legs and feet, and his forearms and hands. The armor is worn over his traditional gi. He’s also known to where a black bandanna with a white stripe running along the middle.

Personality: Contemplative, strategic minded, loyal, balanced emotions. These are just a few words to describe Eizo’s character. His mannerisms tend to lean towards maintaining the air of mystery surrounding his Clan. He keeps the Sheikah Clan to their affairs, only rarely melding with the general Kakariko society. Though many are aware of their existence, only a few people in the village (and a handful in all of Hyrule) truly understand who they are, and who Eizo is for that matter. His closest relations are to the Sheikah Clan members and the Royal Family of Hyrule. However, his loyalty to the people of his village and to the general populace of the land is as unwavering as his loyalty to the Royal Family. He will throw himself into anything if it means protecting the peace in Hyrule. He has proven himself as a competent strategic mind. Combat strategy appears to be his most accomplished field of study, and is something that is constantly on his mind.

    Weapons:

Katana: A Blade Smith in Kakariko Village specially crafted this weapon for Eizo; it was his reward for having completed the training of the Sheikah warriors. The weapon features a slightly curved steel blade measuring roughly twenty-nine inches in length. Though it follows a basic and effective design typical of any Katana, it has been adorned and decorated with features in accordance to Eizo’s specifications. Both the scabbard and handle of the weapon have been decaled in a red velvet material. This material wraps around the handle, and covers the scabbard in its entirety, and features a noticeable purple lining. The hand guard has been constructed to resemble, in appearance, the famed Mask of Truth. Upon the blade, markings have been made indicating Eizo as the weapon’s owner, as well as identifying the smithy that forged it. At Eizo’s request, the Hylian emblem has also been included in these markings, signifying his loyalty to the Royal Family.

Tanto: The tanto serves as Eizo’s secondary weapon. It is similar to a Katana in the sense of its material and basic design. However, it measures significantly shorter in length; its blade is only about eleven inches in length. This weapon has been adorned similarly to Eizo’s katana, save for the hand guard, which is a more basic design. The blade is a bit thinner than that of the katana as well.

Naginata: In some cases, notably when on horseback, Eizo is known to wield a polearm. In design and adornment, it is a more simplistic weapon than Eizo’s other two blades. It features a foot-long blade with a subtly curvature towards the top end. This blade is mounted atop a metal staff measuring four and a half feet in length. It features only one decorative piece: a small collection of brown feathers, identified as having belonged to an owl, which have been mounted at and worked into the top end of the staff.

Bow & Arrows: For longer ranged combat, Eizo carries a short bow and a supply of arrows. The bow itself is constructed similarly to any other, with care given to the grip, sight and arrow rest to comfortably accommodate archers. However, it is significantly smaller than many other bows. It measures a maximum length of about two and half feet (actually a bit longer than that). The arrows used in it are only about three-fourths the size of traditional arrows. Eizo carries the bow strapped and mounted on his back, and the arrows strapped down in a satchel on his right thigh. The bowstring is kept in the maximum possible tension to maximize the force of arrow release and the distance and strength of arrow shots.

Modified Hook Shot: Now mass-produced, the inventive Hook Shot tool has been modified to enhance its combat usefulness. This version is known for being lighter in weight than previous models. It features a set of trigger mechanisms connected to a set of spring-load systems on the inside. Contrary to previous designs, the model used by Eizo features a steel tow cable instead of a chain, allowing both a durability and lighter weight. The trigger mechanism is similar in appearance to a gun, with one trigger mounted on the grip being used to release the tow cable and another on the back of the grip being used to reel it in. At the end of the tow cable is a grappling claw, which opens when the cable is released, and latches onto nearly any surface aimed correctly.

Armor Claws: Eizo’s combat armor features a gauntlets and foot protectors adorned with claws over the fingers and toes respectively. In a pinch or desperate situation, these claws can be utilized in thrusting and slashing strikes.

    Other Possessions:

Deku Flares: Designed after the old Deku nuts, Deku Flares are the new fad for those looking to make a concealed get-away. The Flares are roughly the size of a golf ball, and contain a highly (and sporadically) combustible mix of chemicals that emit an incredibly bright flare when they’ve been smashed against the ground.

Mask of Truth: First and foremost it is important to remember that this is not THE Mask of Truth. It is merely a replica of the original Mask of Truth, which has been lost for some count of years. Every member of the Sheikah warrior clan possesses his or her own Mask of Truth, which is primarily used for ceremonial purposes, and only rarely adorned in combat as a rallying device. Just as with the original Mask of Truth, the replica has a base while color and appears to have been crafted from bone. It features the fabled “Eye of Truth” comprising the eye slit and forehead cover, and a redlined opening for the mouth.

Aratome: An avid horseback rider and a caretaker of the Kakariko stables, Eizo is the proud owner of a mighty steed. His is a black warhorse, standing roughly six feet in height and weighing somewhere around one ton. Aratome is known for her speed and stamina, which has been known to span across Hyrule in record times without being fatigued or strained by the efforts. In combat, she is known to be fiercely protective of and unwaveringly loyal to Eizo, having once charged an assaulting squad to rescue her master.

    Abilities:

Martial Skills: Eizo is proficient in various methods of martial practice, encompassing both combative and meditative arts. He can wage battle with both weapons and his empty hands. He has been known to display great skill with his short bow, though he rarely uses it. He is also known for taking bold and creative approaches to many pressing combat situations. While known for his superior speeds, he is an all-around well-conditioned warrior in all aspects. He is also quite good in the field of acrobatics.

Wind Magic: Eizo has been practiced and trained extensively in the use of wind-based magic. It is easily his most mastered magical skill (outside of his naturally attained Sheikah magic). He can control the flow of air around him with both powerful and refined proficiency. He is able to create phenomenon as widespread as gale-force winds and tornados and as compressed as hurricane force winds concentrated into areas as small as the dimensions of his head.

Lightning Magic: Eizo is significantly less trained in lightning magic than he is in wind magic. While he utters a great control over his abilities with it, these abilities are very limited. The extent to which he can utilize lightning magic is contained to letting off static charges from his hands or fingertips, and sometimes channeling these charges through weaponry.

Eyes of Truth: It is a long-time art of the Sheikah warriors to be able to see through deceptions. Eizo, as his ancestors before him, has been taught to see through many deceptive ruses. In theory, he is rendered immune to psychological illusions such as mirages and visual tricks. In many cases, he can sense when a person isn’t being truthful. However, physically tangible illusions (such as shape-shifting) can be easily masked from this vision, as can well-disguised dishonesty.

Shadow Arts: The Shadow Arts are the ways of stealth magic passed down by the Sheikah generations. Having been taught these arts at an early age, Eizo is capable of such feats a camouflaging himself within his surroundings and moving without making noise.

Biography: Eizo was born half a century ago in Kakriko Village, specifically in the Old Skulltula House, wherein the persisting line of Sheikah descendants had formed their base of operations. Having been born well before the establishment of Castleton Academy, Eizo was never sent to Castleton for a formal education. Yet even if there had been an Academy there at the time, he wouldn’t have gone. As a member of the Sheikah Clan, particularly its most prominent Kikaro family, he was expected to remain in Kakariko where he was expected to train for his life as a warrior and guardian. Thus, war and policing was the life-blood of his education, and became his greatest field of knowledge along with some fields of magic casting.

By age 18, after over a decade of education and training, Eizo was inducted as a full member of the Sheikah Clan, and entrusted with the duty of supporting the Royal Family and protecting Kakariko Village. Following his induction as a fully-fledged Sheikah Warrior, he was required to make two brief pilgrimages. His first pilgrimage was to the Shadow Temple Courtyard just beyond the Kakariko Graveyard. There, he spent twenty-four hours in meditative prayer to his ancestors for the success of his days as a Warrior. After this engagement, he made a pilgrimage to the seat of the Hylian rule: Castleton. There he became acquainted with the then Prince of Hyrule (who would later become King) as well as the King and Queen of the time.

Following his journey to Castleton, he returned to Kakariko, where he officially began carrying out his duties as a protector of the village and of Hyrule. The years that followed would end up being some of the most turbulent in the village’s history since the mythical age of the Demon Lord. Troubles upon and within Death Mountain, which over overlooked the village, drove the Goron communities down to its base. The people of the village fell uneasy about the presence of the Goron race so close to their own, and felt that the village could not accommodate such a population. Conflict arose, which lead to sporadic and far-between bouts of violent interaction between villagers and Goron refugees. As guardians, the Sheikah placed themselves between the two parties, resulting in many unintended deaths.

By the time he was twenty-five, the death toll of Sheikah Warriors in the crossfire had mounted to extremes. Five years later, Eizo was promoted to a position as head of the Sheikah Clan. Shortly after, he was granted rank as a General of Hyrule in charge of the protection of Kakariko; this was done in order to better manage the Kakariko-Goron relations. Over the course of the following years, Eizo managed to soften the relationship between the two sides of the conflicts, bringing a general age of ease and peace upon the village. Unfortunately, the damage was already done, and he was eventually left with only a small, elite force of the Sheikah Clan, counting somewhere around fifteen members, a number that stands strong even to this day.
