"Then we hurry our pace." Gerik said. "No more messing around. We reach the ruins by sundown tomorrow. Let's go. Now."

 

*I would say you guys do that simply for he sake of keeping this story going!*

Lucious smiled darkly "Good, good." he said, standing and walking to the window. "That means everthing is coming to full circle. Take a leagon of your finest warriors and to the Hyrule Ruins. Capture Akerika's so called 'heros' and bring them back here to me, alive. Am i understood!?"
The man nodded and saluted before running off to carry out Lucious's orders.

 

*Yeah, Oath has the right idea.*

Jacob wiped the hair out of his eyes, looking down at the Hyrule Ruins. Not really what I expected it to be. he thought sadly as he decended his horse and walked over to the cliff edge. He could see a path just a ways away that they could take to get there.

 

Gerik looked at the ruins. "Something is wrong. Somebody beat us here. None of the ruins should be visible from the outside. Something has dug up some of the mountain. The ruins should completely be inside the mountain. We should hurry down there."

 

"I'll go take a look around the ruins on Rex, he seems to be growing faster than you thought Mr. knows everything about dragons man. If you noticed the three lines on his neck than you would have known that this was a (whatever that dragon from eragon is). But it must be a hybrid, because it's mother was a different species."

 

"I'm aware of the dragon's type." Gerik said. "And if you'd have noticed the dragon's eyelids." The dragon's eyes were only half open. "You'd see that he is tired from your overexertion. Give him a few minutes." Gerik paused. "And as another thing. We stay as a group. Nobody ventures off onto their own."

 

Jacob smiled. "NOW who is a Mr. Know it all. But he is right Gerik. That would be our best option. He better just pray to Akerika that he doesn't get shot down by whoever is here."

 

"well, if you also knew a little about that type of dragon, you would have known that these dragons don't open there eyes all the way until audlthood! and shot down, yeah right, you better hope your horse doesn't get shot!" with that Joey took off on Rex down towards the ruins.

 

Gerik made a loud, strange sounding whistle. Rex immediately stopped, turned, and flew to Gerik. Gerik rubbed Rex's head when Rex came back. "As I said before. We stay as a group. Nobody ventures off on their own."

 

"Hey I could have you arrested! also I don't care what the goddess says, I only take orders from the royal family and none other Mr. Magic Man. So back off before I give you a pop in the noise Mr!" With that Joey took off again, hoping that Mgic man diddn't whistle again.

 

Gerik whistled again. And Rex came back again. "I'm in charge here. And do not threaten me. You will regret it." Gerik then focused on Rex and started to talk again. But instead of talking normally, Gerik sounded like he was speaking in a different language. Once he was done, Rex landed.

 

Jacob gasped. He knew that language. How, he had no clue. But he did. "Listen," Jacob said. "I know what you were saying, even if no one else does." he looked up at the sky. How does he know that language?

"Yes, that you lead us." Jacob commented. "Not that you boss us around and command us what to do. Now, I don't know about you guys, but I'm going down to those ruins to find out who is down there and what the hell is going on here. If any of you would like to join me, follow if you wish." he glared at Gerik for a second, then started down the path, ignoring everybody.

 

Gerik follwed Jacob, but behind everybody else. He did that for two reasons. One, so he could keep an eye on everybody. Two, so nobody would sneak up on them. Gerik was examining everything. Seeing as something wasn't right in the first place, it was best to be prepared for anything.

 

Jacob heard the arrow leave its bow. "Ambush!" he cried out, rolling behind a rock. Jacob saw Aleta's horse fall. She was out in the open. Jacob ran forward, picking the horse up and looking at Gerik and Joey. "Don't just stand there you bloody idiots!! Find out where they're attacking from!!!" he shouted, blocking the arrows with his sword. "Aleta, go in the trees. They can't find you there!"

 

"Arek!!! search and destroy boy!!!" Joey screamed out at Arek. Arek than ran for the trees and Joey followed behind him, but dodgeing arrows. Joey thought to himself, There shooting at me, when Arek is the real threat to them. "Jacob get your butt up here, and follow Arek!!!"

 

Liera sliced an arrow in midair, then drew her bow and shot into the trees.

"Damnit! Who are these guys, and why would they attack a group with a dragon?!"
