Kingdom Neveah

Aleta only laughed and shook her head "That was a cheap shot, attacking when my back was turned." she taunted. "I thought you honor guards had more integrety than that." she said, not at all bothered as she stood up and helped Liera up as well. She had always known Joey would eventually win. He was in fact her mentor but she still liked messing with him whenever opportunity allowed. If she ever pictured having a big brother, she always imagined he would be someone like Joey.

 

Aleta laughed "We aren't arguing. This is like bonding for Joey and I." she said, rolling her eyes. She pat her horse's maine to calm her down and then looked back at Joey. "It's hard to remember your lessons when I get yelled at for having had them in the first place but you were right. That was a petty mistake on my part." she said, almost sarcastic. She took her sattle from the ground and retied it onto the horse's back in no time at all.

 

Aleta laughed and stuck her tongue out at Jacob after Joey said she could kick his butt in seconds. (yes it's childish but hey, she's just funny like that) "Maybe we'll have to test that sometime." she said, competitively before she reached down to help Liara up onto the sattle behind her "When we have time for that, of course."

 

Aleta laughed "We'll just have to see." she said with a knowing smile. THen she looked at Gerik "So... who exactly are you anyway silent one? I mean, how did you happen to come across the battle field just as we got attacked?" she said with a curious expression.

 

Aleta laughed "Oh, a mystery then?" she said, shielding her eyes from the sun as she looked up at Joey and Rex. "You seem to know quite a bit about dragons.... and a lot of other things for that matter." she said, not exactly making any guesses as much as just stating a fact.

 

Aleta smiled "Sounds like a deal." she said, nodding her head. She was interrupted though, when suddenly they heard a strange sound come from the treetops it sounded kind of like a whistle. Aleta frowned and looked up just in time to see two figures jump down from the treetops and land in front of the four horses. Aleta's horse reared in suprise and Aleta held on tightly to the reins to not get thrown off. She reached her hand to her sword, hoping she wouldn't have to use it.

One of the strangers, a man with white hair, stepped forward with a strangely forced smile on his face "Hello there travelers." he said, a little too kindly. The four others behind him all stared at a different member of the group, their expressions unreadable. "Sorry if we frightened you, but it was curiosity that led us to you. We wondered, what are five seemingly very different people all traveling together in the middle of the forest for?"

 

The leader of the group smiled, "What a great honor indeed for your daughter then to be escorted through the dangerous outskirts of Neveah by her father and friends." he said, there seemed to be some sarcasm in his tone. "You must be very brave." he said to Aleta "Or your father must be a very good liar." the four with him laughed and annother one of the five spoke, this time a woman with long black hair and a cold look in her eyes "Like he said, it was only curiosity that brought us here. We will leave you in piece."
Aleta glared at the five, she didn't believe a word they said but she didn't want to say something that would mess with Gerik's cover story so she remained silent.

 

The five did not seem to notice when their comrade was killed by Jacob but the one that seemed to be the leader did straighten up and become more serious. "Like we said, we shall go now. But not without fair warning, travelers. The lands of Neveah are quite treacherous indeed... you should be careful on your little journey." with that, the five dissapeared in a puff of smoke.

Aleta shook her head, "That was strange... I dont think that we have seen the last of them." she had not yet noticed Jacob and the attacker he had killed.

The five appeared in the throne room before Lucious, "My lord... we have found those that you have ordered us to track. They appear to be traveling to the Hyrule Ruins." the leader reported.
