"Because there really really really really retarded! and they probably don't know who they are dealing with! and that dragon isn't that scary when it's only a day old. Just return fire while Arek sniffs them out and kills them! Jacob, you really need to get your butt up here!"

 

Several arrows came at Aleta. Gerik ran and pushed her out of the way. But doing so, he couldn't have dodged the arrows. Everything seemed to be going in slow motion. Just as the arrows were about to hit Gerik, Gerik's body glowed. The arrows hit, and bounced off him. There wasn't a single wound. None of the arrows harmed Gerik. Gerik brought out his sword. He swung towards one of the archers. He sent out a magic blast from the swing. The magic blast cut the archer in half.

 

Gerik heard Aleta scream. He turned to help. But several enemies got in his way. He swung once, hitting all of them. Their bodies flew into the air from the force of his attack. Gerik picked up an arrow off the ground and stabbed it in an enemy that got too close. Gerik reached Aleta. "Let's get going to the ruins. There is more cover there."

 

"I know." Gerik answered. He whistled really loud. Rex charged through the group, plowing through all of them. Gerik grabbed Aleta's hand and ran through the opening. They ran up to everybody else. Gerik grabbed them and ran down the hill to the ruins.

 

Liera fired three arrows at once at the attackers before Gerik snatched her away.

"Heeeey, mr. mysterious man, how about using your 'magic powers' to get rid of those guys? How'd you even manage to do that any way?" She asked, shrugging off Gerik and running on her own.

 

Jacob looked around, lost in the sea of enemies. He could hear the others around him. But he couldn't get through any of them. This is not going to well. Jacob thought. He needed to get out of here. He glimpsed Gerik and Aleta heading for the ruins, and couldn't see Joey. "Wait up!" Jacob said, making his way closer to the ruins. A blow to his head sent Jacob falling to his knees. Another blow knocked him out. Jacob's world went black as it tipped sideways.

 

"Hold on their boy I'm a coming!" Joey beat off the attackers around Jacob with ease. But Jacob was already out cold, so Joey picked him up threw him on one sholder and ran to the ruins. But Joey forgot something!"Arek!!! Arek come here boy!!!" But Arek didn't come. Joey ran back into the mob of attackers, slicing heads, arns, legs, anything thay kept him from finding Arek. Joey had found that the attackers had gotton a musle on Arek. Joey blowed through the attackers, cut Areks musle off, put a leash on him and ran tiwards the ruins again.

 

"Give me the boy and dog, or your head is going that guys a** and his head is going up that guys a** and then his head is going up your a**. besides I've hadn't a good match in years, lets hope your a good match, I've never backed down from a fight and I won't start now." Joey then lung at the man, Joey thought to himself, I've got an ace up my sleeve though

 

Jacob groggily woke up, finding himself slung over some guys shoulder. He tried looking around, but all he could see was the guys butt. Jacob could hear Joey talking to one of the other men. He mentioned "boy", so Jacob assumed that meant him. Which means I've been captured. Just great. Jacob quickly looked around, and drew his knife, trying not to move so much. He gripped the handle. This is something I guess I have to handle my own way. Jacob thought as he stabbed the man right in the neck. The man gargled on his own blood, then started falling. Jacob landed on his feet and quickly rolled the man into the trees. He snuck up behind the white-haired man.

 

The white hair man jumped up high to Joey's surprise. Joey rolled out of the way as the man came down with his sword. Joey weaved and bobbed as the man tried stabbing Joey. Joey saw jacob come up behind the white haired-man. and continued doing what he was doing. Joey thought to himself, I need to get rid of this guy and find Arek.

 

Jacob started backing up when the man turned to him. He started dodging attacks left and right. The man got up in Jacob's face, holding onto his wrist. Jacob quickly grabbed the mans hand as well, and stood there, wrestling for control. Jacob could see the woman slowly advancing on Aleta. I have to help her! he thought. Jacob slung his arm one way, then towards the woman and let his knife fly towards her. He got punched in the face and fell to the ground.

 

Joey dodged the sword and came around to find that the assassin had found jacob, Joey quickly to this moment to attack while his enemy had his back to him. Joey noticed that the magic man and princess were having some problems too, but he foucsed on the white hair man the most.

 

Jacob couldn't breathe. The kick had nearly crippled him, sending him to the ground. Jacob looked all around. They were losing the battle. Jacob knew of only one way to win. He had to find their weakness, and he had the perfect way. Closing his eyes, Jacob called upon the power that he had been given. Please... Tell me... How do we win? Suddenly, dozens of images flashed across his eyelids. Jacob tried his best to gain them under control. Finally, he found something to use against the white haired man. Smiling to himself, Jacob opened his eyes and stood up. He drew his sword and advanced on the man.

 

" you are good old man, but I'm better!" Joey then tripped the white haired man, but the white haired man trip Joey as Joey trip him. both got up quickly and continued to sword fight. they were both evenly matched, but Joey was about to use his ace in the hole, but Jacob came and Joey decided not to.

 

Liera fired arrow after arrow into the advancing crowd, but they just kept coming. When she was down to her last arrow, she jumped in and stabbed it into a soldier's eye. She retreated to Aleta's side, drawing her dagger.

"There's too many of them! I don't know how much longer I can last!"
