    Yale looked down at the water and saw his own reflection.
    "The darkness is coming to this area. I am from an organization that helps protects the worlds if a threat arises. I am the youngest in this group and I have been assigned to this world for its protection. I haven't talked to people my age since I was 14."
    He wanted to tell her about what happened to him before but decided not to. He didn't even know why he was telling her that he was assigned to protect this world but maybe it was for the better. Maybe things would be more organized that way. Also there was something about Destiny, which made him trust her.

    Destiny perked an eye brow. She just grinned. "Now c'mon, don't you think you're getting carried away here? The worlds and Destiny Island especially are protected by Kingdom Hearts, everyone knows that, the secret cave even tells us that there's always a force that protects Destiny Island." Destiny told him. "Now come on, maybe you just need some rest, I know I sure do." Destiny said standing up and smiling at him before heading back to the others and plopping down on her sleeping bag and getting under the covers. "Well?" Jim asked before Tim punched him. "I'm sure that new kid, Yale was it? Isn't that some sort of fish or something? Anyways doesn't want us to know about it." Tim said. "It doesn't kind of matter, I think we all just need to get some rest. Tomorrow is the island festival anyways." Destiny said looking up at the sky. Jim and Tim looked at each other shrugged. "Whatever." Jim said when Tim got up and put out the fire. The orange glow was gone, but the little island was still lit up by the moon light.

    Yale looked around for a sleeping bag and found one by the side of the circle where everyone was sleeping at. He grabbed it and laid under the covers, looking at the stars. Suddenly a star went out, making him worried.
    "They're going to have problems...I should be out there, helping them"
    He turned his head to the right and his face almost hit Destiny's. Yale leant back, blushing but remained his composure quickly.
    "Uh...sorry"
    "What are you doing? Why are you blushing? This is not supposed to happen. You can't be like this around the people you are protecting..." he thought, annoyed at himself. He turned his head back towards the stars, not wanting to see another star come out. He closed his eyes for that very reason.

    Destiny fell asleep.

    Dream...

    Destiny slowly woke up and looked all around. She rubbed her eyes then realised no one else was there. "Huh? Guys!" Destiny Jumped up. She wasn't even in her sleeping bag. She was just lying there on the beach. She looked up at the night time sky, not a single star was out, but it was dark, she then looked at the moon and gasped. The moon was huge and full in the shape of a heart. She couldn't believe her eyes. Destiny quickly ran to the bridge and went to go accross it only to crack under her feat and she fell through. The water was surprisingly deep and rough.

    She opened her eyes to be on shore and looking up at the bright morning sky. The sun was up as she hopped up confused. Everybody was there acting normal. She glanced around and saw Jim and Tim first. They both waved to her but as soon as they waved they started fading into nothing and two little black creatures hopped up from the ground. "Ahhh!" Destiny managed to yell to only see othe kids have the samething happen. She found herself being backed up into the water and felt herself falling backwards into the water. It was no longer water though. "Destiny..." Destiny heard as she felt herself falling. She closed her eyes as she fell through the sky and into the water her body slowly falling, slower and slower. She slowly opened her eyes to see the aqua blue ocean water begin to fade and become black as a light blue came from below her. She felt herself land down on a flat surface. She didn't dare lift her head though.




    OOC:: this is the awakening for Destiny and Tom.

    "Get up Destiny." Tom said, also in the Awakening. "I can tell that this is more than just a dream. We're both here. Get up." Tom lifted her up. He looked around on the platform they were on. It was him and Destiny, back to back. Behind them was the heart shaped moon. "Seeing you here, by the way, make me wonder. When you got that headache the same as me, did you hear some voice speak to you? Saying something about destiny was in the hands of some children?"

    Destiny got up confused and looked around partially aware of Tom and partially not until he asked about the head aches. "Huh? Oh!" She exclaimed when remebering. "Yeah, I did hear that." Destiny said.

    As you both did...

    "What?!" Destiny looked around as a voice with no real tone as to guy or girl said. It was more like picturing someone saying it but not hearing it. Slowly the ground shook as three pedistools rose up. In a spark of light two of each weapon showed up. Both acting like a twin to the other but a little different. There was a sword, a shield, and a magic staff. Destiny looked around at them all.

    Here you must decide what your power will hold, make your choice, and choose wisely...

    the same weird voice said again. Destiny looked around at the three pedistools her eyes were drawn to the sword. She looked at Tom. 'What could all of this be?' Destiny thought to herself when she stepped forward. She looked at the shield to her left first.

    A shield, a weapon for protecting the ones you love, while also showing courage and bravery that you won't step down, definately though something to hide from the enemy though as well...

    Destiny looked forward at the sword.

    A sword, a weapon for fighting for the ones you love showing courage and bravery in each battle, but this means power, can you control this power from using it on the ones you love...

    Destiny then looked to her right at the magic staff.

    A staff of power and wisdom, surely one with the control over this staff is very wise knowing magic, a weapon to keep the enemy away from your love ones, but also a weapon of destruction...

    Destiny looked back at Tom as in confused wondering what this all was about. She looked forward again and finally glanced down in confusion when she saw the mural of tiles on the ground. She recognized the picture. It was a picture of Sora, the chosen keyblade master from about 1000 years ago. Beside his loyal side kicks Kairi and Riku. Standing behind them in the distances were also great keyblade warriors, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. Going around the edges were the seven princesses of hearts at the time, who Sora protected. She stepped back and looked at Tom. "What could all of this mean?" She wispered.

    All questions shall be answered, as soon as you choose your path and awaken your Destiny...

    the voice spoke. Destiny walked forward and stopped in front of the sword glancing back at Tom before grabbing the one sword. She held it in her hand looking at it before tightening her grip on it and appeared on top of the pedistool, the other sword floating next to her. She looked up at Tom waiting for him to make his decision.

    "It means that something is wrong. Very wrong. Or else we wouldn't be here, weapons floating in front of us. That new guy, your new boyfriend or whatever. He probably knows what is going on. If you two are gonna talk in secret, make sure it is out of earshot. Anyways...." Tom walked towards one of the pedistals. "I wonder... Would we be limited to one?" Tom picked up the other sword, and then walked over to the shield. He reached out to grab it.

    "He's not my boyfriend, I was just being nice to him." Destiny told him. Destiny watched him grab the sword and walk over to the shield but it disappeared as did the staff. "I'm going to say no." Destiny called over to him.

    Is this the choice you want?

    Destiny looked over at Tom. "Aren't we allowed more than one choice?" Destiny asked. The voice didn't reply as one set of each thing appeared again and the sword in Tom's hand reappeared on the pedestoll

    Alice sat up leaning against the tree drawing by the starlight quietly so she wouldn't wake up the others. She wasnt sure what to think of any of them really. Destiny was very friendly but there was something extremely perky about her that somewhat reminded her of the gossiping girls only not quite as mean as them. Tom, or whatever her brothers name was, well she didnt know much about him except that the gossiping girls called him 'hot' or 'dreamy' quite a few times but the words 'lazy' and 'boring' also came up a few times. She tried not to assume he was like they said he was though for the simple reason that they were very mean and shallow. Yale she deffinately wasnt sure about. She looked up at the sky, wondering if what he had said was really true and kind of worrying about it. What if the 'darkness' attacked her home world? Would they be able to survive it? The thought of her childhood friends, even though she didn't talk to them much, dying or getting lost in darkness scared her some. Alice always felt kind of small and helpless but she felt double as much as normal tonight and she didnt want to sleep. So instead she was up drawing but she wasn't sure what she was drawing. It was just a pedistal of some sort with two figures standing on the top of it. They were carrying keys that were extremely huge. The picture kind of amused Alice because she wasn't sure why she thought of it but at the same time there was a sort of reverence that came with the image of the picture. In front of the two was a giant door with a keyhole that nearly covered its entire serface. But the door was open and from the inside there were more people looking out at them. Many of them had their eyes closed or blindfolds across their eyes and had lost looks on their faces. In the distance there was a darkness forming around the pillar in which everyone stood but from the two figures and the top of the pillar were like flashlights, pushing away the shadows. In the shadow around the pillar was the outline of a face. Alice had shaped it after someone she had seen before. Whoever it was looked very familiar but not in a good way. The picture kind of scared her as she drew it.

    Johnny was gazing out at the stars as the others had set up their sleeping bags and introduced the new kid. It wasn't very interesting to him but he made sure to remember the name, mainly cause Destiny usually was a little testy about his memory. Yale, doesn't sound like a name you'd get around here. Wonder where he's from. Maybe he knows some good music. Johnny noticed Yale and Destiny talk but couldn't hear them over the other kids talking around him. When everybody started sleeping, Johnny stayed awake and stared at the sky. A large crescent moon hung out, shining brighter than anything else in the sky. He smiled, it was nights like these that he loved. As he was watching, he happened to see a light drift across the scene. "Oh hey, a shooting star."

    Yale woke up from his sleep, as he saw a shooting star. He looked over at a boy who was gazing at the stars. He laid back down and did the same. He took a deep breath in and breathed out, thinking about his old world. Suddenly he saw something not right in the skies. A scar ripped across the stars, causing suns and planets to explode and Yale gasped as he heard a faint sound of it's explosion.
    "I have to go. Something terrible has happened" he told whoever was up and then he realised; they didn't know who he was. He ran towards his gummi ship, which was hidden behind a bound of sand and he stepped inside, frantically pressing buttons to start the engine.

    "Oh well." Tom muttered to himself. He walked over to one of the staffs. "Well, I wouldn't want to copy you Destiny. And maybe Magic sounds like something a little more up my alley." He went up to the pedistal and grabbed the staff. He held it in his hand and swung it around a little. "Feels rather light."

    Is that what you choose?

    The voice asked. Destiny looked over at Tom. "Yeah." Destiny said when suddenly the ground began to shake and she hopped off the pedistol and saw as the ground began to break. She fell down. She looked over at Tom and they landed on another platform. This platform stood a girl and another boy with a few other friends in the background. This girl though was special, she had angel wings. In the background was kingdom hearts and there were two people behind her, a woman and man looking at her smiling. Destiny looked at it and held her sword when suddenly little black creatures rose from the ground(heartless), tall white creatures appeared(nobodies), and small little blue creatures(unbirths) rose from the ground.

    "What are these things?" Destiny asked. She held her sword and looked over at Tom.

    These are your enemies they are...

    The voice spoke began to say but stopped. Destiny looked around. "They are what!" She called out when they staretd to ambush her and Tom. "I guess we need to fight..." Destiny said holding her sword.

    Jim and Tim looked out at the sky and saw a rip of white in the sky. They gasped and Jim turned around to see the new boy running off in a panic. He pointed towards him and Tim nodded, wanting to follow him as much as Jim did. They followed him through the darkness but suddenly something grabbed hold of Tim. Jim looked in terror as he saw yellow eyes beaming towards him. Gazing into its eyes, another being of darkness grabbed hold of Jim's wrist. Jim and Tim tried to wrestle their way out of the creatures' grip but they couldn't break through. They were too powerful. Jim looked horrified as he saw more yellow eyes heading their way.
    "HELP!!! SOMEONE PLEASE!!!"

    Yale sharply turned around and saw the two of them struggling against the heartless. He dashed outside, hoping he wasn't too late but as the heartless jumped on top of the two boys, Yale slashed them away with his blade and slashed the two heartless, who were holding the two boys away from Jim and Tim. They ran and stood behind him, terrified.
    "Thankyou..." Jim gasped.
    Yale nodded.
    "Stay close. Okay? We need to save the others."

    Johnny was still gazing at the sky when he noticed Yale started running. At first he thought it was just a 'bathroom' sort of thing, after all there was no bathroom on an island. But then he heard some noises, screams even. Johnny instantly got up and rushed to the source. What he saw was shocking to say the least; he saw Yale cut down some monsters in quick powerful strikes. Johnny was speechless but came to his senses when he heard what Yale said to the other two.

    "Stay close. Okay? We need to save the others."

    "On it!" Johnny yelled. He quickly rushed back and woke up the others. "Quick start running for the boats! Get back to the town! It's not safe here!" As they started leaving he ran over to where Destiny and Tom were lying. "Get up you two! We've got to go!" When they didn't move he shook them a little bit. "Hey? Are you two ok?" Destiny? Tom?" Johnny stood up and yelled for Yale. "Hey Yale! There's something wrong with Destiny and Tom."


    (OOC: i don't really know what happens during an awakening so i'm gonna go with they're in a trance.)

    Destiny fought the creatures that kept showing up it seemed endless. Finally though they were lessening. Destiny swung at them and got them down and had her hands on her knees panting hard. "That for sure was one of the hardest battles I had to fight in my entire life." Destiny said standing back up and looked over at Tom when light platforms appeared and spiraled up to what looked like another platform. Destiny walked forward looking at the path and started up the path. She got to the path when the area started to change around her and Tom. They were in the secret cave and the swords bagan to glow and they formed a key shape of light(not the actual full keyblade yet)

    Your weapon has great powers for unlocking and locked the keyholes of the world, the keyholes in people's hearts, and to the heart of all worlds.

    The voice spoke. Destiny looked up at the mystery door in the secret cave where there was a keyhole, darkness was flowing out of it. Destiny was confused and looked down at her sword and pointed it up but the area changed and she was back to using the regular sword. She looked at the mosaic design and saw the same angel girl from the other platform a lot older with a bunch of kids Suddenly the platform began to crash again and she started to fall again with Tom.






    Tim and Jim stood in confusion staring at the weird creatures as they popped up everywhere and all of a sudden they just disappeared. "That was weird." Tim said. Tim and Jim looked back over at Johnny though looking at Destiny and Tom. They quickly ran over and they both seemed unconcious.

    "Really now?" Ringo said as he kicked Yale in his back making him fall to the ground. "There's nothing to do, the door has finally opened - you and your island are doomed. Running doesn't help, only a quick death would be good for you kids", Ringo said as he summoned his steel claws, they formed of the darkness around him - the claws looked as they were invented just for ripping the victims body to pieces. Ringo grinned and informed with his hand that Yale would make his move, as the whole sky of Destiny Islands was beginning to get darker and darker.

    They landed on another platform. "This is just gonna be some rollercoaster kind of thing, isn't it?" Tom muttered to himself. He looked at the staff in his hand. "Now would be a wonderful time to learn some magic. Look, another platform is off in the distance. We might as well get going. No point in standing around here. If we don't keep on going, we may never wake up. Which actually sounds like an okay thing...."

    "You're so lazy." Destiny joked with him. She stepped forward when a book fell and started floating in thin air. "Hey I think it may be a magic book." Destiny said looking at the book. She looked back at Tom and put her sword and rested it up on her shoulder. She stepped back and looked down on the platform. The minute she did though a dark haze began to show up accross the platform. "This can't be good." Destiny said.

    Yale stepped back to avoid the attack and he turned his head, worried about the others' safety more than his own.
    "Get on the boats like Johnny says. Grab them. There's not enough time"
    He turned back towards Ringo.
    "Who are you? Why are you doing this?"
    His blade glimmered in the moonlight.
    "I need to call HQ. I need help. Wait...where was that rip in the sk..."
    He looked up and saw the rip covering the area where HQ was. It was destroyed.
    "You have destroyed my home" he growled with a tear rolling down his face.
    His blade was completely covered with darkness. He was angry and upset. He has lost his home; the only place which treated him well. Now its gone.
    Suddenly the blade flashed from its original state to a dark blade shaped like a key. Without even noticing, he wildly swung his keyblade towards his enemy, not remembering about his training prior to this moment. He was angry, confused and sad. This brought out his weakness; his recklessness when his emotions are out of whack.
