"Crystal?" Zack said in surprise. He had just finished up the last few of the heartless before she came out. "Crazy people?, who are you talking about?" Had Kawi began attacking the castle?. Zack was tempted to go into the castle but he trusted Crystal. "Its not safe here any more. We need to leave, Hopefully the cornerstone will take care of the heartless and we can come back here but for now we need to leave!". Zack and Crystal headed for her ship, It was still pretty banged up but it was still in working condition, and he had the worlds greatest gummi pilot so it should be ok.

"There she is" Zack said as her ship came into view. "C'mon get her started up and lets go!"

 

"I'm not going to allow that." Kage ran up behind them and stopped a few feet away. He had started running once he sensed Crystle heading for the hanger. He could also tell that the boy with her was the other light he was sensing besides her. "That girl has something that belongs to Lord Masen. She will be going to give it to him personally. And you don't have a choice about that." Kage drew his sword and snapped his fingers. From the shadows around them formed Neoshadows and Invisibles They all seemed to be waiting for something though. "Capture the girl. Alive. Do what you wish with the boy." The heartless charged.

Kawi gazed into the vast surroundings of space. It was now time to sleep and for 25 hours, he has been awake. His eyes were drooping down and his head was pounding like a drum. Shiro was sitting down on the seat to the right, looking the same. He turned towards his friend and sighed.
"Well, I'm going to bed. You should too."
The gummi ship had three bedrooms. They used to be Sora, Goofy and Donald's rooms.
He waved and then turned right into Goofy's room. Kawi frowned and looked at a bright star with a tear in his eye.
"I hope Nozomi's okay."
He walked away from the window and entered inside the room opposite to the hangar. He opened it and saw pictures of various people and Kawi noticed many pictures of Sora and Kairi arm in arm on the beaches of Destiny Islands. He looked at a picture of Sora, when he was 14 years old.
"You're lucky. You have the girl, you have many friends and you're not a forgotten."
Kawi entered inside the bed and placed his head on the pillow.
"Perhaps a better day will come"
He drifted off to sleep.

 

"Do you doubt me?" Motx asked. "If he came close to defeating Masen, then I can easily defend all three of them." A portal opened up behind him. "As fun as our conversation has been, I'm running late now. So, until later, good bye and good riddance." Motx walked backwards, keeping his eyes on Shayde. Once he was next to the portal, he grabbed Nozomi's arm and left the world through the portal.

"I'm not the person you saw in the castle." Motx answered. "I'm only his shadow." Motx faced Nozomi. He opened up part of his shirt, revealing the scar on his chest. "This marks my birth. The man you saw in the castle released his heart from his body once Masen almost killed him. Where the heart is, I do not know. So, sorry that I'm not the one you were hoping for."

Kawi woke up, a few hours later, not able to get Nozomi or the threat of darkness out of his head. Suddenly he saw a large ship, which looked like a pirate ship.
"Kawi, surrender yourself or we will kill you" a speaker from the ship said.
Kawi shook his head. He wasn't going to submit that easily.
"Shiro, wake up. We've got trouble"
Kawi sat on the gummi ship's control booth and sparked the ship to life. They burst and evaded the ship. The keyblader looked back and saw a beam charge from a cannon. Widening his eyes, Kawi dived the ship to dodge the attack.
"This is not going to be easy"
Shiro sprinted into the room with his pyjamas and took control of the lazers. He started firing the cannons, taking them out.

 

"Yes." He answered. "I chose it from the ancient way Nobodies would create their new names from an anagram of their old ones and an X. And, I'm certain my heart is still around somewhere. He still exsists, even if the heart never comes back into this body." Motx slightly sighed. "We should get going."

 

Motx snapped his fingers. "Right here." He spoke as a portal formed. "But you're not gonna get far on your own. Running headlong into the center of the darkness isn't a smart idea. Even the past me wouldn't go near that world until he fully believed he was prepared. And we both know what happened next. And besides, Masen is after you. So going up to him isn't exactly resisting him like your group swears to do." Motx faked a chuckle. "I suppose if I had emotions I would truly laugh. Laugh at how I'm showing concern for something that isn't any of my business."

 

"No emotions. Just memories. Memories of before." Motx replied. "And using darkness to hide your light isn't the brightest of ideas. Kinda eats away at the light after a while." He walked towards the portal, motioning her to follow. "Since I'm not gonna change your mind, let's go. And then you'll be able to find out whatever it is you want to know."

 

Motx glanced in Nozomi's eyes when he was through. "She's troubled. Is this another benefit to replace my heart? Looking in someone's eyes and getting a sense of their thoughts? Not important now, to think of such a thing." "I do wonder what Masen is trying to accomplish. Of all things, he should know the horrors he's caused. And what will happen to an unbalanced world."

Kawi looked at Shiro with uneasy eyes.
"We need to get out of here. Isn't there anything that can take us out of here in an instant!?"
Shiro was scrambling as the ship was getting battered by incoming attacks from the enemy ship.
"There's nothing I can do" he replied grimly. "It's cockpit has a barrier around it, which is very thick. I don't know how to get through it. Sora only taught me the basics"
"Sora? This is Sora's fault then, once again"
An energy built from within Kawi; a dark energy. His eyes went red and the ship suddenly rumbled and the engines roared like a lion. Suddenly weapons emerged from within the ship's armor and as Kawi rose his hands, thousands of missiles were sent towards the enemy battleship. Seeing this, Shiro ran to the controls and flew the ship out of the way. The explosion from this attack would be catastrophic. The missiles came into contact and Shiro barely was able to avoid the explosion, which spanned an area of an entire world. It could have been seen from anywhere in the skies. It was devastating.
Shiro looked at the destruction, Kawi has caused and suddenly saw rocks flying through the sky. A WORLD WAS BELOW!
Shiro sat down in his seat, not knowing how to react. He looked over at Kawi and saw his eyes turn back blue and his skin was pale white. He looked very tired, as the weapons faded away.
"What's wrong with you!?" Shiro shouted.
"What happened?..."
"You blew up a world along with that ship!"
Kawi ran upto the front window, looking at the destruction he caused. A tear streamed down his eye.
"What have I done?....." he murmured in sadness. He knelt down to his knees, crying. "Masen will pay for this....and then afterwards, I have to go. I do not deserve to live. I've killed innocent people."

 

sorry for the vanishing act, something came up that prevented my access to a computer. it's been taken care of though so i'll be active once again.

Kage smirked as Crystle declared she'd leave with him. "Agreed." Kage snapped his fingers and all the Heartless vanished in puffs of black smoke. He then walked up and grabbed Crystle's arm. He sheathed his sword and snapped his fingers again, this time opening up a portal. "now let's go, before you try anything." He pulled Crystle beside him as he walked through the portal.

The two appeared in front of the castle in Hollow Bastion/Radient Garden. Kage motioned to a nearby guard to come over. "Take her into the ungeon and place her in a high security cell. Make sure she is constantly watched and that she doesn't try anything." The guard nodded and whistled, bringing out a couple Defender Heartless to help. Kage let go of her arm and let them walk off with Crystle. Time to inform Lord Masen.

 

"No!" Zack shouted as the man walked through the portal with with Crystle. "Damn it!" He shouted in frustration. There was no one around, the castle was in ruins and he didn't know what the hell to do. Something snapped in Zack and he began smashing anything he was close enough to. His fit finally ended with him throwing his swords though one of the castles windows.

Zack knelt there breathing heavily as he tried to catch his breath. Normally Zack would have prepared a rescue team and gone and retrieved whoever had been captured, but this wasn't a normal situation. He didn't know were any of the resistance were and he had no way of travel.

"Crystle's ship!" Zack suddenly remembered. Zack quickly made his way up to his room to get some items picking his weapons up as he went along. He wasn't sure how she would feel about him flying it, but she would probably forgive him if he survived to make it to her. As Zack reached the hanger were her ship was left he thought about taking it to one of the smaller groups of resistance fighters. I can't risk the time, That guy said Masen wanted Crystle and if that's true she could be in real danger. Ill try and get some reinforcements over the radio he decided. Zack then took off and headed straight to what felt like was possibly a one way ride.
