Jordan closed his eyes and took a deep breath after Angels comment. 'She's right...heh, she always is,' he thought. For a second he almost let it go so he could talk calmly. But Darians smart comment made Jordan snap. Jordan grabbed Darian by his collar and pushed him against the wall. "Who the hell do you think you're talking to Darian? I have half a mind to beat the living shit out of you right now. But you know what," Jordan let Darian go and gave a sly smile. "I won't. Someone needs to put a leash on that bastard of a brother you got."


Devlin stopped and looked down. For a split second he agreed to what she said. But he quickly snapped out of it. He had to stick the plan. Remember his mission. "Hmph, whatever the hell you wanna call yourself is fine by me. Just know I can smell you." He turned to look back at Selena and smiled. "And I smell a helluva lot more darkness than anything else you got." With a snap of his fingers, the chair and her chains were gone. He continued walking and raised his hand for her to follow once more.

 

Selena summoned her keyblade but stopped.

'Might as well see where I am, what exactly he's up to before rushing to defeat him.' Selena thought to herself her keyblade disappearing as she followed him and watched him carefully.



Angel stepped between the two.

"Enough!" She exclaimed summoning her keyblade pointing it at Jordan and looking straight at Darian.

"We're on a new world, our home just got destroyed, my best friend" she turned and looked at Jordan, "practically my sister has been kidnapped, and you two are fighting over who's captain of a ship neither one of you have seen in your life!" Angel exclaimed sighing.

"You," She looked at Darian, "mind explaining what happened back there? Something weird happened, and I'm worried about you..." Angel spoke before shaking her head pointed the keyblade back at Darian and looked at Jordan. "You need to control your temper. Every time you lose your temper the further we are from find Selene."

"Here's what's going to happen. Unlike the rest of you, I actually know what that thing is, and how to fly that thing. My dad used to have a secret one when he did international business with some guy named Scrooge selling ice cream. He has told me how to fly a gumi ship. Also since the rest of you have a problem with keeping your cool, I will be the one to keep it. Does anybody have a problem with me leading? ...No, good." Angel said her keyblade disappearing looking between the three boys before walking out of the alley the ship had landed in and looked out into a large plaza filled with several people and a few shops, there was a cafe off to the right she noticed somebody sitting at one of the tables.

 

Jodan shot Darian a dirty look then stared at Angel as she walked away. "You're no leader Darian, so stop trying." He held his hand out and smiled as his Keyblade appeared in his hand and the tip just touching Darians neck. "Remember kid, I got this...and you got nothing." His Keyblade disappeared in a cloud of dark smoke as he turned his attention to the bookcase. At random, he grabbed a book and laid on the sofa like seat, not facing the group. Jordan, being the reader that he was anyway, decided to read to hopefully get hisbmind together as his anger and darkness decreased within.


Devlin led Selena to an opn balcony which overlooked the entire world. The world was practically a giant dried up desert except for a part to the east. Out east, it looked like a huge forest resided there. Devlin took a deep breath and smiled back at Selena. "Good luck running away, if that's what you were thinking. I wouldn't even last two days out...'there'. And thanks to the barrier I got around this place, anything can leave, but nothing can enter without my approval." Devlin shook as if getting goosebumps, jokingly, and said, "And believe me. The stuff that's out there," he gestured towards the forest region, "will hlow your goddamn mind."

 

"Oooh. Why does it have to be me?" Pete started to walk through the First District of Traverse Town, trying find some more heartless to create and control. "This world sure look too ordinary. Maybe if Maleficent took control of this world, then we will just make it better for us to have total dominion." As he continue walking to eventually end up in the Second District. As he raised up his hands, summoning soldiers and Large Bodies. "OK ROOKIES! Let us make some more beauties!"

 

Will shook his head as he watched the scene and felt Jordan push past him. He looked at Angel. "I'll try and talk him down, just keep an eye on Darian all right?" He said, heading back into the ship. He approached his long time friend and sighed. "Jordan, we need to keep a cool head here man. You know I want to help you find her but that's going to be hard if you keep flying off the handle man. I've known you for too long for you to think I'm not to blame either. I know I should have been paying more attention to Devlin than that pink haired person but I was stupid and hot headed. We need to work together on this. With both of us we may actually manage to make it easier." He said, smirking slightly.

 

Jordans was already so clouded, he didn't hear a word Marluxia said but he did begin tobfeel himself gaining more control now. The darkness in his heart settled down a bit, allowing him to regain himself and look back at what he had just done. He held his finger in the book, so not to lose his, page and closed it sighing. "I don't know what's been going on man. Since Selena left...I don't feel myself." He shook his head and then managed to pull a smile out and looked up at Will. "Heh, not like me to be the hothead, huh? Usually your role." Jordan gave a small laugh. He opened his book back up and began reading agan. "I'm just going to read for a bit, let Darian cool off too."


"I don't know. Doesn't seem like much to me. I mean, have you even SEEN this kid," Xigbar asked his superior. "Yes. I have. And he hasn't been showing much yet, but in time I promise that you will see what I see." Xigbar shrugged at Xemnas' puzzling response and looked at the pool of water which reflected the movements and surroundings of the kids. Xigbar pointed at Pete in the reflection and asked, "He gonna be a problem?" Xemnas shook his head in response. "No. He may be, in fact, just what these 'heroes' need. After all, Devlin will be joining them shortly."

 

Will smiled. "You seem to fill my shoes all too well man. I'm going to see what Angel has worked up for a plan." He said, starting towards the door. "Try not to let the darkness cloud your judgement too much my friend, it will bring you to your knees just with your own guilt." He breathed, just barely audible to his friend before he stepped out, looking at the other two. "So what's the game plan? Obviously not sitting here twiddling our thumbs?" He asked.

 

Angel paused hearing Marluxia words and glanced around the street. Slowly she noticed the wind blow something off the roof she raised her hand and caught it in her hand before opening it up. In her hand lied a single rose petal.

'It has to be that guy...' she thought to herself before hearing Will and turned to him.

"I vote one or two of us stays here while the others go explore this place, learn a little about this place. I don't know how long we'll be here, but supplies we'll need to figure out how to purchase before traveling the worlds looking for Selena." Angel walked towards Will and pulled him to the side.

"Is it just me or is something weird going on. I feel like an outside force is playing us." She whispered so quietly Will might have had problems listening to her. "How about you stay here with Jordan, maybe scout the area close by try to figure out a way to get some munny. I'll go with Darian and scout a little farther away." Angel said turning and looking back at Darian. "I'm worried about both Jordan and Darian, if we don't work as a team, stay true to ourselves... Listen to our heart..." Angel paused remembering Selena, "We'll never find Selena."



Selena stopped and turned to Devlin and crossed her arms.

"So you have me here as a prisoner, it does not mean I listen to you. I will not fight my own brother, my friends, and don't think I will let you lay a hand on any of them neither." Selena said still keeping calm.

 

Darian ignored Marluxia's message and marched into the ship angrily. Darian's eyes bled with rage as he starred Jordan down as if he were an enemy. Then Darian looked at Angel in anger while she stood outside of the ship. "You know what...I don't need you guys....I don't need any of you...I'll go on my own!" Darian said fiercely while looking at Jordan. Darian then ran towards to Jordan and punched him in the face. "I don't care about a.....Key...blade, I could care less...it only makes you more like the pest of a brother I have" Darian said before swinging and connecting another blow to Jordan's abdominal area. Darian then had an idea of what Jordan's next move was and prepared for a strike.

 

"You! You've been whispering in my ear since Twilight Town started falling, you've been playing us all against each other." Angel exclaimed keyblade summoned.

"Darian, who needs a keyblade! Where's the friend who believed in his heart an would stand by his friends! Jordan, you two have been best friends forever, we all have, what would Selena say about you too fighting?" Angel spoke out.

"Selena is my best friend pratically my sister, before she was kidnapped by the darkness she told me something. Follow my heart, my heart and my friends believe in the light and each other, we won't be manipulated no more!" Angel exclaimed keyblade summoned at her side. She looked at Marluxia before running between Jordan and Darian.

"Jordan is my brother not related by blood. Will though I've not been too close to, I know he'd be like the friend who'd provide honest opinion, Selena was my sister, both of us grew up pratically in the same crib we'd barely would be seen apart. As for Darian..." Angel stopped and clenched her hands in a fist.

'I can't be nervous now...' she though before clenching her eyes tight.

"He's another good friend, best friend besides Selena, he was my neighbor and he'd stand up for me all the time, and I've... I've had a..." Angel stopped and looked towards Jordan he from Selena knew full well about the crush she's had on him for forever.

 

Jordan nearly hit Darian square in the jaw, but watched as Angel gave her heartfelt speech. She was just about to admit her affection but was attacked by Marluxias thorns. 'Brother, huh? I've known the kid that long, huh,' he thought quickly. On pure instinct, Jordan hopped from his seat and greabbed Marluxia by his throat and gripped it tighfly. "Let Angel go, and me and you will have some, heh, 'fun'." He gave a sincere smile, showing off his teeth.

Devlin smirked and stared back at Selena. "Oh so you'll just let Jordan kill you, huh? You have no idea who the REAL Jordan is," Devlin rubbed his neck as if in a bit in pain.

 

Saix jumped from his seat at the sight of Marluxia interfering with the children. "What does that imbicle think he is doing? Interefering in everything they do," he said angrily. Xigbar blew the tip of his gun and looked over at Xemnas. "Don't worry boss, I'll take him out nice and quick if you need me to." Xemnas sat back in his seat and rubbed his chin deep in thought. He looked over to Xigbar, then glanced at Saix, who quickly looked away, and said to Xigbar, "Let him fight. He will be dealt with soon enough. As long as he isn't interfering with the boy...too much." Saix looked over at Xemnas with complete shock while the nonchalant Xigbar put his weapon away and continued waching. "Saix, I would like to speak to you and Axel for a moment. Go retrieve him at once." Saix gasped but disappeared to do as his superior asked of him.


A scream from the forest forced Devlin to look up and smile as he shook his head. "But you don't have to do as I say. You could always face the consequences of make a dark treaty...death. And if you're dead, who'll stop me from killing your brother, hm? No one is asking you to 'kill' him. Just...pull the real Jordan out is enough for me." He turned and gave Selena a nice hearty smile.

 

Will heard the commotion and summoned his keyblades, starting to charge to help Angel in the battle. He spun the right keyblade, slamming it into the ground and using it to pole vault yet stopped himself just before, knowing he wouldn't make it. He slid a little bit, stopping just before the ledge. As he eyed the man he gritted his teeth, knowing that the second he got his chance he would get payback on this guy.

 

Angel remained silent the entire time. She watched as the wheel began coming towards her.

'What do I do?' Angel thought only hearing Selena's words again, she nodded and looked into her heart summoning her keyblade looking up she jumped with all the force she had into the air over the spinning wheel and threw her keyblade at it forcing Marluxia to stop the attack and for him to appear. She landed on the ground as she caught her keyblade coming back to her hand.

"I'm not too much of a fighter, and I'm not sure what power you may be referring to, but I have come in third place of the struggle tournament for several years." Angel told him.
