Kingdom Hearts: Origins

Angel felt the impact of Darian's body but Selena side stepped it.

"So this one's a tough one. I got game." Selena said. She stood ready but she didn't advance towards him.

"If you want somebody with real skills, come get it. I got smarts behind my moves." Selena said at the sometime partially mocking Jordan and Darian.

"Selena! Are you insane?!" Angel exclaimed struggling under Darian's body weight. Selena didn't even glanced behind before smirking.

"I'm not an idiot I'm more of an... unintellectual genius." Selena said.

 

Darian got up from off the ground and coughed up a little blood before wiping his mouth off. "Devlin...I've been hit harder than that before...Step it up!" Darian said as he balled up his fist.

Suddenly Darian's left eye flashed completely white and his right black and yellow, then changing back to normal. Darian then ran towards to Devlin with his fist balled and a devlish look in his eye's. "I'll Kill you! , You bastard!" Darian screamed as he punched Devlin in the gut. Darian jumped back after the his and looked at Jordan.

"You ok bud?" Darian asked while looking back at the girl. Darian had realized a change in Devlin as complete change. It was as though Devlin wasn't himself

 

Will heard the carnage happening and he sprinted, knowing the creatures were probably hunting for other things but if his gut was right Darian and Jordan were in trouble. Reaching into a bag on his back Will drew a struggle bat, knowing that it would not do much more than stun but he preferred having a weapon in his hand rather than nothing. He pulled the corner, feet sliding on the cobblestone as he saw a face he hadn't seen in almost ten years. "Devlin..." He breathed, jogging up and helping Jordan up. "You guys all right?" He asked the group, drawing another bat before dropping the bag from his shoulder to the ground.

 

Selena stood there watching and glanced back at Angel and Darian.

'I wonder if it's time they learn, that shortly after Devlin disappeared, I got a keyblade.'she thought to herself coming back next to Angel.

"You and I are best friends, right? The yin yang friend duo. We promised we wouldnt lie or keep secrets from on another." She said Angel looked at her confused. "That promise I lied." She said smiling at Angel turning back to watch her brother scream in pain.

"I knew he was here. Angel, in case I'm not there to help guide you guys, you need to fight and don't abuse the keyblade." Selena said as Angel stared at her confused. Just as Selena ran forward past Jordan.

"I've had enough of this child play" she said as her struggle bat transformed and hit a head on attack on Devlin as he was laughing.

"Here I thought you were smart, Devlin. I thought that's why you performed a fairly illegal keyblade inheritance on me." Selena spoke out holding her own keyblade.

Angel stood in shock.

"Selena... She has a keyblade?!" Angel said referring to what Devlin would refer to as he showed off his weapon when they were younger..


OOC: Selena was turning into a damsel in distress so I needed to change that and I figured some motive/purpose for your plan was needed.

 

Darian's eyes opened wide in amazement when he has seen Jordan and Selena both weilded a keyblade. "Y-You have one.....too...."Darian said as he let his anger take over him. "Well I guess I wasn't meant to have one....but I have something better....something no one but I will have" Darian said as he took out his struggle bat and ran towards swinging his bat and hitting Devlin in the chest knocking him clear off his feet. "Am hitting hard enough now Big Brother." Darian said sarcastically before letting out a barrage of attacks on Devlin while he was still in the air. When Darian turned back and looked at Jordan Darian's left eye went from being completely white to normal again in a instant. Darian then backed up slowly out of Devlin's reach and looked at Jordan. "You know what you have to do right?" Darian said. Darian backed up behind Jordan waiting for his strike on Devlin.

"Darian" A mysterious voice said to Darian. Darian began to look around but seen no one. "Who are you!" Darian screamed out.

"Darian you must leave...flee this battle and spair your life...He is too strong for you at this moment....your time will come!" The Mysterious Voice said to Darian. Darian began to look around again before backing away from Jordan even further.

 

Will saw Jordan fall, his temper rising as he watched all his friends be swatted aside like flies. "No... they can't fall... this can't happen. NO!!!" He barked, charging Devlin with the twin struggle bats, knowing that they wouldn't do much but he needed to do something to help them. His feet pounded with his heart at a mile a minute as he started approaching Devlin faster and faster. Finally when he was within striking distance he flipped the struggle bats up, diving at Devlin to land as many blows as possible on the older man.

 

Will felt his anger flare higher and he started to swing at the pedals, cutting his way out with the struggle bats. After a few of the pedals were left he stepped out, legs slightly shaky but he was still standing. "You... you think I'll go that easy?" He growled, lifting the struggle bats up in defense. "Try again." He barked, starting forward but almost dropping to one knee. After steadying himself he charged again, readying his bats. His feet slapped against the cobblestone as he twirled the bats, preparing for another onslaught from the scythed enemy.

Will sailed back, skipping off the cobblestone street, struggle bats flying in different directions away from him as he bounced and smashed off the stoned street, stopping a good ten feet from where the battle had originally erupted.

He groaned and rolled over, clutching his ribs and spitting a touch of blood from his small fight. As he started to roll back onto his back memories of all his training with Jordan and Darian came forth. "Never give up Will. I know your temper is a little high but that's something you can use! Bring your pain and hate forth, allow it to fuel your strength!"

Will slowly rose to his feet, an angry growl escaping from his throat as two large blades appeared in his hands, twirling them with a bloodthirsty look on his face.

"This is quite amusing. Kids who are unaware of reality as they dream foolish dreams, a lunatic who is bold enough to destroy his own family and a man of such feminine... but this piques my curiosity. Nobody...where have I heard that word before? No matter. Their town looks as though it would be a great world to conquer. GO! Search out the world's keyhole! Give the command! Wipe out those insignificant fools! Sweep them away into oblivion!"

The Wizard successfully heard the witch's command and came out of the shadows. The Wizard heartless raised it's staff, becoming completely invincible as it called on bolts of lightning to signal the complete invasion on Twilight Town while yet throwing many thunder spells to hit everyone. As the Wizard kept on using the spell, Shadows and Soldier Heartless join it's side so that they can lead an attack on the group. The whole town were caught in a horrific invasion as the barriers that were protecting it were destroyed...

 

Will charged the scythed person, not caring that lightning was striking around the normally peaceful town. He dragged his blades on the cobblestone as he ran, eyes never leaving the pink haired menace that had attacked all his friends with Devlin. Will started to near the man so he flipped one blade up, twirling it in front of him almost as to make a spinning blade to charge the man with. "You're gonna pay for what you did to them!" He barked, pushing the spinning blade into the man before spinning himself, striking with both keyblades multiple times.

Selena at the last minute pushed her body up.

"Angel, do as I told you. One day we will meet again, but follow your hearts not what you see. I won't be going down that easily." Selena called out her eyes showing the obvious that she was on the verge of going unconscious when at the last minute before she disappeared she reached her hand out and the group- Darian, Jordan, Will, and Angel flashed in light and disappeared. She smiled before passing out as they faded away.


Angel shielded her eyes before pulling her arms down from the bright light finding herself standing with the other in some sort of alleyway.

"Selena!" Angel exclaimed looking all around. "What just happened...?" She asked realizing her best friend was gone.

 

Darian could only watch as he had seen Jordan's sister be devoured by the darkness of the portal. "I can't believe he took her" Darian murmured. Darian looked over to unconscious Jordan. "Looks like you wore yourself out bud...we gotta get you somewhere safe. and somewhere fast. Darian ran over to Jordan and picked him up and put him on his shoulder. He then realized Jordan had not let go of his Oblivion Keyblade since it was summoned by Jordan. Darian looked at the keyblade in disbelief. "Well I guess Devlin was right...I'll never wield a keyblade...ever" Darian murmured to himself.

"Darian Go....Get from twilight town now...find somewhere more safe..." A Deep Mysterious Voice said calling out to Darian and Darian only.

Darian then looked around. "Where can I go...I don't even know of a place outside of Twilight Town but the....T-the Mansion" Darian murmured to himself. Darian looked back at the others. "We have to go to the Mansion...it's our key to getting out of Twilight Town...I just know it is" Darian said looking unsure himself. Darian then looked directly into Angel's eye's. "You okay?" Darian asked her sincerely.
