Kingdom Hearts: Origins

Akinori had been tagging along the whole time, at first it was hard spying on them in complete secrecy but now that they were in a forest he simply hid in the trees. "Jordan, Selena, and Angel...I see..." He was typing the whole time as he jumped from tree branch to tree branch. "They all have a strong light in their hearts and are probably capable of using the keyblade...now, time for the interaction." Akinori jumped from his perch atop a tree branch and landed on soft patch of grass to avoid making noise. With soft footsteps he pulled out a gun and shot the tree closest to Jordan in an attempt to get their attention and hopefully get one of them to draw a keyblade.

 

Akinori simply smiled at them "If that is a question you truely need an answer to..." he said turning around. With his back turned to them and continued "Then you will follow me." he said walkig towards them mansion before unloading the guns magazine and waiting at the gate. "ASE...tell me what makes you think of these as candidates for keyblade...and the holders of these so-called 'bonds'..." the eye glowed before a messag came to his mind. "They hold an incredibly strong light in their heart." the ASE answered only one of his questions but he didn't try to ask again, he would simply get the answer in person.

 

"Jordan, let him go. He's not from around here, who cares. Maybe we're better off going to find Darian and come back when this place is empty for sure." Angel turned and looked at Jordan. In the meanwhile Selena stared off after the guy and shook her head.

"I don't like that guy, he doesn't just show up and act like boss." Selena said.

"Let him go, we have more important things to care to... like our lives." Angel said not paying a lot of attention to her when suddenly Selena took off in a run after the guy struggle bat in hand. Angel whipped around quickly and looked at Jordan.

"We need to stop her before she gets hurt." Angel said as she ran after Selena.

 

Darian had just entered the woods and began to look around for the other calling out "Hey Guys Where are you!".He looked at the Mansion far ahead of him and began to think.

"There is no freaking way they went in there!" Darian thought as he began to run towards the Mansion. Darian then stopped when he seen a tree had a bullet hole in it that was still smoking. "Oh No" Darian said as he took out the struggle bat from his bag. He then looked around for any sign of help from the others.

 

Selena crossed her arms.

"I would have been just fine." Selena said. Angel looked over at Darian who entered the woods.

"Darian!" She yelled over to him as he was approaching near them and turned to the two siblings fighting.

"Come on, Jordan. You taught me everything you know, not to mention I know some of my own things. So he had a gun, I have pretty good stealth and I'm pretty agile." Selena complained. Angel shook her head and noticed a gentle leaf fall near her. That's when she took notice of the eerie feeling again sending a shiver up her spine. She looked around the woods for a reasonable explanation to her paranoia. She found nothing and as she stood there she couldn't shake the feeling of being watched.

"Come on let's just get out of here." Angel complained. Selena looked over at Angel and sighed.

"Fine. Let's just head Darian's place then, if it's alright with him." Selena moaned, but agreed, forgetting about the strange fellow in the cloak.

 

Darian looked at the others and sighed in relief. "Well I guess we could go to my place, but whats going on...?"Darian asked curiously. Darian looked at Angel then at Jordan and Selena. "Will you two come on!" Darian shouted. Darian put his struggle bat away and exited the woods. He looked back to make sure the other were following him.

Darian looked around after he had exited the woods and had seen that there was no one in sight. "Wonder where the town went"Darian thought

 

Angel and Selena both followed Darian out but stopped when he stopped looking around town. Angel looked over at Darian and if they exchanged a thought she knew instantly what was up especially when she noticed the trolley frozen in place, parked perhaps.

"Why are we standing around?" Selena asked not picking up on what Angel and Darian had picked up on.

"Where is everybody?" Angel asked walking up next to Darian. She looked around and looked closely at the shops. Nobody was standing at the counters, to make it creepier, they weren't closed with the metal panels pulled down in front of the counter like all the shops would do if they were closed. It and the rest of the main district seemed simply abandoned.

"The whole town seems kind of abandon..." Angel whispered. Selena looked at the two of them confused before looking around town investigating with her own eyes.

 

"Selena I think you should go with him...I think he's heading home" Darian said as he watched Jordan walk away. Darian looked and Angel "So you coming with me, I mean your house is across the street from mines and we can check out whats going on" Darian said. He then looked at Jordan striding off. "Jordan If anything goes wrong at your house get in touch with me A.S.A.P" Darian yelled out. Darian began to walk the opposite direction of Jordan and began walking to his house. "Angel you coming?" Darian asked as he walked away.

 

Selena nodded running to catch up with Jordan. She looked back at Darian and stuck her thumb meaning they'd stay in touch.

Angel looked at Darian. But nodded. She always got nervous when with him alone, but with what's going on, she's more confused than anything.

She hurried after Darian as they walked through the streets. Everything was so empty and quiet. She noticed a skateboard littered in the street, a child's ball. She couldn't believe anything when they finally arrived to the street they both lived on. She looked around.

"Maybe my parents are home, my mom's always home she never leaves the house!" Angel exclaimed running to her door and opening it quickly.

"Mom!? Dad!?" She called. She ran to the kitchen first to see it empty, next the sitting room, empty. She ran through every room. stopping last at her parents bedroom. The door open and the room empty as she stood there in disbelief.

"My mom never leaves the house. If she does she always leaves me a note, tells me ahead of time, and calls me." She whispered not knowing if Darian was around or anybody was around, she just spoke aloud to herself in disbelief and confusion.

"Ah. Another sweet dear girl caught in our web." Maleficent's staff glowed as she encased the sleeping Cinderella in ice to hold her in her dormant state. "We are getting closer. They are slowly falling into our hands. This will surely become an advantage." Jafar started to laugh as he started to walk down the halls in content. "Surely this will give us the power to conquer the darkness." "Not really. Two is still not enough. We will need to find the other five princesses." "Even so, what about that fat of a cat? What is his name? Pete? That's it. Do he even have a dab of evil in him? The poor scaredy cat." Maleficent turned around as she was ready to start a conversation. "Pete is my utmost and caring servant. After all, he is about to help negotiate someone to join our ranks. Though he is a coward, his determination to serve me is what keeps him from falling into darkness. A strange being indeed." "HA! My poopsies can do better than him. Whatever. All we need to do is to wrap our tentacles around the other five princesses and the whole universe will be ours."

"Just keep on wishing that to your heart's content." She smiled as Diablo landed on her left shoulder, getting ready to pass on the next message. "What is this... a town? Thank you my pet." Maleficent pet Diablo and sent him on his way so that he can start to help Pete spy on the next Princess of Heart. "It seems that we may have found another world to attack... and this we shall see if the next princess lives there."

 

As Darian and Angel came up to their street Darian ran off without saying a word to Angel. Darian ran in house and up the stairs to check his parents room. Darian looked around to see no one there. He then ran back downstairs to the dining room to see a blood stained white table cloth. Darian heart began to pump faster as he walked to the kitchen. When he reached the kitchen he had seen his parents laying on the floor with blood covering their bodies and multiple wounds. A tear fell from Darian's eye before falling to the ground and crying out "Nooo!!!!!!!!!!!!". Darian kneeled there in disbelief of what was going on.

 

Selena ran in after Jordan looking around.

"Jordan. We should probably get a hold of Angel and Darian. I have a bad feeling about things. I feel like the four of us should have stick together." Selena spoke out.


Angel stepped out of the house after awhile looking around for any other sign of people, nothing though. She looked towards Darian's house when she heard him scream. She quickly ran towards his house running through and stopping gasping loudly when she saw the bodies of her neighbors and Darian's parents. She covered her mouth feeling sick seeing them dead. She was in just so much shock. She could feel her body shaking slightly as well. She cleared her nervous scared throat.

"Maybe we should meet back up with Jordan and Selena, we'd be safer I think. We definitely need to get out of here." She said in a mere whisper trying to be strong but finding his parents here dead and not finding hers at all she could feel the waterworks flowing more than what they already were.

"Darian..." She whispered.

 

Darian stood up from the floor with a blank expression on his face. It hadn't looked like he had cried at all it except for the one tear he had shed before falling to his knee's. Darian looked at his blood covered hands and walked over to the sink and washed his hands. Darian then walked over to his mothers body and grabber her necklace from her neck and his fathers medallion. "I will never forget you either of you...I promise" Darian said. Darian looked at Angel as he put the necklace and medallion in his pocket. "Angel go to your house and gather your things we have to go I feel like something isn't right..." Darian said as he walked up to her grabbing her hand. "Im fine okay....Believe me I will get through this and you don't have to worry about me" Darian said while holding Angel's hand trying to calm her nerves.

Darian looked at his family picture and shed another tear. "You know this is my first time ever crying since I've been born..."Darian said trying to smile, but having a mere smirk on his face. "Lets go now Angel" Darian said while grabbing his bag that he had packed earlier. "I won't need much...it's not like im going to be coming back here" He said as the smirk went away slowly.

 

As he grabbed her hands the sadness did go away and she felt calm, thankfully not calm enough to cause her butterfly feeling for him to start. She nodded before breaking away from his hands.

Angel hurried back to her house grabbing her bare necessities: some potions from the medical kit, some food, some accessories and rings to help protect her. She hurried back out, her messenger pack replaced with side pouches attached to her belt and she held onto the struggle bat.

"Let's hurry!" Angel exclaimed trying to be as strong as possible.



Selena held on to her struggle bat gripping it.

"Light in our hearts, darkness? What are you talking about?" Selena asked confused.
