Kingdom Hearts: Origins

Jordan had fallen to one kneeduring the fight, holding hjs Keyblade to support him. He leant his head on his Keyblade and began breathing heavily. He looked up for a brief second to see Darian with his Keyblade, cutting through the many Heartless but still to no avail. He glanced to his left to see Will's sluggish swings, indicating that he wouldn't last very long either. For the first time in a long time, Jordan felt a sense of helplessness. He could also feel anger and sorrow. He could not go out into the field of battle and protect his friends nor himself. Seeing his little sister now felt near impossible.

"That's it huh? Is this really how everything ends," he mumbled to himself as Heartless began to circle him. In the distance, he could hear someone yelling something aloud, more than likely directed to the group, but couldn't hear the words. With more rage building up, Jordan began exhausting fumes and clouds of darkness from his body.

"Leeeet usss innn. Youuu can NOT survive."

Jordan heard this voice but faintly. He gripped his Keyblade tightly, not knowing to trust this voice, and just growled to himself, "No." The darkness that was coming out of him exploded onto the Heartless that were closing in on him and destroyed them. Again, Jordan began breathing heavily, with passing out iminent.


Devlin waved Virgil off with a smirk before turning his attention to Selena. "Hmph, wouldn't you like to know? Let's just say our boss knows everything revolving those four," he said arrogantly. He turned his attention back to the group in Traverse Town and watched Darian gain his Keyblade. "I might actually have to fight him, huh," he said to himself. He began to laugh at Jordan, for being downed until seeing him practically perspire darkness from every bart of his body. "Well, well, well what is THAT," he said, honestly shocked. He watched for a few more seconds before seeing the large explosion. He clapped his hands and smiled before turning to Selena. "Think you can take him?"


Saïx simply watched the two have their discussion until Virgil began to leave. "Virgil. One more thing," he added on to the conversation, "what do you plan on doing, upon eradication of these children who at one point were all your friends?"


"Did ya see that! The kid practically killed, what, 30 of them with that! Man, he has real potential. Maybe he could be just what the Organization needs," Xigbar asked. Xemnas shook his head in response. The two were in one of the many secret rooms in the castle watching the battle. "There are other more useful things intended for him," Xemnas responded. Xigbar scoffed and returned with, "As if you REALLY have bigger plan for thks scrub, heh...or...dk you?" Xigbar looked at his leader with a confused look as Xemnas began to walk away into a portal. He stopped just before entering it to say, "Truly. Have I remembered this much more than gou have?" he then disappeared, leaving Xigbar baffled.

 

"And do you think that is Devlin's intentions as well? Make them feel how you do? He has never been alone, let's face it. When he didn't have them I am more than sure he found a higher power to align himself witb. But for whatever the reason he has come to you, someone he had probably no intention of seeing again. And to do what? Well, that's the question isn't it? What is it you two are trying to accomplish," Saïx asked with a look of poor genuine honesty. The thought of one destroying their friend could not process through Saïx's mind as he himself could not wish harm onto Axel. Surely Virgil and Devlin had other plans. But what?

 

Saïx threw his arm in front of Axel. "Lea. Let him be. We have no reason to fight him," he said to his friend, slightly looking back at him. He then turned to Virgil and nodded. "I apologize on his behalf. He's a bit of a...hothead." He then turned to face Axel. "Now is neither the time nor place to get ourselves killed or make enemies Lea. There is a time and place for everything. Remember that," he said silently to Axel.

 

Devlin looked at the intruder with much hostility before pushing him off and brushed himself off. "Am I supposed to know you," he snarled. He turned to Virgil and said, "Hey Virgil, you let a fly get in." Devlin had reacted as if he had never seen Axel a day in his life. Although he reacted in a hostile way, he knew that he probably in some way did meet this stranger.


Jordan looked up to see Will grinning at him, in an almost eerie way. Very quickly, a smile found its way onto Jordans face as well before he caught it and started stumbling away. He fell to his knee once more but this time at the feet of a small person with large ears. Jordan breathed heavily, trying to catch his breath before looking up to see the stranger. He gave a small chuckle and smiled at him. "Great, does everyone have one of these," he said gesturing to his Keyblade.
