Kingdom Hearts: Multiverse

Notes: This is something that I've been thinking of writing for a long time, but dropped the idea back when I was active on Fanfiction.net. I've always liked the idea to give the villains a chance at being the good guys for once. The other thing that I like is how the Kingdom Hearts series involves other worlds. I've always been into 'major crossovers' so you can be sure this story or series since this is only the beginning of a larger plan will include worlds based off far more then Disney movies and shows.

This takes place around the time of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, but takes an AU turn which changes everything. I hope this turns out good. I haven't written anything is a while.

Prologue

"There have always been both light and darkness in all worlds, but what if there was something else, a force far darker then the darkness itself. For a while these were just rumors, but there have been signs that the time of this new evil is nearing and when it finally arrives nothing would ever be the same..."

Castle of the Stars, Courtyard

Back when she had been given the job of overseeing the signs in the stars Emma had known something was coming. She and her partner Seth had been given this mission a year ago, not knowing much about what they were getting themselves into, but soon they could see signs that something was about to happen.

"Still keeping a look out for trouble?"

Emma turned to see Seth standing at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the castle where they had been staying ever since entering this world a year ago. They were both in their late teens, Seth being eighteen and Emma being seventeen. Even so Seth didn't seem to understand that something was wrong. He normally waited until trouble came to him before he did anything about it.

"Yes," Emma said, turning to look up at the stars again. "And so should you. Whatever we're keeping an eye out for is going to impact all worlds and not in a good way. How about doing something useful and keep an eye out for this evil. We have to be ready."

At that moment there was a loud booming sound in the distance and a bright light shone in the sky directly in front of them. Emma's eyes suddenly shone with the same light and she went into a trance. Out of the two of them she had an extra ability not given to most keyblade wielders. Signs of things to come seemed to always come to her whenever something was about to happen and right now she was getting just that. Soon the light faded and Emma blinked a few times, trying to shake off the after effects of the event.

"What did you see?" Seth asked.

"It was a sign that this evil that's darker then the darkness itself is indeed on it's way," she told him. "We've played our part, but now there are others who'll take up the duty of fighting it."

"Who?"

"Nobodies," Emma continued. "As strange as it sounds an organization of fourteen nobodies are going to be the main fighting force going against this evil. They will have help, but they are the chosen."

"But, Emma, they're nobodies," Seth couldn't believe what he was hearing. "What good can they do?"

"I don't know," Emma continued to look up towards the stars. "But I can't overlook what I've just seen. These fourteen have been chosen and we'll help them out along the way. They'll need all the help they can get."

Seth knew there was no getting through to her, but he also knew that these signs she was always getting were the real deal. He also knew that all worlds were going to be involved so there would be a lot of help if it was needed.

But could a group of nobodies really save all worlds?

Notes: And the Prologue is done. I've thought long and hard about what I'm going to do with this idea and I know it's going to be interesting. It'll include far more then just Disney based worlds and will focus mainly on Organization XIII (plus Xion). Hope this was an interesting enough beginning. I don't want to be writing this for no reason.

 

I am writing this for myself, but I like to get feedback, which helps to keep writing. I did mention that I like giving villains good guy roles so I decided to give it a try here. I already have a lot planned for this so keep a look out. Chapter 1 will be worked on tomorrow morning.
