Bio: Ever since Terra was a child she has posessed strange powers she couldn't control. She is an earth bendder with extremem talent except the fact that she can't control her powers. Every time she is upset or hurt she loses control of them and she even destroyed her own home becasue of it when her mother died due to cancer. As far as Terra knows she killed her whole family by accident and when she learned this she ran away. Ever since then nightmares haunt her dreams from that day and she went searching for someone to help her master her powers once and for all. That's when she ran into Slade, an evil man who said he could help her as long as she would swear her loyalty to him forever. She did as he asked, not knowing what she was really getting herself into. He sent her on an assignment to destroy a team called the Teen Titans and they treated her differently. They treated ler like one of them, for the first time in years Terra felt like part of a family. She ended up loving them but Slade reminded her of her promise to him and made her believe that her friends would turn their backs on her or worse: she would kill them because she couldn't master her powers. Hurt and afraid, she followed Slade and betrayed her friends, nearly destroying their whole city. The last thing she remembers is being inside a volcano that was about to erupt if she didn't do something. Slade was literally controlling her using her own powers against her. With the help of her friends, she killed the Slade and when the Titans tried to get her to come out of the volcano with her she refused, being the only one who could stop it. She stayed inside the volcano and stopped it from erupting but when she woke up she was in Traverse Town.

Bio: Tettra is Terra's older sister. She was very protective of Terra when they were younger and she tried very hard to help Terra to understand her powers. She and her mother never got a long that well. Her mom didn't like Tettra because of her powers, preferring a normal life to it. Despite her mother's protests, Tettra gave Terra her powers when she was a baby as a gift. She left home at fifteen and stopped talking to her mom even the day she died. She often came by to see Terra though. Terra still had her mom's support because Terra was afraid of her gift and never used it at home. It was only when Tettra came over did Terra ever try to bend earth. After the accident Tettra thought her sister had died along with the rest of her family. Since then, she was kidnapped by a team of mercenaries that wanted Tettra's help. Tettra traveled with them, with pain in her heart for her lost family. That pain turned to rage and she now feels nothing. She is quite hollow hearted and kills without remorse. She has no true goal except to cut down anyone who ticks her off.
