Kingdom Hearts II: Neo Organization XIII

"Uhh...no...." Rixais replied to the man as politely as he could. he was not afraid of the man, but he didn't want to make him angry. "Why did you help me anyway?" he asked.

As Terranam wandered around the underworld, she was starting to grow more and more afraid, "Shini, where are you?" she was starting to wish that she had never left Rixais. Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her, she turned around, but nothing was there. When she turned back, she fell back in fear as she was confronted by a large black dog with three heads. As she looked in horror at the beast, she screamed for help, "Shini! Obsession! Rixais! Anyone!"

 

Reonax ignored Xiana's jist and continued his vigil. As the next battle took ended, he saw Garnex get up. "Good . . ." Garnex walked into the center of the arena and stood there waiting for his opponent. His opponent strutted in and placed a firm foot on an iron ball. The announcer bellowed out to the roaring crowd. "Our next battle is: Garnex . . . versus . . . Wakka!!!" Wakka kicked the ball up into the air and spoke to Garnex, "Yo, you ready?!"

Ganrex smiled lightly and summoned one of his blades, "Yes . . . very much."

 

"Trust me son, I've got my reasons to take you with me in this boat. And even if you wouldn't know, you hate me from the bottom of your heart... oh! Just to remember, you don't got one, eh. But since we both are in need to go to the arena, I'll let you pass. And you happen to know one of my... friend of sorts and thus I'll be watching you for the moment." The man raised his hood a little, and underneath could be seen little of a mask....

"Oh, please!" Nate jumped out of nowhere and whistled. "Tceh, come 'ere boy!" The enraged Cerberus followed Nate into the deep caverns while Nate shouted "Get out of here missy, this ain't your type of fight!" Then, they both ran to the caverns below, and the hall was empty - dead silent.

 

Garnex rolled over to the side after Wakka attempted another barrage of attacks. "It would seem that my opponent has no trouble with physical attacks. I cannot get close to him nor stay far away. It would now seem that my only option is to attack him head on." Wakka bounced the iron ball on the arena floor, causing more small crators to be made. "So . . . you ready to get taken down or what?!"

Garnex raised his blade and it began to glow slightly, "Humph . . .!" He moved in with great speed and spun out, swiging his blade. The blade made devastating contact and Wakka fell to one knee and Garnex stood in front of him with a blade pointed to his neck. "This would be the end of the match then?"

In the Underworld, things were moving sluggishly as Hexza sat cross-legged, searching the arena, looking for possible clues to the keyhole. "Reonax had better not have done this on purpose . . . I'm growing bored . . ." As she watched the next match finish she realized that a corridor of darknes was slightly open and a Shadow Heartless emerged from it. Hexza summoned a Dragoon and spoke to it telepathically, "Be wary of our enemies . . . they are in this world too."

 

As the defenders kept coming closer, Fausx kept his sword up tight in his grip. "Bring it!" As they got closer, a voice then yelled "Stop." They stopped and turned around to the source of the voice. They saw someone standing there. The person was in a black cloak and had a white mask on that resembled a demon. He started walking to Fausx. When he got closer to him, he held Fausx's face and said "Hello, Faust."

 

Reonax's eyes averted from the matches and onto Faustx's location. "I sense a dark presence near!" he looked at were Faustx was and his eyes lowered in conviction of the Hollowed that held his comrade. He slowly moved and weaved in and around the crowd that packed the stands. As he got closer to were he was he stopped and hid behind a pillar nearby and looked around the corner at what was going on. His hand opened and a black katana still in its sheath appeared and he held it tightly. He raised the weapon to his chest and slowly pulled out the blade, enough so that the sun could shine on it. Reonax tilted the blade so that it could shine on the Defender Heartless that loomed over Faustx and the mysterious figure that held up. The light intensified and blinded the Heartless and Reonax took the change and charged in, teleporting from side-to-side to confuse the Heartless.

Reonax leaped up with his right foot and spun to the left, allowing him to unleash a brutal kick to the face of one of the Defender Heartless, knocking it back as he threw out the sheath at the Defender to his right, impaling it through the head, destroying it and releasing its heart. He landed on his feet and looked to his left. The Defender raised its shield and Reonax stared directly into the glowing yellow eyes of the dog's head on the shield without fear. He used his psychokinesis to moved the sharp sheath around the large Heartless and into its chest, causing it to move back from the impact of the blow. He disappeared, then reappeared behind it with his black katana raised over his shoulder and whispered to the cloaked figure in a low, cold voice. "We have come here to secure our existence . . . I will not allow your kind to stop us," he ended as he cut down the Defender Heartless and landed on his feet gracefully, yet powerfully.

Reonax's sheath came to him and four more katanas, each altering in their color of either black or white floating at his sides. "I know I told myself not to use too much power, but I shall not tolerate another interference."

 

The man just laughed in Reonax's face. "Hahahahahaha!" "You don't scare me." Then in one second, he appeared behind Reoxas with a energy sword. "I told you that you don't scare me." He then turned to Fausx and said "Hold tight, ice boy." He then kicked Reonax down and appeared behind of Fausx. He then whispered into his ear. "I just want to thank you for supplying me with that castle of yours." "its really comfty." He then teleported away.

 

Reonax slowly got up and dusted his clothing off. His weapons were dispelled and he looked at Faustx and spoke to him in a frank tone. "Faustx . . . what did he mean when you 'supplied' something to him?" Reonax looked at his comrade suspiciously and thought to himself, "He's betrayed the organization before . . . I hope for my own sake that he hasn't done the same thing again."

 

Fausx looked at Reonax and said "I didn't do anything that time." "I don't know that guy but it feels like we battled before." "Hes living in my castle now so that means his headquarters is in the Land of Dragons." He sighed and said "Don't worry." "We'll get him and idenitfy him, Reonax." While they were talking, The man stood on top of a pillar and watched them. "Foolish Nobodies."

 

Reonax sighed with relief, "Good . . . let us get back to the mission then." But as they began to walk back into the Coliseum Reonax still felt the presence of the Hollowed. He did nothing and sat back down in the stands. Immediately, both he and Faustx were pushed into the arena by Garnex. "What is the meaning of this Garnex?"

"Sorry Reonax, they wanted someone to fight next. You two can handle these chaps, they're nothing compared to you guys." Reonax looked at their opponents who stepped into the arena. The girl with the whip and the boy with the hooked sword stepped into the arena and gave each other the thumbs up. The crowd roared in the excitement of a double battle. "NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, A TRUE SITE TO SEE!!! TWO ANONYMOUS MEN HAVE STEPPED IN THE COLISEUM!!! NOW FOR SOMETHING TRULY AMAZING: TEAM ANONYMOUS VERSUS TIDUS AND SELPHIE!!!"

The young man with the hooked sword pointed at Reonax and called out to him, "Yo, you ready for this, I'm not like Wakka you know!"

"HEY WHAT"S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN YA?! T ^T"

 

It took Rixais a few seconds, but he gasped as he recognized the mask. Stepping back, (And nearly stepping off the boat) he summoned his two swords, "Obsession! What are you doing here, heartless?!? And how do you know Terranam?! If you hurt her, then you'll be sorry!"

Terranam got up and looked in the direction Nate and the dog ran with a mixed expression of fear and curiousity, "I shouldn't have been so frightened." she thought to her self. she walk aroung the corner and slowly peeked around it.

 

Reonax summoned a black katana without its sheath and swung it around, so that the blade would be facing the other direction. He brought the handle of the blade up to his chest and he stood still awaiting for one of the two young contestants to attack. Tidus ran towards Reonax and shouted, "All right then, let's do this!" Reonax raised his weapon horzontioally and blocked the vetical attack attepmted by Tidus. "Selhpie take the other guy, I got this one!"

Selphie charged at Faustx whirling her whip in the air, "You got it!" She spun to the left and pulled her arm back. The whip arked down and surged forward to Faustx. Reonax stepped back and blocked effortlessly as Tidus unleashed a quick combo.

 

"Hurt her... I'll be sorry? BWAHAHAHAHA!" Rixais last words made Obsession laugh echoe so badly that it could be heard even to the arena on the surface, as well on the underworld. "Don't you know who're you're talking to? I'm the leader of the Hollowed. How much do you think you can go against me, especially on this boat? And it would be quite ironic that if you would attack me, you would only end up into the depths - teust me, that is even worse fate than ending up to be like me." Obsession took the black coat off and tossed it into to the valley, and it burned in green flames. His normal outfit was releaved now, as well as the mask.

"So tell me Rixais, if you'll make a single swing in this boat, you'll drop. If you'll attack me, you'll die. If you sit nicely there just now, you might survive to the arena to fight with your comrades if they're interested in fighting with me." Obsession then looked Rixais and his eyes. they were calm but still they showed death. "And these things you said about Terranam... how do I know her?" He looked Rixais eye-to.eye. "She's a Heartless."

"Yo!" Nate appeared from a portal to Wrath's side. "Whew, just had to deal with Cerberus down there, nasty one. Not thought the most powerful Guardian of the Unerworld, but anyways." Nate stretched his back a little. "So would you explain once more what were doin' 'ere?"

 

Tidus wouldn't let up as he kept on attacking Reonax. Reonax still in his calm guile, dodged and blocked and at sometimes parried to make the crowd cheer even more. Tidus leaped up and slashged down at Reonax. It looked like he got him but Reonax simply appared behind him after teleporting. "It seems you have seen my after image Tidus . . . Nothing too special." Tidus slashed out with his weapon and panted heavily. Reonax landed on his feet elegantly, displaying the huge power gap between him and Tidus. "You are a little young to be fighting in compettitions like this."

Tidus's body tensed up and he charged at him, "Shut up!" he rushed at Reonax with his full speed and slashed at him again. This time, Reonax held no weapons, but the same katana and its sheath rose up by his psychokinesis and he blocked the attack. "No do you understand? I've held back so much from you."

 

Rixais lowered his weapons for a moment, shocked by what Obsession had told him, "A.....A heartless?" he asked softly. he thought about the lightning storm and the earthquake she had made. he knew it would certainly explain her immense power........ "No......NO! I won't believe it!" The boat arrived to the other side of the lake and the 'shore' was deserted, all the spectators had went inside. Rixais did a long backflip so he landed away from the boat in case he needed room to fight. "You'll pay for the wound you caused me, Hollowed!"

Terranam approached a young woman in a black cloak, standing next to a woman in same kind of black cloak, holding a metal orb with metal symbols on it. Terranam could sense some kind of power emenating from the two women, but she convinced herself that they might be nice. she tugged on the cloak of the woman without the orb and started to speak, "E-excuse me?" she timidly started, "Have you seen a man about your height? he has a strange carnival mask." she thought about the boy she so despratley wanted to see right now, "And a boy my age? his name is Rixais."

 

Wrath looked back at him and said "We're here for Scar." "Also, I want to present Reonax a present from us." "A little gift from Team Wrath." He smiled and said "I really hope Shini finds that statue before Obsession gets his hand on him." "We don't want our little warrior to fall into the other wrong hands." "Am I right, Nate?"

 

Saria was mildly entertained by the match going on in the arena - that was, until a younger girl tugged on her sleeve and asked her something. The Nobody looked at the girl curiously, pondering the question for a moment. But then, it clicked. Terranam had mentioned one of her own teammates, and the matter could not have been coincidence. Obviously, this girl didn't know who she was, and the cloak obscuring her face didn't help much either. Still, the situation could be taken advantage of.

Hexza, this girl knows Rixias. She sent out to her leader, hoping the message would be received. Finally addressing Terranam, she said, "I may have talked to a boy for a minute. . . Maybe my friend here has seen more."

 

Hexza looked over and saw the same Hollowed from before. She wasn't hostile at all so she smiled lightly and moved over to her. "Well . . . if it isn't our little Rixais's admirer?" she said jovially. He looked to the left and the right and thought to herself. "Rixais was supposed to be with my group. I suspect he was with her but I don't know what happened in the past. Reonax would know." She leaned forward and spoke to the girl. "Rixais should be at boats by now. Come with me, Saria, stay here and start to search the perimeter."

 

"Hmm? You don't believe me yet that your relationship could never be allowed by either of us. Bwahahaha!" Obsession stepped from the boat to the shore and glared at the arena, dismissing Rixais. "So this is it... oh yes." He walked past Rixais ignoring that the boy wanted to fight, and at the doors of the arena, he stopped. "Oh! You'll wanted to fight me, hmm? Aren't you just brave enough, the little hero who wanted to defeat the enemy. You're no match for me, son." He stared at Rixais, and made a dark ligtning from his fingertips, which hit Rixais in the chest, making him fly to the edge of the valley. "See boy? I think I'm going to have little fun with you - I bet I can make a good autopsy back in Hollow Bastion!" Obsession smirked.

 

Hexza walked out of the arena, Terranum following her closely. She looked around the lake for signs of Rixais's approach but then looked across the lake and saw Rixais down, black lightning crackling around him. She summoned all of her lances at once and teleported over to Rixais and stood in front of him, separating the distance between him and Obsession. She wrapped her hair up in a beautiful ponytail and looked at Obsession as her lances slowly whirled around her, ready to defend herself.
