KH- The Resistance

He cured himself while jumping in the air he took out one katana and went into Riku,'s sword stance. "One sword for now........" He saw Kylon's speed as elementry. " If this is how you fight......that sword is being wasted....." He apeared behind Kylon and released a firaga and 7 slashes from his sword.

 

Kylon smiled as he being attack. Kylon then rushed in towards Syrock and as he did the blade glowed purple and blue electric volts came out of it. Kylon them jumped in the air and shot of three of his arrows one at a time so swiftly before landing on the ground then continued rushing toward Syrick.

 

"If everything is all set, then I suppose you can have this one single day off." Masen spoke.

Tom breathed deeply. "It's time." He pressed something on his body, causing him to be enveloped in light. When it faded, he was standing in his armor. He tossed his keyblade into the air, the weapon becoming a glider. "I win, the worlds are safe. I lose, then Masen continues mostly unopposed. No pressure." He joked to himself before taking off into space.

 

Syrick almost smiled and took out his other sword. "En guarde........" he jumped into the air released a bunch of dark aura apeared behind Kylons back released a magnera spell a then a thunduga and firaga spell all in less than 10 seconds. "I like that sword of your...its cool looking and powerful too......"

 

Kylon dodged ever attack but the Firaga. Kylon then let off a blue thundaga and a series of dark dark blast towards Syrick. Following after the high speed blast was Kylon who attacked Syrick after the blast did. Then Kylon jumped back and began charging up a huge thundaga blast hoping that Syrick was paralyzed after the series of thundaga and the attack from his thunder blade.

 

Aquus smirked, "Keep up? Don't you worry about that," he said before charging at Nozomi.

Rayna nearly fell out of the chair at Masen's response. She had honestly expected to have more work, but nevertheless she smiled, "Thank you sir," she said, patting Masen on the shoulder before leaving the room. She turned around in the doorway, "I'll report here bright and early tomorrow," she said before heading out the door and the castle. As she passed the other denizens of the ruined world, whether they were Heartless, Nobodies, or other Forgotten, they would give Rayna some form of salute, to which she would tell them 'at ease.' It was the one part of her second-in-command rank that annoyed her. She didn't like to have to stop every ten or so steps to ensure they don't stand like statues all day. Rayna was trying to think of something to do, any being at her intelligence level was busy doing something else. Finally, a thought snapped in her head, "That's what I'll do," she said to herself before vanishing in a flash of light and reappearing in what appeared to be a freezer. Rayna wandered the halls of the frozen room before finally finding what she was looking for, "Here they are!" She said with joy and picked up a blue sea-salt ice cream pop. It was a treat she had loved to eat since she was a new Forgotten, but with her rank she barely had any free time to enjoy it. She often ate them in secret, for when she had offered one to Masen, he expressed disgust. She teleported to the roof of the castle and ate her ice cream while enjoying the view. She knew that this was a place Masen could easily find her, and see her eating the frozen treat, but it was worth it to her, the moment was perfect in her mind. "I shouldn't worry," Rayna thought, "Masen's not gonna get that mad over an ice cream."

 

Syrick was not paralyzed instead he ran over to Kylon used a potion and started a quick attack that lasted ten seconds he had released more than 70 slashes by the time he was done with the barrage. "Done yet............................you cant handle much more..........." He still remained alert just incase he had anything else up his sleeve.

 

Kylon jumped back after the barrage of attacks and used the ran toward Syrick then shot off firaga and then hit him with 140 slashes then jumped back and shot of a Blizarga. Kylon caught his breathe and as he did the blade changed back to normal. Kylon looked at the blade and had seen it reached it's limit but Kylin wasn't finish. Kylon put his blade away and took how his steel bow. Kylon shot of 12 arrows at once then jumped back and used aeroga on the ground under him making him levitate for a minute. He then shot off 12 more arrows. When he finished shooting of the arrows the aeroga went away and he was back on the ground.

 

"You reached your limit I see................................the swords also reached its limit....................." The smoke cleared to reveal a dark shield. "You should know the state of your opponent before releasing a attack that kicks up so much smoke..............." He relesed a sword slash infused with dark energy. "I guess I win.........................................." He sheathed his swords and started to walk away.

 

Another 32 hours sitting in front of the enormous computer screen, Val had been teaching the Tech. Department newbies the arts of hacking and general blocking of incoming database attacks - of course leaving his own best skills to the shadows from the newer recruits as those were only needed at the field. Aside from training the newbies, Val had been checking information about Hollow Bastion and keeping their systems safe that their location remained as a secret. Main objective of this task was to always watch out for any trade ship markings that led to the HQ of the Light Knights, as the enemy was always on patrol keeping the trade routes clear. He usually hacked the data of the nearby satellites either sending them away, erasing the route markings or blow them up for fun sometimes. Oddly enough, when he did that Kilet somehow showed up watching the destruction of the satellites. It didn't bother Val too much, but it really made him wonder how would someone enter the Tech. Department without the codes. Only Andrew, Hooper, the HQ Cook and the Tech. Department staff knew the passwords to the large steel doors that accessed the department.

Stretching his back, he thought that he could use a break sometimes too. Thought that leaving from the Tech. Department was always like seeing the lights or the sun for the first time of his life, it had to be done sometimes. The Department was always foggy because of the fact that usually no one left that room for days (no worries thought, it had it's own place for showers and baths as well kitchen, where the cook frequently visited making them some food), so everybody smoked inside. The other members of the Light Knights sometimes complained about the smell of the smoke when someone had to visit the entrance to pass information, but no one ever dared to anything to it since Val had respect amongst the members, even those that hated him.

Leaving his comfy chair, Val picked up his yellow sunglasses as he walked the hallway to the large steel doors that were the entrance to the Department. As the Department was always dark for the fact that the light coming from the monitors kept it lid enough, Val needed always sunglasses when going out. It would only make his head hurt too much if he was exposed to the light of the nature (or even the lamps inside). That was one the reasons why Val almost never walked outside during the day, since the moonlight was gentle to his eyes - even thought that he never really did go out without the glasses.

Inserting the long 24 digit code to the door with swift presses, the doors began to open slowly. As he stepped outside, the doors closed down behind Val as he began to get up the stairs that led out. And it was always a looong way to go up as they were on the basement floor, where it was three floors below the ground. Making his way up he noticed that Hooper was already waiting for him. He took a quick glance at his digital watch, which was telling the clock would be around 4AM.

"Yo, ya still up?" Val asked from Hooper.
"No, not at all kid. I just woke up. We elders sleep a lot, but get up early. I thought you would already know that", he commented back to Val.
"Aye aye, but you should already know that I happen to forget things pretty soon as I spend most of my time in the underworld."

They kept chattering until managing to climb their way up to the main entrance. The air was little cold as it was still part of the night. Val lighted up his cigarette as Hooper lighted up his pipe. Hooper usually got around good with everybody, and Val was the opposite. He didn't really care if people didn't like him, it's almost like he wouldn't had even cared when his existence would be ending. It was nice that he had a friend that he could talk to about some things, at least.

"You nervous about the mission today?" Hooper soon asked Val.
"Nah, not really. I've lived there, and I've hacked the system once before. 'ought that it isn't the same anymore, I bet."
"I think that the other members are nervous thought, that I already heard from patrol that some of our members fought against each other. Friendly spar or not, it drains your vital stamina before the mission and could cost a life." Hooper said as he slightly shroud his head in embarrassment thinking of the younger ones.
"Idiots, I would say. And I don't really trust in the way that our so-called-leader is going to take us to the pits."

There was a little pause in their talk as they both focused on the camp below where soldiers were already making arrangements for the upcoming operation.

"How so?" Hooper then asked Val.
"You know. We usually have a meeting with the members who are attending the field at the court room."
"Ah, that! I had completely forgotten."
"So I'm not really sure if we're going to survive this time... thought that some other missions didn't have the meeting either."

They both then stopped and just smoked under the moonlight waiting if Andrew would call the meeting or not. Either way, it was not going to be long 'til morning.

 

" You won but your the one walking away...I'm barely hurt..oh well I'll let you get off easy this time" Kylon said. Kylon began to grow made because hadn't perfected his sword and noticed it wasn't at its maximum level. " Hey Syrick! same time tommorow and this time try not to quit on me ok."Kylon yelled out to Syrick as he walked away. Kylon but his noe back on his back and began walking back to the forge.

 

"Hmph....................that sword was nicely made.........only put in a better weilders hand it could be put to much better use........." Syrick walked to his room and went to his labtop and entered a file called stats and entered Kylon as a rank C. "Not too bad........but there is definitely room for improvement....." He entered the date and time on the ladtop shut it down and hit the books.

 

Andrew grinned and slowly started to step forward.

"I hope to see some of that action tomorrow, and when I say hope, I mean expecting." Andrew stated a smirk on his face while he walked over to the two exhausted fighters.

"Hey folks, lights will be off earlier tonight," Andrew started. "like in the briefing..." he mumbled before continuing, "So I'd advise all of you to report back to your rooms and rest up for we got a long day ahead of us." Andrew spoke out loud enough for all the rest of the people training in the room to hear him.

"Good work especially you two though, and if I don't see this action tomorrow the two of you will have the honors of cleaning this mess up when we get back." Andrew told them though still knowing very well that every mission they went on was dangerous and the when should actually be an if. Which was why he was there.

"Nozomi, a word?" Andrew stated stepping back from Aquus. Though the small little message he was going to give her, she's probably heard several times from him, but him as a keyblader, the son of one of the last known keyblade masters, and leader of the Resistance, the dangers could happen of him being killed or taken hostage.

"Nozomi, our mission you already know is going to be dangerous, if something were to happen to me you have to step in as new leader." Andrew told her in a small whisper.

 

Aquus had an expression that said he had to pull out all the stops, for he only used guns when he was on his last legs. "A tie then," he said with a smile, putting the gun away and taking back his sword. He sheathed it, but the blue light still faintly shown from it. He then turned his attention to Andrew and gave a quick salute, "Sir," he said, genuine respect in his voice, "I am truly glad you are proud of our strength, and I asure you we will not let you down tomorrow." Aquus had always gotten along with Andrew, not just because he was his leader but because the two had some things in common. He noticed that he said something to Nozomi, but he had to ask before he turned in for the night, "Sir.....I know I have asked multiple times, but......may I see your Keyblade once more?"

"How long have I been flying in this darkness?" Tom muttered to himself. He may not have known how long ago he left the world he was last on, but he did know where he was going. He could sense the darkest part of the world as a whole. He knew that's where Masen would be. The strange thing though, was that he felt like Masen was watching him, grinning the whole time. This feeling sent a massive shiver down his spine. What made this even more strange was Tom's travels. Usually he would have to go from world to world in an irradic path to avoid any gummi ships. But this whole time Tom had been traveling in a straight line towards Hollow Bastion.

 

Rayna had just exited the freezer with her breakfast, another sea salt ice cream, and began rapidly teleporting closer and closer to the castle. She didn't do this because it was her limit, but because the rapid change of scenery seemed to wake her up. Finally she was outside Masen's office, and she gave a quick yawn and took a bite of the ice cream before heading inside. Rayna stretched her arms as she casualy walked into Masen's office, a sea salt ice cream in her hand, "Good mornin' Boss, sleep well?" Rayna joked, taking another bite of her treat. Then Rayna snapped from her slouching position to a perfect posture. She looked to the sky, then turned to Masen, "What's going on Masen?" She asked, "I can feel Light somewhere out there in the Lanes Between."

 

Andrew turned to him and shrugged. He extended his arm as his keyblade appeared in a quick flash of light. Andrew gripped the handle and allowed Aquus look over it but not letting him take the keyblade out of his hands.

Andrew nodded once he knew Aquus had plenty of time to look over it. He swung his arm to his side the keyblade disappearing.

"Well the two of you should go to bed, now I need to go myself and prepair for tomorrow." Andrew told them before leaving and heading back to his room.

 

"Disney Castle and the outlying town is one of the few worlds that we haven't conquered. The Cornerstone of Light is still there." Masen answered Rayna. "Not only may you be detecting the light that is there, but there is the probability that people are on their way from there to attack us. But you needn't worry about them. Just another simple resistance force, probably full of children who don't know how to properly fight. None of them deserve my attention right now. Execute them all when the troops capture them."

 

Syrick arrived in the training center with a group of people who wanted to see the fight. "Hmph..............where is he.............." He started training to make the wait less boring practicing his magic and other things that would prove useful against Kylon. "He doesnt stand a chance..............." He took out his mp3 player and put on some hard rock which would be fitting for what was coming.
