    Val blinked a few times, and looked around confused.
    "Um...wasn't I talking to someone???" Val shrugged. "I need to lay off the video games."

    Val went over to the drink stands, and noticed Charlie acting dumb.

    "High School Theatre, you gotta love it." He sighed, and went to find Hope again.

    "I swear, I'm gonna need therapy after tonight."

    Hope walked back into the ballroom, a little frustrated that she couldn't find out what that girl was crying about. She hoped whatever it was would get better. Faith wouldn't like it if something went wrong at her prom. She saw Val looking around and walked over to him, "Sorry I kinda ditched you back there..." she said with a smile, "Faith had a job for me and you know how she gets when things aren't going perfect."

    Hope was taken off guard by the question. She was speechless for a second, not exactly sure what to say. After a few seconds, she realized she was making him more nervous by not answering and she smiled brightly, "Oh, sure Val. I'd love to."
