Kh-3 Prom/masquerade

Jesse sat next to Kyuu and took a bite out of a rib.

 

Kyuu smiled at her parents who sat opposite them. Her mom smiled a little and started eating.

 

"So sir, Where do you work?"

 

"I'm working as a lawyer." he said.

 

"And you ma'am?" He asked Kyuu's mom.

 

She smiled, "I'm just an nurse in the hospital." she said.

 

"Great jobs. I'm thinking about writing stories for videogames."

 

"Hmm, that sounds interesting." her dad said. Her mom rolled her eyes and mumbled, "Videogames.." Kyuu smiled. They seemed to get along pretty well.

 

"Have you noticed that even the world economy is pretty bad, you never hear of the videogame industry being affected. It's thriving like never before, it's a great industry to get into."

 

Her dad nodded, "That's true." he looked at her wife. She smiled a little, "Well then.."

 

"I want to make alot of money to support Kyuu and my future family."

 

"You're a good boy." her mom said and smiled.

 

Jesse smiled, "Thank you."

 

Her dad smiled a little and Kyuu grinned, "The food is delicious."

 

"Thanks, I made it myself."

 

Her mom smiled, "You're a good cook." she glanced her daughter, "Better than she." Kyuu looked at her mom and smiled, "Oh, thanks a lot, mom."

 

Jesse smiled, "She's wonderful." He said to Kyuu.

 

Kyuu rolled her eyes and then smiled, "Maybe, maybe not." she grinned.

 

Jesse smiled, "For you to love someone as worthless as I am you must be a kind, wonderful person."
