I Think It's Time (Tourney Time That Is!)

Plan B is for each pair of opponents to agree upon a battle location. Then you may post away. I swear I already explained this.

 

Your opponent has already been chosen (at random). Don't any of you read? Look back two pages in the post my character is on. You'll find out who.

 

Ummm.... I suppose you could just be the winner unless you would like for someone to be brought in from to battle you.

 

I can try and get someone else in to replace shadow.

 

But then we come to the issue of evening out the matches so that everyone fights in every round.

 

I mean another rper to fill the spot. Needless to say that if you made to the semifinal or final rounds with both characters, it wouldn't be much of a tournament.

 

It wouldn't be fair to everyone else if you were permitted to use two
characters.

 

I would be inclined to agree with you, Zerieth, were this not the first round.

 

It all comes down to the way I've been trying to operate the tournament. My intention is for each round to break down the competition into separate brackets. Basically, the winners and losers of this round will be split into two groups, and then into four pairing for the final round to determine the placement of each member. If we have less then 8, then the loser bracket for round two needs to be tweaked to adequately determine things.

Of course, I could always make this an elimination tournament. But then people wouldn't be able to keep participating after they lost a battle.
