Hey, Blade. I'm a little confused, isn't the Shadow Tag skill on your character the same as the teleporting ability?

 

no, it only works if he touches another person's shadow. say if the light came from the bottom (like a glass floor with lightbulbls underneathe) and the shadows are too high for my character to reach, it would be useless

 

Could you explain it a little more in depth (With an example, if you wish), please? I'm having a hard time understanding it. I apologize.

I guess I may as well explain Shadow Transfer and Shadow Tag. I’ll add them to the profile later.
Conditions of the skills:
he must touch the shadow of the object
the size of the shadow must be equal or greater to his size in 2- Dimension

Shadow Transfer: basically, he becomes one with the shadow. This skill is used to travel through inanimate or non-moving objects and appear at any point, but is limited to staying only on the solid parts that the shadow is touching.

Example 1: can travel through power lines’ shadow (they may be skinny, but shape doesn’t matter as long as the entire shadow is equal to or bigger than his)

Example 2: a building. He can travel the ground or the wall that the shadow touches.

Shadow Tag: a higher version of Shadow Transfer. He still becomes one with the shadow, but this time he can appear anywhere (ground, air, next to the source of shadow). But it’s limited to only live or moving objects.

Example 1: a moving cloud. Once he touches its shadow, he can appear under cloud, in the air between the cloud and the ground, or just appear on the ground.

Example 2: an eclipse. When the moon (a moving object) is in the way of the sun and makes a shadow, he can appear on the surface on the moon. Although, it is a stupid idea to do that so he just appears within the world’s atmosphere. The eclipse is the best shadow for him because the moon’s shadow is covering a huge portion of land so he can appear anywhere within the shadow. But eclipses are rare and short.

Example 3: a flying plane. If he is lucky enough to catch the incoming shadow of a plane, he can appear right underneath it and use his arm blades to stick to it.

Example 4 a: a flying bird (low altitude). The shadow is small so he can’t “teleport” to the bird.
Example 4 b: a flying bird (high altitude; bigger shadow). He can move around in the shadow up to the point where the shadow is too narrow.
Strengths of Shadow Transfer/Tag: he becomes one with the shadow so he is almost impossible to find can go as fast as the speed of darkness (equivalent to speed of light{maybe?}) can travel through connected shadows able to change shape of his shadow to fit the size of another shadow reappear at a point in his normal shape
example: his shadow is like a snake (although you can’t see it anyway) but there are needles all over the ground within the shadow. They’re too clumped together for his whole body to emerge at once. He focuses on one point of free room and forms one hand there. The rest of his shadow will climb up on top of that until he is in a handstand position
Weaknesses of Shadow Transfer/Tag: as a shadow, he is flat so any attack that happens to pierce through his shadow will be like a pierce through his body the skills will be canceled if a light clears the shadow away and he will have to reappear
