I-spy

Two hours had passed since Tyler had left HQ,

"Sky were is my Guitar case?" Tyler asked waking her up.

Tyler's shirt and jacket were covered in blood and he had a look of worry on his face.

"Were is it?, I left it right here" He said in a worried panic.

 

“Two more minutes please,” Sky said as Tyler desperately tried to awake her.

“Guitar… your guitars right here,” She mumbles while still asleep. She reached out her hand to try and feel for where the guitar once was. Feeling nothing but space she awoke instantly.

“It was right here! I know it was.” She began to panic. Wiping away the crust from her eyes she quickly began to blink, making sure she just was seeing things clearly enough.

“Tyler, I swear it was here. I’ll find it for you I swear.” Sky rose quickly and tried to keep her balance. Where could it have gone, it should still be here, somewhere in headquarters. I’ll ask around.

 

"No its, fine ill get it my self" Tyler said taking of his jacket and shirt and throwing them in a lump to the floor in the corner,

Tyler left were Sky was and began searching the base, "Where the hell is it!" Tyler said to himself,

"Ah i cant find it!" Tyler said louder than he had intended.

 

Sky could hear Tyler yell. Oh, this is bad. I wonder what was in that guitar of his, a new weapon perhaps. But it was locked so that’s good I guess.

Sky leaned against the wall where she had fallen asleep and curled herself into a ball. This is all my fault, I always create problems for him. Maybe I should just leave, for good. Wrapping her arms around her knees she began think about the situation in greater depth.

 

"Wha...what" Tyler said as he saw the top of what he thinks to be his guitar case,

"Oh thank God, Its here, Sky i found it" Tyler said with the utmost joy

Tyler opened the lock on the case opened it quickly and pulled out his t-shit, Oh thank god" he said as he put it on.

 

Sky let go of her knees, Tyler’s voice had awaken her from her thoughts. He found it, that’s good. No thanks to me I see. She sighed. It had been a lazy day for Sky, she had gained quite a lot of energy from her power nap against the radiator.

“Come on Sky, where’s your happy face?” She said out loud. Where is my happy face? She pondered. She heard her stomach grumble, its food time, hehe. She began to walk the hall ways of headquarters in search of the kitchen. Sky couldn’t cook but I guess she could try. That had to be something Sky was good at. I’ll find it out day.

 

"Sky?" Tyler asked when he put his head through the hole in his T-shirt

"Sky..were are you?" Tyler asked following some clanging noise he heard in what he guessed was the kitchen.

 

“Ahhh you stupid frying pan!” Sky yelled. She had found her way into the kitchen, but she had no idea what she was doing. On the table in front of her were the random ingredients she had found when raiding the fridge. The way this is going, I'm was lucky I haven't caused a fire yet.
Sky was about to pick up a carrot when she had accidently knocked over a glass. She helplessly watched it fall to the floor and smash into tiny little shards.

“oh no,” she said attempting to pick the broken pieces up with her hands.
“Ouch!” She bit her lip to try and stop her from cursing, a shard of glass had cut the side of her hands. Blood had begun to create a crimson puddle on the floor, just below her arm. The pain was unusually unbearable, it was not a regular small wound. What type of glass shard creates an injury like this!?! She began cursing the broken pieces.

“I’ll destroy you all,” she yelled mindlessly to the pieces of glass. Jumping around in agony she had managed to knock down every saucepan within her radius. She had created racket which began to echo through the hallways of headquarters.

"Argh!" she screamed.

 

"Sky?..What the hell...." Tyler lost his train of thought as he saw the chaos that was in the kitchen, "What in the hell happened here?" He asked

"Sky? what happened to your arm?" Tyler said rushing over, he saw the glass shards on the floor and assumed she had cut herself on a shard of glass,

"C'mon lets get you cleaned up" Tyler said picking her up under the arms so she didnt destroy anything else,

"Now sit down here and ill get the first aid kit" He told her.

 

Sky began to flush red, she was embarrassed to even look at the chaos she had created.
She sighed, I see nurse Tyler will forever be looking after me. She wanted to get up, she could hear her stomach growling. She remembered there was a chocolate bar in the fridge, but did she dare get up again? How much havoc could she cause within two minutes? Sky decided she was willing to risk it, her stomach was over powering her. She seemed to given to it a lot. Rising to her feet she could see she was leaving a blood trail, I hope they have cleaners here, I don’t want to clean this up. She was looking at the kitchen as a whole, she had massacred the place.

“I don’t remember this being here,” she said puzzled. She was staring at a gun on the floor, it didn’t belong to her. Is it Tyler’s? She wondered. Picking it up in inquisitiveness she put it into her pocket. I don’t think its Tyler’s, but who else would have one of these? She tried to forget about the gun and made her way towards the fridge, she had knocked down a set of cutlery, well if I was going to destroy the place, I might aswell have done a completed job of it. She said to herself while she noticed the rolling pin she had earlier placed on the table had fallen and rolled towards her feet.

 

Tom heard all the commotion that happened inside the kitchen. He then felt inside each of his pockets. He couldn't find anything in them. "Oh crap!" He thought to himself. "Where'd my gun go? Come on! That's my favorite gun too. Oh man, where did I leave it?"

 

"What do you think your doing!" Tyler said in a loud voice, He then began laughing as he saw that Sky had gotten a fright.

"Im sorry" Tyler finely said as he stopped laughing

"C'mon sit down" Tyler told her, Tyler saw Sky take something out of the fridge and then after knocking down some more cutlery she sat down in the chair,

"Wow, thats a deep cut" Tyler said as he went in for a closer look.

"What were you doing?" Tyler asked.

 

Sky couldn’t really explain what exactly she had done to create the wound.

“I…was…er…cooking?” She said, the word cooking could not usually be used in a sentence referring Sky. Looking at Tyler’s worried face she was not sure if the wound was of much importance compared to her discovery of a gun. Should I tell him? He’d just take then gun from me. I don’t want him to do that, but then again, who does it belong too. Why is it here? Why can’t I figure things out? Why do I cause so much destruction in a kitchen? Her thoughts began to bombard her with questions as she looked at the devastation around her.

“Tyler, I found this while you were gone.” Sky handed the gun over to Tyler, he was better experienced in handling such weapons.

 

"Huh....a gun? Were was it?" Tyler asked Sky

"Its not one of mine" Tyler told her,

"Well don't worry about it for the moment, We need to get you to a hospital, your going to need stitches" He said wrapping a large bandage over her arm to prevent loss of blood,

 

Sky didn’t care about her hand, to tell the truth she couldn’t feel anything. The loss of blood had turned her hand numb and she was more concerned with the gun. Nevertheless she did as Tyler said.

“Yes,” she replied. She didn’t want to go to hospital, but did she have a choice? She wanted to see Alex, or at least have a chance to sort things out with Nicky. She never even managed to talk to the other members. There was so much on her agenda yet there was no time. Obstructions kept her from doing the things on her list.

 

"An ambulance is on the way" Tyler told her returning to the room closing his mobile,

"So ill clean up and come along, If you want that is" Tyler said as he began sweeping the floor and mopping it.

 

Sky watched Tyler sweeping up the mess. The thought of going to hospital didn’t appeal to her. She began to feel a bit woozy.

“Do I have to go to hospital?” She asked. She’d much rather spend some time at headquarters, she hadn’t explored the building yet.

“It’s raining,” Sky protested. She began to think of more excuses to put off going.
“I haven’t had lunch.” She really didn’t want to bring up the subject of lunch, it was how she got into this mess in the first place.

 

"Ill tell you what, You can go to the hospital or you can let me stitch up your arm" Tyler told her as he finished cleaning the kitchen.

"And as for the lunch thing, I can cook" Tyler said pulling out a first aid kit he had in some bags.

 

Sky really didn’t want to go to the hospital, it reminded her of her orphanage. She cringed at the thought.

“Will you stitch up my arm then?” She smiled at Tyler.
She could feel someone walking nearby, maybe just down the hallway from where the kitchen was. Should I tell Tyler? She shook her head and thought it was best if she ignored it.

“So what are you going to cook?” She looked at the kitchen, he’d probably make something yummy in no time.

 

"Yeah not a problem" Tyler smiled to her.

"But what about the ambulance" He asked himself, "Just give me a minute" He told her as he picked up a frying pan and walked into the hallway,

*DinG* The frying pan could clearly be heard as it was hit of off something,

Tyler walked back into the kitchen with a large dent in the frying pan,

"Well that's useless now" He said throwing it in the bin

"Now than your arm" He said sterilizing a needle and begging to sew up Sky's arm
