I-spy

Sky just mindlessly waited for the arrival of Tyler. He’s taking ages, she thought. She began to stare at the clock which was hanged up on the wall opposite her. “Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock” She has started to makes impressions of the clock just to past some time.

“So Alex, how was your day out with Nicky?” Sky wouldn’t usually ask questions as such, but she was really bored. Do you think he would even answer that? Not that I could care if he did…. Damn it why is time going so slowly. Sky began to get agitated and paced the kitchen.

“I’m going to for a walk, maybe just around headquarters.” She said before Alex could even give a reply to her question. Sky seemed to power walk the hallways, she was in no rush however to others it may have seemed that way.

“Huh?” She paused. That’s strange, I’ve never seen this hallway before. She wasn’t sure if she should change her path and go in the new unknown hallway. This could kill some time, I guess.
The hallway seemed to be narrower than the usual ones within the building, it almost looked abandoned. How old is headquarters? She asked herself whilst brushing the cob webs out her path. She didn’t know whether to turn back or not, she seemed to get one of those eyrie feelings here. The ones people tend to have in scary movies before the mass murdered jumps out of nowhere and stabs the person to death.

 

“AHHH” Sky let of a loud scream which seemed to echo throughout the whole of headquarters. She began to panic as she looked at the dead guy before her. Is he dead?!?! She saw him move a bit.

“AHHHHHH,” She let out another scream, Zombie!?!??! she thought as she began to tremble with fear. She wanted to run but her legs had ceased up on her. The one bulb which had given the hallway light had begun to flicker. It slowly turned off and left Sky and the unknown person in the dark.

“Eeep,” Sky whispered, she wanted to get away. At the same time she didn’t want to tread on the body. What am I going to do, she pondered as she began to feel for the walls.

 

The body had just talked and Sky had totally zoned out for a second.

“Iki who!!!!” She yelled in state of confusion and distress. She wanted out, but couldn’t see. She decided to make a run for it in the opposite direction, but being the klutz of the century that she was she tripped over a strange puddle on the floor.

“Ah” she yelped as she tried to grab onto anything in reaching distance.

 

“Ouch my hair,” Sky said hastily. She was not too fond of Ikito ever since he pushed her off a building.

“Help you get up? What about me!” She angry argued.

“And Alex, he should be in the kitchen.” She said whilst attempting to get up single handed, She found this a great obstacle for falling over had awakened the pain in her right hand.

 

Tom walked into the kitchen rubbing his head. "I gotta remember to get back at Tyler." He looked around for a moment. "Hey Alex, I think I might have left something in here. You wouldn't happen to have seen it, would you?"

 

Tyler arrived back at the HQ and walked into the kitchen.

"Oh finally got out of hospital did you?" Tyler laughed at Tom

"Where's Sky?" He asked as a general question.

 

Using a lighter Sky had happened to be carrying her pocket, she lit a small flame. It was hard to see in the hallways but she had to bear with the little she had. I should make my way back to the kitchen. Tyler’s probably back by now. She thought as she retraced her steps.

“Now, lets see. The kitchen was that way?” She said as she turned to her left. The hallway looked no different from the previous. The only difference was this one had light. She turned out the little flame of the lighter she had been using.

 

Nicky walked to where Alex was and stood next to him. She was in fresh clothing. She looked at Alex.

"So what'cha doin?" Nicky asked.

 

"Well my rooms pretty instalated so no, if there was a scream though let's go find it!" Nicky exclaimed looking at Alex a tad confused.

 

"Never went to the hospital." Tom answered. "My head is hard enough to stop serious damage. And as for Sky.... I think she's exploring the place." He then paused for a moment. "Hey, I think I might have left something in here. You wouldn't happen to have seen it, would you?"

 

"Maybe that's why your so thick" Tyler laughed

"And that thing you lost, depends on what it was" Tyler answered Tom

"But since you weren't helpful i don't care" Tyler told him

"Now if you'l excuse me i must find Sky" Tyler said walking out the kitchen and following a random hallway.

 

“Maybe it’s this way?... Oh wait I think I just came back from there. Errr how bout this way?” Sky continuously asked herself. The truth was she was lost and had no idea where she was going.
How does someone get lost in Headquarters ?! Sky your such a …. Your such a… ermm I don’t know what, but whatever it is your it! She said to herself, it appeared that she was having her own little conversation in her head.
A couple of minutes had past and she saw a staircase. She could tell that it was a fire escape.
Should I go up it? She thought. She knew that her ideas of exploring the places always got her lost or into trouble.

 

"Fine, I'll help you." Tom said as he followed Tyler. "And incase you were wondering, the thing I'm missing is a gun. I think I left it in the kitchen."

He was sure that Tyler had seen his gun. He knew that Tyler would have noticed if there was something there that wasn't usually in a kitchen.

 

"A gun? There dangerous what are you doing with a thing like that?" Tyler asked

Tyler was a few feet ahead of Tom and planed on keeping it that way, He didn't like anyone being beside him unless it was, of course Sky.

 

"I like to collect guns." Tom answered. "And besides, what are you doing with guns? I know that guitar case of your's doesn't have a guitar in it. So aren't you being a hypocrite when you say that guns are dangerous?" Tom didn't try to quicken his pace to keep up with Tyler.
