I Solemnly Swear I am Up to No Good

As the firework bulleted through the halls with a loud sound, quite a few students noticed the trail of fire and opened their doors to see what it was all about. There were questions shouted at eachother, the voices of the curious students began to rise. Danni was pretty sure if they didn't be quiet the other prefects or a teacher would come to investiagte.

Kay also seemed to notice this because she shot Tom a furious glare before she walked out into the hall, making sure to put on her prefect pin so that people would listen to her. "Now there's nothing to see everyone."

Danni smiled, if Kay wanted to get them in trouble, she would have let the teachers keep talking. So she finished Kay's sentance in a whisper to the others

"Yet."

Kay kept talking "Just go back to your groups." The doors were closed as the students reluctantly went back to their busness. Kay used a levitation spell to bring back the firework, also using a spell to make it stop doing its firework thing. She walked back to the others with the firework in her hand. "No I think it deffinately counts, Tom." she said as she handed it back to him "This had just better be one hell of a lightshow." she said reluctantly.

 

Kay made as if she were going to argue with him but then she just sighed, "ha ha ha." she said sarcasticly "And just to be sure you know, if anyone does end up getting hurt I'm going to kill you."

Danni laughed a little but other than that she really had pulled herself out of the conversaton. She had gone back into the thoughtful attitude she had been in before. She wasn't sure if Cass and Will were going to help Tom create maddness usually she was pretty good at it but at the moment there was something on her mind. She sat down, still in between Cass and the window looking down at her hands on her lap.

 

Kay shrugged "Would you just do your thing before I change my mind about all of this." she said irritably. She absoultely refused to actually help set up the fireworks she figured that Will, Cass, or Danni would though Danni looked sick about something at the moment. She shrugged. "And if they ran into something then its still caused by the fireworks wether or not they shouldn't be startled by the firework its an uncontrolable thing and so I still blame the firework and by the firework I mean you."

 

Kaylee shrugged as she pushed Will back "Summer would have been more fun if my parents would get off my back about Cass." she laughed. "I appologise I didn't respond to anyones letters. I really did try but it makes it hard to write back to my friends when my parents dislike them." she sighed "Can you believe how silly the adults are these days." she laughed a little. "Now as we were saying before, when exactly do you plan on blowing up the train?" she was being really sarcastic about the whole blowing up the train thing.

Danni shrugged, she was half listening to the others. "I'm ok." it was somewhat a lie but she would rather not get everyone worked up over something stupid. She smiled, suprised to see it was easy after she put her mind to it. "We better help Tom and Will before Kaylee's prediction of blowing up the train becomes reality."

 

Kaylee sighed "You cant blow up my housemates William." she said "It just wouldn't do for me to be the only Slytheren in the common room. That would get lonely." she laughed a bit, her mood lightening though she still didn't look too happy about the stunt she was letting Tom and William pull. She wondered why Cass and Danni weren't participating in the holiganism. Danni didn't look well... she decided that she didn't need to worry about it though. Cass was there for her. She looked back at Tom and Will, and the light at the end of Tom's wand that was getting smaller by the second.

As the light got smaller, Danni got a bit more anxious. She wasn't scared about getting in trouble. Tom had hidden them well enough that she was pretty confident no one would find out where they came from and even if they did get caught, it wouldn't be the first time she and her friends had been in detention. She reached up to cover her ears as the train began to slow at the stop in front of the school. The light was getting a lot smaller she was pretty sure that right when the train stopped, the fireworks would activate.

 

As the alarmed students shrank back into their cars to avoid the fireworks, prefects and adults took it in an entirely different way. Danni stood up as one bright gold colored firework that had been speeding past their doorway began to explode but then fell to the ground and a grouchy faced woman with her greying red hair pulled tightly into a bun behind her head and very large dark tinted glasses came into view. It was the herbology teacher Professor Ferne. She was always in a sower mood especially when it came to Danni and her friends. "Well well well." she said irritably as she looked at Tom's and Will's wands that were still out and in their hands. The fireworks continued to scream around the halls behind her, students were still panicing and every once in a while a student would run past her or a prefect could be seen trying to put a stop to the chaos. "I'm not at all suprised to see the four of you behind this little scheme." she said, drumming her arms crossed and her fingers drumming against her elbow.

It was obvious to Danni that she was really trying to control her temper when a firework exploded right behind her, knocking her hair out of it's bun and making her jump nearly a foot in the air. Danni tried to stiffle a laugh behind her hand.

"Miss Brooks!." Professor Ferne barked.

"Yes Professor?" Danni said, trying really hard to stop laughing.

The professor just sighed, giving up on the operation of making her stop laughing "You five will stay in your car." she said "Until the train is empty. We will decide what to do with you four before you enter the school." she ran away, trhough the chaos. Still muttering something about how annoying it was that these four would have detention before they even stepped foot in the school.

As soon as she was gone Danni gave up trying to at least appear serious and she started laughing. "Did you see her face."

 

Danni was actually taking being in the car of the train rather well. She would rather be in there than out in the halls trying to get through the crowded halls where the students were still panicing. The very thought of being in that tight of an environment freeked her out a little and the idea of being under the invisibility cloak wasn't that good for her either. She sighed 'i'm being a baby' she thought to herself, irritably.

Kaylee seemed to notice the look on Danni's face because she shook her head "William calm down a bit." she said trying to be a bit more quiet. She was use to Danni's clasterphobia and so was everyone else in the car. "I think it would be unwise to run off in the middle of this chaos." she shrugged "Besides I think that Ferne will have a miniature heart attack if you two aren't here when she gets back and then we'll have Aurors on our backs for murdering a Professor."

Danni looked a bit suprised "Did you just joke?" she said, pretending to be shocked.

"Hahaha." Kaylee said sarcasticly.
