Hunters

Reon put away the picture and looked back at looked at Wolf. "Sir, I've had a serious score to settle with Grahl. You know my training, top of the elite S-class class of the year. Grahl told me when I was very young . . . after one of his raids on my hometown, that he'd be ready for me." Reon slipped three different sized knives into his leg sheaths on his Hayabusa MJOLNIR armour and looked up top to retrieve a weapon. It was a katana in a cast iron steel casing. "This weapon was giving to me by my drill sarge . . . he's dead now."

 

"What ever. I think it's time to fly." Zain called to Reo and Wolf. "Shall we dance among the stars dodging and dealing death as we go?" He laughed at the apparent wisdom in his voice, as he was more a fly boy than anything else. He set to powering on his ship, and yelling at techs to watch his pain while they reloaded and repaired his missile launchers.

 

Wolf looked at Reo "You can't do this, he'll destroy you! He knows the combat strategies i taught you! He should know he was the one who taught them to ME!" Wolf said standing up to Reo's level. He looked as Reo got ready for battle with a determined and furious look in his eyes "Your throwing your life away, kid! You haven't even made Sgt. Yet! You don't know what this kind of combat is! I would know i'm a Command Major Sgt. 4th Class! I've been through worse then this, somthing like this is somthing your not ready for. You have to reconsider!" Wolf said as he continued watching Reo pack

 

"Nice one capitan." He then chuckled and watched as the laser started flying. He then said "Reo." "Becareful." "We can't lose you an important soldier like you." He then looked as the lasers were to decrease. "We're losing power on the lasers Zain." "We're going to have to shut them off."

 

Will grinned as he brought the nose of the ship by the freighter's open hull, sending missiles into the huge gap. "Not that easily fooled Grahl." He whispered, watching the freighter start to collapse and implode. He then spun, heading straight for the other freighter and to Grahl. "Now for payback..." He growled, memories arising. The Spartan II's final mission and Grahl destroyed his whole unit. The same day he was made a Petty Officer Third Class he lost his friends... his family... and now he would pay.

 

Wolf walked into the cockpit of the ship "Will, the best way to board the ship is to beam up into the wasteworks, the lowest floor in the ship, it's like a sewer down there and they have little security, probably. They won't see us coming untill it's too late, i sugest we try that approach" Wolf said as he watched Will fly towards Jaklahn's ship

 

"Gee, you think?" Zain asked, then slapped his ship to ship comm. "He's got a good point. Everyone on board that monster will be to busy at their stations to worry about us. It's our best way in, assuming we can get past their defense screen." This last bit was directed at all the fighters between them and their target. "Lasers powering off." "Shut up. Re route power from non essential functions to forward cannons. I'd rather go without my lights than become a sitting duck. Power down all lighting except for in the forward cockpit." "Following command. Laser cannons now functioning at 68%." Zain had a grim face on as he said, "Better that than nothing."

 

Reo smashed the hangar doors with his hand and leaned out, looking into the infinite space. He put on his helmet and holstered his USP and his Desert Eagle and turned back to the leader. "Sir, with all due respect, I don't want to hear it." He looked back out and turned on the ignition of his suit. "I only have fuel for two trips, gotta make it count!" He readied himself and caught site of Grahl's ship and leaped into the endless abyss of space. His jets plummed out forcefully and he made it just in time before the hangar in Grahl's ship closed. Inside he noticed that it was quiet. He clicked on his intercom but only heard fuzz. "Thought, he would do something like this . . . All right, I think I'm the only one here, I missed out on everything else. Ammo there, all right then. I know I'm on the middle section of the ship, I need to make my way to C.R. and set up some detonators and blow his ass straight to hell." He quickly moved his great speed but due to his intensive training even though his boots were made of metal, no sound came out.

 

"That kid is crazy!" Zain said in awe, as Reo leapt from his shape, and started flying towards Grahls flagship. "Stark raving nuts. Boost my engine power over there. "We're going in." Without waiting for a reply, he jammed his firing button down, and, pushing his ships engine to the point were they screamed, he headed took off after Reo. "Confirmed." His ship said.
He blew through the defense screen, and settled his ship onto the side of grahls. He grabbed his handguns, and burned his way inside. When he jumped through the hole, three guards opened fire. He slipped through the bursts, and easily dropped the three guards. "Hey Grahl. Bout time we met again." He decided to wait for Reo to catch up.

 

O.O.C. Reo's already in though . . . X-)

Reo looked back as the ship rocked. "Hmm, must be them still firing." Reon looked back out and saw the elevator that lead to the C.R. Three guards would be in his way, along with a couple of sentry guns, nothing he couldn't handle. He readied a Flash E.M.P. grenade and rolled it under the feet of one of the guards. Before the guard could respond the grenade went off and he dashed after them with two knives in his hand.

One of the guards recovered and saw him. He was about to raise his gun to fire but Reon leaped in the air and caught him with a back-spin kick to the head, killing him. The next guard was immediately stabbed through the chest and the throat by Reon's knives and rolled to the ground, lifeless. The final punched out at Reon. He simply swung his arms up, locking the guards arm and snapping it in half then slashed his throat out.

The blood from the lifeless guards dripped from his knives as he put them back into there sheaths and continued into the hallway toward the elevator.

 

"Nice, a massacre." Zain had decided to give on waiting, and had been walking to the same elevator bank. "You missed a back there though. They gave me quite the warm welcome." He laughed, then began walking with Reo to the elevators.

 

He looked at Zain and said "Reo went crazy here." He brought out his wrist messenger and started typing a message to Wolf." He looked at them and said "I'm telling Wolf where we are." He sent the message and looked at Zain. "I hope he gets here fast enough."

"Do what you like. It's not my team, I'm just along for the ride. And there is quite the bounty on Grahls head. Kill him if you guys want, but i want his body after this so i can collect the pay for him." Zain pushed the up button on the elevator, then started to whistle. When the elevator arrived, it opened to reveal three astonished guards. "Peek a Boo." Zain said, bringing his guns up. He dusted the three before they could even draw. "Hmph, childs play." He stepped over the dead, and pushed the crown button on the elevator. "Anyone coming?"

 

Zain chuckled and said "You're not the only fast one with a gun." He started walking ahead of Reo into the elevator.He looked at Reo and said "Come on Reo." "We're going down." As he was Reo walking, three guards were coming down from a secret case of stairs. They were about to ambush Reo until Lync quickly drew his pistol in one second and shot all of them dead. "You're welcome."

 

OOC: Uh, we're not all together, Will and Wolf haven't even gotten to the ship yet.. Have they?

Grahl heard gunfire from another area of the ship. He looked at Jaklahn and grinned, he pulled out his combat rifle in one hand and his katana in the other and started running for the noise. Jaklahn followed with two Uzi's pulled out. Grahl looked at the map of a ship as alarms started to blare and a computerized voise shouted "Intruders Alert!!!" He looked at the map. He turned to Jaklahn "They're in elevator G." He said. He ran to the elevator G fusebox and ripped the fuse out. Cuasing the elevator to stop "That oughta hold'em" Grahl said as he looked at the fuse

Before Zain and Lync got into Jaklahn's ship:

Wolf looked as Zain's ship headed towards Jaklahn's flagship "What the heck are they doing?! This wasn't part of the plan!" He said

After:

Wolf got out into the ship's garbage hold "What is that sten--you know what, i don't wanna know." Wolf said as he got out into knee high pool of a strange slimey substance. "Yuck...What is this stuff?" He asked as he trugged through it. He looked back at Will "Come on we have to find the others" He said as he got Lync's message saying they where they were. He then connected to Lync's com "Lync! What the heck are you doing?! You didn't even consult me before boarding this ship! I said i would tell you when we're ready for you! You disobeyed a direct order, and you'll receave your penalty when and if we get out of this alive." Wolf said angerly into the com

 

Will kept his battle rifle up, marching forward with no remorse as he passed Wolf, armor making him faster with it's augments. He walked in, shooting down four enemies in quick succession. "Four down, more in the hallway." He barked, voice icy cold over the com.

 

"They're in one of the elevators. Not sure which one. Grahl probably knows they're here. I think i hear the alarms going off, topside." He said as he pulled out his PP-19 and shot a patroling guard in the head. Wolf looked at Will "That's how we do it on Gerellia" He said as he grinned (Wolf's homeplanet is Gerellia. At this point no one in his squad knows he's half dragon)

 

Will ignored the comment, shooting three more people down as he strode up a service ramp towards the upper levels. "Keep up Wolf." He barked, voice heartless as he continued forward. He continued to shoot, gun discharging many times as he strode through the halls, walking upwards. He walked by one man on patrol and tool a longsword from the man, knocking him out and snapping his neck. He was the best in the Spartan II program at swordfighting, especially with a longsword.

 

Wolf walked behind Will, and heard a guard sneaking up behind him, he spun around, punched him in the gut, then hit his shin with the butt of his gun. He walked infront of Will and looked down a hall, making sure no one was in sight. "It's clear." He said. He walked slowly up to a latter "This probably leads topside." He said looking back at Will.

 

The elevator stopped and Lync got a call on his intercom. Wolf was angry. He turned it off and said "I'm in trouble." He then took out his messeger and sent a messege to Wolf. I'm sorry Wolf. I know the penalty will swift demotion. I just had to stop Reo. Anyways, I'm guess you caused the stop of the elevator. He then sent the mission and said "After this mission, I'm screwed."
