Hunters

"Not, really, that bitch spit in my cut. It feel's so weird. It burns, too. You dont look so good really, and Willy, Dan, and Tia, there worse than i am, if anything, you should be looking at them. I'm not going to bleed to death." she said to him, but she was in pain too, but her pride was hurt more than the cut on her neck, she can never do anything, why? Why does everybody she cares for get hurt, Tia looks like she dead, Dan could be dying, and Willy was going to have a major head ache. "I'm so sorry Wolf, i'm sorry that i can't help you and this team or anybody else, your always getting hurt becasue of me. I'm sorry." she told him, on the verge of tears.

 

Lora looked at him, she was sure she was blushing, he cared about her too. This might not be the best time, but everybody was knocked out, so she did something she would never forget, she threw her arms around him and kissed him. It wasn't a super long one, but it sure had passion. As she pulled back and looked at Wolf, she could see him smiling. She was too,"Um.. thanks, for saving me again." she said, still baffled at what she did, but she could no longer kept her feeling inside, she was in love with Wolf.

 

As Cerberus shot out from the deep blue he was met by a flurry of gun fire from two Phantoms."Woah!" he exclaimed after nearby getting blown apart by a Plasma Torpedo. He shot up into the air and the two Phantoms followed him. "These guys are fast!" he banked hard to the right and went into a deep dive and shot towards the water again but right before making contact he veered up and beamed above the edge of the waters, kicking up massive amounts of water as he sped faster due to low altitude. He noticed that the Phantoms had backed away but he was cut off by the blue plasma fire of three swooping Banshees. He serpentined left and right to avoid getting hit, his body jilting about inside the mech. "Damn it, I can't shake them!"He lipped over in the mech and locked on with his Gatling Gun and fired. The bullest streamed out and cut down the Banshees. They fell into the water in a heap of flame and twisted metal. "Got you!"

 

Will strode towards Wolf with a pistol in his hand and the baggy jeans dragging on the floor. He looked like a normal teenager in tennis shoes, baggy t-shirt, and baggy jeans. The only thing unnatural was the pistol in his hand and knife on his belt. "Well Wolf, I could have killed him but he's over there." He said, nodding towards Grahl's limp body laying against the engineering bench. "But I would like to take a day of rest if that is ok with you?" He asked, looking at his arms and hands. He was bruised, beaten, and scarred. Yet that was the life of a spartan. So why did he feel as if he was not meant to be this engine of murder?

She was still shocked at herself to believe it, it just happened, like a gun shot. "I guess i did." she said shyly, she couldn't look at his face, "I'm going to to get somebody over here to help, and get my cut treated." she said to him, she got up and walked past him not trying to look at him, but when she did, she felt a rush of happiness, as he embraced her and kisses her once again. She let it happen, she even lifted up her leg. Then she let go and ran. As she turned a corner, she smiled the biggest smile she could have had, but also a twinge of hurt. She was not supposed to fall in love during a war. But she didn't regret it, she found a medic and and told them to go to Wolf. She got her wound checked and went to her room. She needed to sleep on this.



Dan was was going in and out of the world. He could not think, he saw Tia stabbed by his own knife. He saw Wolf knocked down, and Lora cut in her neck. After that he fell. All that was going through his mind was death, he knew he was dead, if everybody was out he was too. He didn't finish the job, he failed at both mission, The one Wolf in trusted him to, and to himself. He should have checked, but he didn't, all this to show everybody he was a real Hunter. He failed, and that was all he could think about.

 

Will put his pistol in his belt, leaving his armor and gear for once, behind him. He strode through the city, everyone mistaking him for an overly tall tennager who got in trouble alot. He loved this and went into a restaraunt, sitting at the bar and ordering a lot of food. As he bit into the burger he smiled. He hadn't had burgers or nachos in years. As he shoved a handful of fries into his mouth he looked at the barkeep and said. "One large vanilla shake." He mumbled through the fries. Once it came flying from the other end of the bar he caught it with lightning speed and drank deeply. He continued trough two plates of nachos, three mopre burgers, and four shakes. He burped and smiled as they took the last of the dishes away The barkeep looked at him and asked. "So how will you be paying boy? Or will I have to rough you up for the money?" He asked angrily. Will smiled and asked. "Do you scan neural links?" The man scoffed. "Course we do but why would you have one?" Will smiled. "Just scan it." He said. The man then put an electric reader into a slot at the back of Will's head. "Ok... let's see... CPO Johnson? I'm sorry sir, please forgive me for my manners, you just look... different without your armor..." The man said. "Forget it. Take what you need out o the account. I'm glad you have good food." He said, walking out.

 

The doctors were looking at Lync as he was in the medic bay. "Apparently, the Moon mech put a lot of strain on him." The nurse looked over at the doctor and said "What do you mean? Are you saying that he was somehow connected to it?" The doctor nodded and said "It must have something to do with the nanos in his body. They apparently made Lync connected to the mech as fought out there." As they kept talking about it, Lync kept listening as he kept his eyes closed and his ears opened. "They are right. I was connected to it. Me and the mech, we were one."

FLASHBACK

As Lync flew through the sky in his mech, he fought off enemy ships that tried to destroy the base. "These guys are really persistent." One by one he shot down many enemy ships and proved to be a strong pilot and fighter of Faded Moon. As he kept shooting down ships, he could sense the great power the mech holds. "This power. This power....... Its great!" The mech started glowing red as Lync kept on shooting through the enemies. He could feel the power of the nanos taking over him. "More. MORE MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!!!!"
