Hunters

Dan took out his knives and stabbed a terrabot in the chest and ripped it apart, another one was coming and he kicked it in it's face then cut it's head off. A third one came and he threw his knife at his head, exploding it. Wolf was busy with some of his own, Lora and Tia were fighting together, and Will was working. He saw some more coming there way and he ran at them, they fired there weapons but missed as he slided on the ground cutting the legs of two of them, he jumped up and and spun in the air cutting one down. Next he jumped off the wall and a small kinfe came from his boot, he kicked a terrabot in the head shutting it down. He couldn't keep doing this. "Will, are you done yet?" he asked.

 

The doctors were working really hard on controlling the nanobots in Lync's body. They were going out of control. "They're causing pain in his chest!" "They're going out of control!" The doctors were hurringly sticking needels that lead to bags of morhine in Lync. The morphine is supposed to keep Lync under control as they worked on him. "This is getting crazy!" "We need someone that knows Lync's body structure." "We need Mira!"

 

Will had two robots in his hands by the throats, metal crunching as he squeezed. He was up in a blur as three more fell from his pistol. He then reached behind him, drawing his 20 gauge combat shotgun. He pumped it one handed as he holstered his pistol then lifted the large gun, blowing the head off another Terrabot. "Everyone onto the main deck, we are out of here." He said, welding the gas leak shut with a welding tool on the wall.

 

One of the nurses ran to a video phone outside the medical room. She quickly typed on the keyboard and suddenly a picture appeared on the screen on the wall. It was of Vlad's office with Vlad at his desk reading a book. The nurse suddenly spoke to the microphone that was connected to the keyboard. "Supreme Commander Vlad, can you hear me." Vlad looked up and saw the nurse standing there on his video phone screen. He put the book down and said "What is it nurse?" She then said to him "Its Lync." "We need Doctor Mira." That is when Vlad's eyes stiffened.

 

Vlad pressed the button on his intercom and spoke loudly into it. "Doctor Mira." "Report to my office, now." When Mira heared the message, she looked up at the speaker hanging from the speaker and said to herself "What is it now?"

After a few mintues passed, she was outside Vlad's office looking at the door. She was worried by what Vlad is going to say. "He sounded really worried." "I hope he is alright." She then sighed and said "Well." "Here I go." That is when she put her hand on the doorknob and slowly opened it up.

She calmly entered the room and closed the door behind her. That is when Vlad looked up from his book and said "Welcome." Mira bowed and said "Thank you." She then raised her head back up and said "So, what do you need me for Commander?" That is when Vlad sighed and stood up from his chair. He then slowly walked towards the large, wide window behind him and slowly gazed into for a moment until he turned his head back to Mira and said "Its Lync." "Hes hurt." That is when Mira's eyes enlarged as she put her hand over her heart. "What?"

 

Vlad answered his com link and said to Wolf "I want you and a group of soldiers to investigate the planet." "We need to know the current situation and also see how we can adapt to the world's environment for future missions." "That is all." He then ended the conversation on the com link and looked at Mira, who was still in shock. "She seems really distant." "I wonder, is she still in pain from all those years ago?"

 

Vlad recieved the call and said to Wolf "I know." "I had them working on them for two top Defenders." "Wolfie, one of them is yours." He then pressed the MULTI-CONTACT mode on his phone and talked to Willy. "Willy, get done on the Torn Soldier mech then work the Faded Moon Mech." "We need the boys to have a lot of fire power if they want to defeat Grahl's army."

 

Will looked at Wolf and his brother. "Umm... with all do respect sir I could do some recon with my Mark V Mjolnir armor. If you want I could head to the temple tonight, keep a video log to show when I get back with my helmet cam?" He asked, sliding his pistol into it's holster after he made sure it was loaded.

 

Lora was impressed at this planet, she liked it, she went up to Wolf,"So, this is where you come from, nice place." she said to him, then turned to his brother,"So your Space Boys brother" she said to him," How come your not in charge and he is? You seem to have much more force." She said, Wolf looked annoyed as ever, and she laughed at it.

Tia walked over to Wolf," She is a very different kind of girl, i dont know why you love here so much." she told him, she laughed at his reaction. "Still this place looks the same as always." Tia told him

 

Leonardo furiously shot out with fast and accurate punches to the small pads that were secured over Heather's hand. They had been going at it for hours, training. It had been some time since they had been in the field and things were getting shabby with their Martial Arts skills. After Leonardo had finished his short assault on the innocent punching pads, Heather slipped them off as Leonardo sat down on a nearby bench and undid his wrappings on his hands. His knuckles ached from the constant and vigorous use so he pressed them together and cracked them. He breathed out in relief as he flexed his palms into a fist and out regularly to make sure that everything was working right.

Leonardo wore a loose but comfortable exercising outfit standard to those in the D.M.C. armed forces. He looked up to see Heather performing her forms and sat there grabbing a nearby thirty pound dumbbell and gripping it tightly as he worked on his biceps. He ignored the sweat that was beading off of his face and concentrated on getting stronger. Heather looked at him with worried eyes and thought to herself, "Leo...you don't need to push yourself so hard..."

Meanwhile, in Grahl's lair, Reonarudo, Chiisutofupu, and Butsuchiru were nimbly dodging each others attacks and going at each other with the intent to kill. Reo saw and rising knee coming up to him and blocked it with both hands before catching a quick glimpse of Butsuchiru raising a balled up fist coming in for a right hook. He raised his left hand and caught his little brother's hand firmly in his gloved palm. "Argh!" Butsuchiru grunted as he was swiped off of his feet by the counter from Reonarudo. "Hmph! You're to slow Reo!"

Reo turned to see a grinning Chiisutofupu rushing in with whirling 9 Section Chain Whip towards him. His friend thrust out with his right arm (which had some of the chain wrapped around his forearm), causing the bladed end to arc downward and slash upward. Reo lashed out with his left arm and smiled kindly at his shocked friend as the cold steel coiled itself safely around his left arm before Reo performed a graceful yet powerful jumping side kick that caught his friend in the chest.

"Ugh!" Chiisutofupu was flung to the ground after taking a front kick then a palm heel strike to the stomach from his best friend and fell backwards next to Butsuchiru, who was sitting on the ground watching the amazing display of combat. After he fell, Reo was over Chiisutofupu with a raised fist that shot down at his nose but stopped abruptly in front of him.

Chiisutofupu's breathing was hard and slightly rasp while Reo's was calm and under control. The other two had sweat coming down their faces yet Reo had nothing there. "I think it's a good time to call it a day eh?" Reo said getting off from his friend and looking at his brother with a smile.

What had puzzled Chiisutofupu and Butsuchiru the most was the way Reo didn't make contact. Before the time of him leaving the Chimera Project, Reo was a relatively efficient and brutal force to be reckoned with.

Why didn't he finish the job when he had the chance?

 

When Vlad stopped talking to them, he turned his gaze back to a quiet and sad Mira, who was sitting in a chair in the far left corner of the room, staring at her feet. "She seems really sad. So sorry, Mira." That is what Vlad thought to himself as he kept staring at his depressed friend. He then let out a sigh and said "Mira, get going to the medical room of the ship." She then turned her head slowly to him with emotionless eyes and said "Yes sir." She then got up and left the room.

 

As Reonarudo checked the equipment that would be needed for the next series of events he searched his thoughts and found himself back at the place where he was found.

It was on a shore in Tokyo, Japan on the planet Earth where he had been found bloody and out cold. He was rescued by an old man and his younger granddaughter, whose name was Fuka. Fuka was a bright and kind girl and he remembered everything about her; especially her beauty.

But his thoughts were interested by his younger brother that came into the armory looking at him with penetrating eyes. "Is something wrong?" Reo asked raising an eyebrow as he pushed in another round into the MA5B assault rifle ammo clip.

"You know exactly what's wrong."
"I assure you I don't. Do explain though."
"Back there, what happened?"
"What do you mean 'what happened'?"
Butsuchiru walked up to Reo and punched him in the chest, "Why didn't you finish the fight?!"
Reo shot up and pushed him back, his voice was raising slowly, "Why did I have to?!"
Butsuchiru jabbed a finger at him and continued to look him in the eye with slight hatred and disdain, "Because it was never like you to let a fight end without you being the sole winner!"
Chii cut in with a cool, "He is right you know...it's not like you Reon...old friend," he popped open a vial of blood and drank it, gulping loudly.

Reon looked at the two and stormed out of the room dropping the clip and pushing past Chii. Chii shrugged his shoulders and whined when he realized that he ran out of vials to drink. He left the edge of the room and went to go satisfy himself furthuer leaving Butsuchiru alone in the weapon filled room.

Butsuchiru gritted his teeth and balled his hand into a fist cursing under his breathe, "What happened to you, Reon..."
