Will entered the temple behind Grahl like a shadow, slipping into the darkness and not being seen. He slipped a silencer on the magnum and kept it trained on Grahl's head. "Have shot on Grahl sir, should I take it?" He commed to Wolf, holding the pistol steady and unmoving. He wanted so bad to take the shot but his training told him to wait for orders.

"Go for it" Wolf replied "We'll be right there"

Grahl looked at a corner and raised an eyebrow. He started clapping
    "Veeeeeeerry sneaky, Will..Very sneaky."

Grahl's men were confused. They thought the jungle got to him, he was talking to a wall.

Grahl walked up to the wall and kicked it. He grabbed Will by the neck and brought him out from the shadows. "You know, i have to give you credit, for a second i didn't know you were there, but you forgot one thing..I'm nocturnal.." Grahl said smiling

  3. Reonarudo and Butsuchiru looked at their leader and in the back of their minds were egging him on to do away with his life. But there was a deep rumbling from within the darkness of the temple. The rumbling grew louder until a large and hard breathing was heard. A down native wearily grinned and spoke out his last words, "Mak . . . . . . Toruk . . ."

Butsuchiru spat in annoyance as the noise came nearer and nearer.

Lora was seeing the temple that they where running too, it was big and great, something she wished she could keep. She smiled, she ran over to the building shooting the solider down guarding it. She was happy his blood didn't get on her. She reloaded and walked up to a door, she could see Will down on the ground, someone was holding him by his neck, he was dying over there, she must do something. She was about to shot but Dan came over to her,"Dont, we must not rush in, there are three powerful foes in there and many minions, we must plan this out." he told her, she knew he was right, so she stopped, she went over to Wolf,"What are we going to do? Will is in there dying, someone has him by his neck." she told him..

  5. A few legion soldiers fell back as a brightly colored dragon-like being came from deep within the catacombs of the temple. Butsuchiru looked up defiantly and cursed under his breathe, "Fucker . . ." The being roared and spread its magnificent wings.

Grahl spat "Maktoruk...Cursed beast." He mumbled. He was too pre-ocupied now, he threw Will out of his grasp, since they were so close to the entrace, Will had been thrown out the entrance and down the large flight of stairs.

    "Sir.."
    "What is it.."
    "Shoot or run..?"
"Both." Grahl replied as he looked up at the massive creature "On my mark..." Grahl said

  7. Reonarudo shouldered his P90 and two soldiers ran to his side with M16A4's at the ready. He shouted out and order to open fire on the giant beast. The bullets zinged forward and hit Maktoruk. However, he cursed under his breathe as the bullets seemed to pelt him, as if they were rocks getting thrown at a stone wall.

Grahl raised an eyebrow "Screw shooting. Just run and hope to loose it!" He ordered. He patted Butsuchiru's sholder and motioned him to follow "Reonarudo, you and your squad keep that thing busy, we'll meet up later." Grahl said. He started running with Butsuchiru deep into the temple "The head of the iron giant should be somewhere here..But where?" Grahl asked. His voice echoed throughout the hallways

  9. Reonarudo gave his brother a kind smile and continued to fire at the monster. When the monster swung out with its massive tail, crushing his two soldier comrades, he threw his gun down and unsheathed a combat knife from his uniform and held the point down with a M9 pistol over his bent left hand. He looked at the monster with eyes of contempt and waited for it to make its next move.

Grahl opened every door he came to, where would a treasure room be...Hidden..So he had to look for secret doors or somthing. The fact that there was a giant dragon and 4 annoying Defenders after him didn't make it any better

Wolf ran up to the temple and found Lora, Dan and Will, Lora and Dan were standing over Will, who was on the ground "What happened?" He asked

  11. Maktorok rushed in at Reo but Reo was able to step back a few inches to create a small gap between the two. "Not bad for an overgrown bird!" He shot his M9 pistol and the bullet ripped into his left eye. Maktorok wailed out in pain and flung about the area.

As Lync layed on the ground, some bear like creatures walked over to him and Tia. He opened his eyes and looked at them. "Seems like they're hungry." He smiled and said "To tell you the truth, so am I." The bears then charged at him at great speeds. He kept smiling and said "Oh well." He then quickly pulled out his pistol from the holster on the back of his pants and shot three bullets. The bears fell to the ground as bloods dripped from their heads. He smirked and looked at Tia's body. "Tia..... hope you wake up soon." "There is lunch waiting for you."

Wolf got Will up and ran up the stairs of the temple. He made sure it was clear and signaled the others to come up as well. He got up against one of the walls of the entrance and looked in. It was dark in there. "Night vision" Wolf said into the com. He turned on the Night Vision on his goggles and looked around "Leo, get to the temple, we're waiting for you." He said

  14. Maktorok swung out with a brutal talon and caught Reon in the side and flung him into a hard stone wall. He slumped down and tumbled down the stairs and dropped his M9 pistol on the ground and the creature stepped on it, crushing it to bits. He slowly got up and held his throbbing side. "Thank God for these dense bones of mine . . . maybe the only benefit to my experimentation...." he grabbed his shoulder blade and dug his nails into it. His skin began to get very cold and he doubled over. "UGH!!!" he shivered violently and looked at his large enemy and his eyes began to shake at the pupils . . . "I hope your ready . . . because you take fight a devil..."

Grahl wandered the halls of the temple halls, searching for his goal, it was dark, very few torches lit the rooms, it was damp and cold, he didn't understand how the natives who lived in the place kept warm. Grahl heard a noise coming from a darkened room. He pulled out a silenced Colt 1994. He turned on his flashlight and slowly moved to the sound. He shone his light in the room and saw something he thought he'd never see in his life

Vlad slowly rested at his desk dreaming about the simple life when he was a Defender soldier. He remembered how him and Lync would go down to the lakeside of the Defender fortress and skip rocks for a few hours before they would get something to eat. As he kept dreaming, Mira walked into the office and saw him sleeping. She sighed and said "He must be thinking of Lync." ".....So am I."

Chris sat in the closest seat to the back exit inside the large pelican dropship that was nearing the tropical forest of the planet from which they had gotten a call for reinforcements.
You have got to kidding me. A bunch of Hunters are held up? What a joke.
His thoughts were clouded by a mixture of frustration, fatigue, and most of all, hunger. He had been on the painfully long journey to the distant planet from the main Defenders base that was stationed in the galaxy they were currently in. It was nothing short of a mystery as to why the Special Force of the Defenders were being taken up by the notorious Grahl and his group of weak Shadow Claw Legion soldiers.

It wasn't that he hated the Hunters, it was just that he felt that they were far to snobbish for their own good. He had heard stories of one them being overly confident and sometimes braggy, but that was before the new generation of Hunters came into being. The last generation were complete slackers and jerks to anyon who didn't have that oh so precious insignia that displayed what role they played in the Defenders massive armed forces.

Chris? Well, his story was somewhat different from the many stories for why he joined. He was simply following in the footsteps of his father and his father's father and before that and so on. He was a very patriotic and loyal person to his country so naturally he was very excited when he was given the frist chance to travel to the Defender's Training Academy for his education and combat training.

He had never expected to become apart of a an elite branch (still lower in categorization to the Hunters) of soldiers and was proud of that fact. It wasn't because he felt that he was some sort of super soldier or anything, it was the simple fact that he would be the first in his family to reach such a level in their long and ongoing history of military careers.

But the big change happened when the Shadow Claw Legion came into town. They were like nothing that had ever had to deal with before according to the seemingly endless records kept by the Defenders. They were far more organized that the average terroist army, more effecient in battle, and their leader - oh baby - was one Hell of a force to be reckoned with.

Chris felt a warm sensation rise in his chest. He patted himself hard on his combat uniform that looked like something out of a video he used to play when he was younger and burped. He looked at him other comrades and grinned a slightly embarassed grin. He had seen many of his comrades before, but he had never seen them die. He was so sure that that day would never come.

    Not anymore.

As Lync quietly layed on the ground sleeping, there was a rustle in the bushes of the trees by the clearing Tia and him were staying in. As the rustling continued, Lycn opened one of his eyes and glanced at the bushes. "Theres someone there." He slowly got up and said "Whos there?" But no one replied. The rustling just kept continuing. Lync then again said calmly "Whos there?" But still no one replied. Then Lync frustratingly said "WHO'S THERE!" That is when they did reply. Out of the bush came out a group of the planet's natives with sharpened spears and swords. Lync grinned as he saw them standing there watching his every move. "Heh." "I guess they're the ones that protect the temple." He chuckled and said "Oh Well." "I guess they want to die." He then got into a stance and said "Lets rock." They then charged at him with fierce speed as they readied their weapons. Lync readied himself and said "Time to die!" Then a loud howl echoed throughout the world.

Grahl looked with wide eyes at the grand treasure room, 20 foot high piles of gold and priceless jewels, ancient armor passed down through centuries of the natives, he read about this place but never imagined seeing it with his own eyes, it was a magnificent sight. And there, mounted on the wall in it's glory, was the head of Iron Giant, the only problem was, how was he to get it down.

Wolf looked up and saw the dropship coming down "'Bout time..." He started running as me motioned for the last of the soldiers in his attack squad to protect the entrance of the temple untill he got back. Running through several bushes and stepping in puddles of blood he finally made it back to the edge of the forest and the dropship, he seluted the soldiers and walked forward, he noticed Chris at the very back of the line. "Chris, is that you? I haven't seen you since we left for Mephra, that was almost a month ago, i thought you were stationed at the other end of the Galaxy, i didn't know you were still apart of the Beretta Force." Wolf said as he walked towards Chris

Chris gave his old friend a grin that was concealed by his helmet that resembled the ODST crew helmets and nodded. "It looks like things never change huh? You and your boys looked to have a little bit of trouble," he said, voice slightly laced with a military tone that was unmistakable in his family line. It was a bold and brave voice full of valor and vigor, and it got him ways with some people. He scanned the tropical terrain and a small map about the size of a saltine cracker winked up on the other side of his HUD and his shot up to get a good look at what they were dealing with as the small map made its way to the upper right corner of his HUD. Other numbers and characters scrolled themselves down, calculating gravity, wind speeds, weather, elevation, you name it. All of what was needed by a soldier was there, just waiting to be picked apart by whoever was in the armor.

The actual temperature of the planet was much hotter than it seemed to the suit of armor that separated his flesh from fatal injuries. The suit was able to automatically adjust itself to cater to its users needs. He felt unimaginably comfortable in the suit and slowly but unoticably swayed his armored arms from left to right.

He was just about ready to start up a quick converstaion when he was interuppted by a gruff and rasped voice filled with the evidence of years of hard and heavy smoking. It was the voice of his commanding officer. His armor would have been similar to Chris' suit had it not had the red and white claw-like warpaint of the helmet and the custom painted tiger paw on his chest (Chris had the painting of a pale white skull on his helmet, which gave him the nickname "Reaper" to his fellow Beretta Force team members).

"Enough the damn chit-chat ladies!' he barked powerful moving his right hand in quick and almost scrambled signals to the other Beretta Force members as they acknowledged their orders and moved forward to begin a first recon of the area.
Always business with that guy. Oh well, you do what you gotta do.
He turned back to his friend and shouldered his FAMAS which he held like a veteran soldier even though he had only three years of experience in the military. "We'll talk later Wolf, we have a job to do, let's do it right."
He pushed off with his feet and thromped towards the looming tropical forest ready for what was ready to come at him.
