Hunters

"Understood, all right, Team White, let's go!" He motioned and shouldered his P90 and moved into the western area of the forest. Reonarudo took out his FAMAS and moved into the brush of the eastern side of the forest. Reonarudo stopped the group after a while and spoke to his soldiers. "Understand what we're here for . . . If we meet any resistance, eliminate the threats."

 

Grahl keyed the com "Gold team, with me. Red team, cover Black team." He ran in with Gold team and took posistion at a nearby brush. He looked out into a small clearing. "All clear." He said. He slowly walked out and signled Butsuchiru to move up. "Take posistion at that Red Oak." He said

 

Butsuchiru nodded at the command and ran towards the tree e and slammed his back against it. Something about the planet felt strange, as if it knew what they were after and wouldn't let them get what it was. He motioned for one of his men to come with him. As he ran, an arrow zoomed at his head and hit him. The force of the giant arrow sent him flying sideways. He held up his fist to signal to stop. They had company, lots of it.

 

Grahl looked out from over the bush. "Natives...Dang it, i wasn't expecting this." He said as an arrow zoomed by and hit one of his men. "Take cover!" He yelled. He got down onto the ground and aimed his gun out of a small hole in the bush. 20 natives, firing arrows and throwing spears. Some flailing clubs around and beating his men with it. He aimed and fired his AUG, killing 3 natives

 

Butsuchiru gritted his teeth and opened fire with his weapon at the natives. A native who he aimed at staggered back in pain as the bullets torn into his body, hurting, wreathing, and ultimately killing him. He grabbed on by the arm and shot it in the head, without any sign of remorse.

Reonarudo paused and listened. He heard gunfire and yelling. "Shit. we got contacts. Light em' up! Light em' up!" He said while aiming at the natives that flew on what seemed to be giant birds. He pulled the trigger of his FAMAS and hit on in the chest five times. He and his flying creature fell to their deaths. Amazing, we had nothing on our radars! but as he looked down at his radar, he saw that it was turned to static. His eyes widened in shock and he continued to pelt the native aliens with bullets. We've lost all radio contact!!!

 

Grahl looked at the radar to see how many natives there were "What the?" He said to himself, it was nothing but static, he looked up "These are no ordinary natives..." he looked up and saw something flying ahead of him "What the heck??" He said in confusion, this was turning into something out of the ordinary.

 

Reonarudo slashed and shot at as many natives as he could target. His soldiers were handling themselves very well. He looked into the sky and raised an eyebrow at what he was seeing. "My God . . . what is that thing?"

Butsuchiru sidestepped and shot down the Native with his P90 and kicked him in the chest, planting his boot on him and executing him brutally.

 

Dan had found Wolf and Vlad, he saw them sitting down talking he didn't want to intrude but he had too, "Wolf, i need to speak with you real quick if you could." Dan asked him, Wolf got up and walked a little away from Vlad. "I wanted to ask you if i could be like a body guard for Lora, i mean she can help herself but you seem to care for her and it would make your job easier with you knowing that someone was protecting her. Plus i could get some felid action." Dan told him, then he let Wolf think waiting his answer.

 

Leonardo wiped the sweat from his brow and entered the room with Lora, Wolf, and Vlad. He looked at them and knew that something was going on. He held out a hand and asked his leader, "Sir, what have I missed?" The one thing he hated more than losing was missing out on important developments.

 

Wolf held up a hand in Leonardo's direction, meaning for him to wait a minute. "Sure i guess, but i don't know if she'll go with it all too well at first. You could try." He sent Dan off with a pat on the back "Leo, you know Butsuchiru's brother, Reonarudo? Well, we thought for years he was dead, and i just figured out his location was unknown, he's still out there.." He said. He walked off to get more info, he sat down on a computer and started typing in searches in the D.M.C. case file center. He finally got something, his eyes widened when he saw what was written. "Reonarudo, the Devil Chimera posseses the power for fire and darkness, explaining how he managed to break out while being experimented on. His current status has been unkown for years.

March 17th 2606, a citizen of the capital city on Garlech recently reported to a local D.M.C. base that a man who looked alot like Reonarudo was seen exiting the city and heading for the jungle." Wolf stopped reading there "That's today!" He thought to himself. He jumped up. "Pilot! Set a course for Garlech, on the double, i want to get there ASAP!" He yelled

"Yessir!" The pilot replied

 

Vlad called WOlf and said "Wolf." "Whats going on?" "What did you check out?" "PLease report to me at once!"

Lync looked at Grahl and said "Lord Grahl." "I sense people around here but I can't see them." "This is bad." "This is really bad." He brought his pistol and looked around. "Damn." "Where are they?"

 

Wolf got up and ran over to Vlad "Reonarudo is on Garlech, someone from the capital city reported to the local D.M.C. base there that there was a man walking through the allyways who looked alot like Reonarudo and that he was heading for the jungle outside the city. If he's there, Butsuchiru and Grahl probably are too."

"I can't see them either. They just..Dissapeared!" Grahl replied. He looked around and finally spotted something out of the corner of his eye, something in a nearby tree, it looked metal. He spotted numbers on it "G29 Jamming array?!" "Butsuchiru! They're jamming our system! They're invisible because they jammed our visors, same with the radar, it's jammed!" He said over the com. He pointed his AUG and shot the jamming array. it exploded setting the tree on fire, it spread down the tree to a bush at the foot of the tree "Perhaps i should have thought that over more..." Grahl said

 

Reonarudo stepped back as a once green tree busted into flames and began to fall towards him and his squad. "LET'S MOVE NOW!!!" he yelled and signaled to retreat, but was almost already too late. The burning tree fell on top of them and everything went into a low an eerie hush.

 

Grahl looked around, there was nothing on the radar. The natives were gone. He looked and lifted the tree off Butsuchiru and his men, he didn't feel the flames because he had really tough skin, and he had fire protection gloves on..(XD) He took a hollow rock that was on the floor, dipped it in a nearby pool and threw the water on the tree a couple times. He looked around, he noticed something, in fact he heard somthing, a low, constant drumming, it was coming from the north. He signaled his men to follow him. They walked untill they came on a marvolous sight. A golden building, it was giant, reaching at least 12 stories high. It looked like it went on for a long time. "The temple of Silence..." Grahl said grinning

 

Reonarudo and his men, the ones that didn't die came up from under the tree as if nothing had happened. The radar had vimmed back on and he could communicate on the intercom. Immediately his beamed on and he heard Butsuchiru speaking in a somewhat raised voice. "Brother, we are finishing off the rest of the natives that have strayed behind. We are continuing our search, over."

Reo looked over and saw that Grahl had found something of interest, "Negative on that, Grahl's found the temple. Converge on our position or go out and eliminate the rest of those natives. We cannot afford anymore problems.

 

Dan was up and ready to go, he had his short knives blades and bow. He was ready to fight if he had too, it looked like Wolf, Will, and a whole squad was ready to leave. Dan was going with them, and if they said no, he was getting off anyways. "Hey Wolf, are we getting of and going, cause your still not healed for your fight, so i'll help you if you meet Reo." Dan told him.

Lora was walking in the room, she saw all the looks people had, they where bout to get off on this planet, she could see it in Wolfs face. She ran to the armory before anybody could see her and got two shot guns and alot of ammo, plus to pistols. She tied her hair up to have a big pony tail and put on her jacket, she was ready to go whenever.

 

Wolf looked at Dan "Right, thanks." He looked at the pilots at the bridge "Alright, cmon on the double we gotta go." He yelled from across the room. He looked around "Alright i gotta go get my gear. Be right back." He said walking into the armory. He walked up to the weapons rack, not even looking at Lora who was standing only 7 feet away. He picked up a Thompson and looked at it to made sure it was in good condition, then he spoke up. "Lora, why do you look like your about to go on a SWAT mission..?" He asked while still not even looking at her

 

Leonardo's body jostled inside the dropship as the planet got closer and closer. Immediately, he began to note the large fire that pummed smoke into its atmosphere. "Yeah . . . this is bad, Grahl and his posse have been there all right." The dropship got closer and he began to make a mental map of the area from the bird's eye view and turned from the view. He put on his Hayabusa MJOLNIR armor and went to the weapons rack and browsed the weaponry displayed.

He reached up and unclicked the latches on the Intervention M-200 Sniper Rifle and gathered the ammunition needed for it. He then got two flash and stun grendades and placed them on his belt attachments. He reached up and picked out a few extended mags of ammo for his Intervention and slid into the ammo slides on the thigh of his armor. He scanned the handgun racks and took the .44 Magnum that gleamed from the sun that blazed nearby the planet and firmly slide it into his sidearm slot.

He walked back out to the drop hatch and looked at his comrades. He smiled and took his helmet. As he put it on he spoke, "Well guys, I'm back in action," he said as the visor snapped over his eyes and gleamed on. Something felt different than the last time he wore his armor, as if his armor became stronger, faster, and more enduring.

 

Will strode up next to Leonardo, loading his SR-21 Sniper Rifle and aiming down the hanger hatch. "Copy Wolf, we have a large fire on the surface. Permission for Spartans 119 and H-354 to breach?" He asked Wolf, keying the comm with his chin. He then nodded at Leonardo. "You ready for this man?" He asked, keying Leo's personal comm.

 

Wolf walked up next to Leo and Will "Let's do this.." He said under his breath. The hatch opened and they landed "Negetive on that, Will, we're all going in." He replied on the com. He jumped out with his Thompson at his sholder and a desert eagle at his side. He ran up to the forest with his team and looked around. "Watch out for the fires." He said
