Hunters

Will ran out of the ship, seeing Zain sprawled on the ground. he ran and ifted him, running back to the ship as fast as he could. He made it in and tossed Zain into a seat in the back, flying over to the hospital where Wolf had entered. A countdown had appeared in the corner of his HUD. 9:99:35 was what it read. "Wolf, hurry up! That nuke's been started and we have ten mnutes to get off Ground Zero!" He roared.

 

A medic came into the room and began to wheel Leonardo's bed and he nodded to his leader. "Yes sir, what's going on?"

The medic looked at him and continued to wheel, "You cannot start to move around yet. We'll take you into that battle ship your C.O. told you about nothing else to it, got it?" Leonardo was slightly amazed at the conviction in the medic's voice as he was wheeled into the ship and placed in the infirmary there. He watched as other soldiers hustled here and there and thought to himself, "If I wasn't in this bad condition, then I'd be out there helping." He laid his head back and tried to think of something else.

 

Leonardo looked to his right after waking up from his sleep and saw his leader speaking to Lora. He had never spoken to Lora, but all he knew is that she had as much ambition as Heather, even if Heather had more. He wondered about his leader's past. He wasn't clear enough to know what he really was because he never thought much about it. Know that they all had come close to dying, he started to think more deeply about who he was with and why they needed to stick together as a team.

 

"Hey, i'm ok i guess. But i really dont remeber what happened? Who'd i get in here?" Lora asked. She was feeling really dizzy, she didn't uderstand why she was hurt or what hurt her. Then it came back, everything, the pain she was in, the fight. "I remember it, and i remeber Lnyc, he's...."Lora stopped, she could'nt bring herself to say it. She had really thought almost him as a friend. But know he was the enmey of the man she wanted to kill. "Wolf, are you okay?"

Dan was walking throught the ship, he had saw Will help Wolf, Reo and some lady into the ship. He didn't know the girl, most likey some stragler that couldn't be left. Dan didn't care at all really. All he knew was that he was going to go find Will. The next mission they where going on he was coming. Wolf and Reo where out for the moment, and maybe he could become a real hunter.

 

Heather walked briskly by, only shifting from left to right as cadets and fighters ran past her, goibng to their stations. She was in the D.M.C.A.F. Headquarters and they were assembling for a campaign that would take them to the Outer Rim of the galaxy. She looked at the line of battleships and other things in the large launch bay of the Atlas Master ship. She stopped and looked at her fighter ship and smiled. Valkryie shined in the light of a nearby sun brightly. S\Her thoughts went to Leonardo and she looked down for a moment. "It was warmer when I was with him." She ignored her feeling and pushed them in the back of her mind and placed on her work face. It was a face of cruel determination and valor.

 

Leonardo smiled slightly at the conversation that continued between Wolf and Lora. "Well, at least he knows she is safe."

Butsuchiru clicked on the light switch in his room and looked around it. Everything was still in place as it was when he left the headquarters. He sat down and took off his shirt and began to touch the angelic symbol on his shoulder blades. After he touched it for a few moments, it began to burn, like it always did, indicating that human cells were being destroyed and were being replaced with the angelic cells. "Good . . . I'd rather have it that way."

 

Vlad looked at the pilots and said "All right men." "Listen up!" "I want you to listen to Wolf on this mission." "Also, its vital importance that if you see Hunter Lync, I want you to traquilize him so we can bring him back and fix him." "If it doesn't work and if the change is too much, then I want you to take him out." "Thats an order!" They saluted and then he left. While walking back to his office, Vlad and stopped and leaned agaisnt a wall. "What have I done?"

 

Butsuchiru got up and opened his arms back, stretching his shoulder blades and taking the burning pain from it. It was ironic that his pain was fiery while his brother described his as icy. Butsuchiru then walked out into the bridge and stopped in front of Grahl and noticed that Lycn was in his human form. "A shame really . . . he looked better when the beast had him. Nevertheless, he is ours now . . . and mine for my vednetta. There is one more Chimera that's still alive besides my brother. His cruelty exceeds my own. He is Vampire Chimera that my brother had been good friends with."

 

Noticing everyone was gone, Ghualo reloaded his AA and hopped out of the drop-ship Will had been piloting before. As Ghualo ran as fast as he could, stun grenades strapped to his belt, he noticed he wouldn't need his mouth piece anymore.

"S'Ghualo doo lombrias." He smiled as he got to the streets. His legs were tired, so he walked slowly, trying to catch his breath, and make sure none of the Hunters were following him at the same time.

"Agan de fu'too humna..." He mumbled to himself, he was not just tired, but strained from his surgery and hungry.

 

Will followed Wolf and sat in the edge of the hatch of the cruiser, leg hanging off the runway that connected to the ship. "Wolf... drive..." He said to his friend, the counter on his HUD hitting 5:31:20 and dropping even lower. "We have five minutes to escape ground zero." He said, oddly calm. He felt as if everything around him was collapsing and the world was falling apart. He watched as the ship started to rise, looking down on the planet, wondering if everyone was off the planet.

 

Will watched from the loading bay hatch, his visor polarizing completely. His home for the last few years was being destroyed in front of his eyes yet he was calm as could be. "From the brink of insanity, comes forth the beast..." He breathed, remembering what one of the drill instructurs told him at graduation. "Just remember son, From the brink of insanity comes forth the beast..." The memory was vivid in his head.

 

Will shook his head. "It's strange... Dr. Hasley was there... but she was on Reach when it was attacked... it's weird, both my homes being destroyed." He said, shaking his head. "Oh well... time to continue the mission." He said, standing up. "Sorry for lollygagging sir!" He said, saluting Wolf.

 

Lync walked over to Grahl and said "I am ready sir." "Just give me my orderes and I will follow them completely." "I will not let you down Lord Grahl." He then bowed his head and then brought it back up. "That is my goal sir."

Vlad walked over to Wolf and said "What going on Wolf?" "You should be leaving right now."

 

Ghualo's eyes widened as the earth shook and the building quaked rapidly.
Shop windows were shattering and clouds of dust and debris swarmed the streets.

Ghualo gulped as buildings toppled over and massive cracks erupted from the roads.
The Cerephibian race were the smartest specie is the known galaxies, so Ghualo knew he could figure some way off the planet before it imploded on itself.

Ghualo made his way to an abandoned local militia-mercenary aircraft hanger and saw a Nighthawk spacecraft that seemed in good condition. He throughly checked the spacial-equipped engines and tried started the cruiser up. Nothing.

Sweat drained from Ghualo's scaly skin and after a couple more turns, the ship turned on, and he was up in the air.

 

Leonardo closed his eyes in sorrow after hearing the planet being ravaged by the Tactical Nuke. When he opened his eyes he looked around the room and lay motionless. He felt helpless after hearing the sounds. He knew that the planet was done, Grahl had won . . . again. He lightly gritted his teeth, keeping mind that he needed his mental and physical health at 100% when he was allowed to go back into the field. He thought about their enemies and imaged a large chess board. The greatest thing that he was recognized for in the Elite Academy was his great sense of strategy. He would always be many steps ahead of his opponent. And when he started, he never let up.

 

Dan had saw the planet go black, it mad him feel bad and mad, he had liked that place. Really now he wanted to help Wolf and become a true hunter, he was one of the strongest, smartest, overall demon solider. "Wolf, Will, i was thinking about something, i was thinking, i wanted to go on the next mission with you guys, i might not be at the top, but i want to help and earn my stars." Dan told him.

Tia had got onto a ship, she really didn't know what to do, all she did was get on, get some food and hide when it took off. She was in the vents, there where pretty big. She was crawling till she came to a stop, she looked thorugh a vent and saw a girl, she looked hurt too, so Tia thought that this was a ship that humans where where taken to become slaves. She was going on when she fell through the vent.

Lora saw a girl fall down on the bed next to her, she was surprised to see someone come into the room like that. She figured people used doors. She got up and looked at the girl, she didn't know if she was good or bad, but she wasn't going to wait. She pulled out a gun and tried to shoot her, but the girl moved and drew her gun too and shot, Lora moved and threw a pillow, and while the girl couldn't see, Lora ran over and kicked her gun away, but Lora's gun was always hit away. They looked at each other and the girl attacked first, she was punching away and just before the last hit Lora stopped her fist and hit her in the gut. She did it three times and then threw her in a wall. She punched her in the face but Lora was hit with something hard. She got up but was takled by the girl, Lora didn't go down thought, she was up in the air, then she relized the girl picked her up. Then Lora was flying through a door right into Wolf.
