Hunters

"She's probably trying to figure out why she hugged me a couple minutes back, not really sure why, it might have been out of joy, i told her i'd help her free her sister from Grahl, but frist we need to investiagte the Spartan II Lab, thats where we're going. Let's go find Lora." Wolf said. He was still trying to figure out why she hugged him then got mad at him for it. "I wonder if she really does feel that way.." He thought

 

Lync looked at him and said "Wow." "She hugged you?" He then started laughing a little and then stopped at the look he saw on Wolf. He then coughed and said "Sorry Wolf." He then scratched his hair and said "Anyways, we should start finding her." "She can't be far from us."

 

Lora saw Lync and wolf walking out talking, she ran over to them, she had never really meant Lync though. "Hey guys, Your Lync right, let me guess your Space boys sidekick, which means you must be the space cadet. Well come on, is this your team because if it is, it is really a poor team. I'm ready to go, but are yall ready." she asked them. She walked over to where she got her shot gun and got more ammunition just in case. Lync and Wolf where right behind.

 

Lync looked at her and said "I'm not his sidekick." "I'm a Hunter." "Also, I wouldn't underestimate me at all." "I've given this guy a run for his money." He then pointed to Wolf and said "I'm one of the best of the Defender armies and I was trained in great swordsmanship." "Never underestimate me again."

 

"Whatever, "i was trained in great sword manship" dont give me that bull. I was trained in kick you ass if you come cross or underestimate me. So why dont you just shut up, cool? Because you are on my hit list right next to Space boy right there." she said as she walked out, she sat down on a stump as Wolf and Lync talked over what she said. She could see Lync was pissed off pretty badly. She didn't care at all, she wouldn't be his friend anyways or know him for long.

 

"This isn't my team, it's part of my team, the others need a rest from all the things that have happened in the past 12 hours, especially Zain..Anyway." He said, he walked into the garage and hopped in a three person war jeep with a mounted turret in the passenger's seat and a mouted turret in the back for the 3rd person. "Come on, get it." He motioned. He drove off to a city on the other side of the planet and jumped out of the car "I hate to break it to you, but uhhh..the only way to get to the Spartan II Lab now since the elevator down got destroyed is the sewers..." He said. He opened a nearby manhole "This is the nearest entrance to the lab." He said. "Ladies first." Wolf said smirking at Lora

 

Lora looked down into the sewers, she really didn't want to jump into muck, but she didn't want to look like a weak little girl in front of wolf, not again. " Ladies are stronger than men anyways." she said and jumped into sewers and hated that see did as she was wasit up in muck. Wolf and Lync came down next to her with an ungly look on their faces too. "Well it's always a good idea to blow up a elavator when we can walk in poo." lora said.

 

Wolf pulled out his AK-47 "Get your guns ready, things live down here..." He said as he slowly started moving forward. He walked down what seemed like endless tunnels of sewage with Lora and Lync right behind him. Eventually they came to an area where a faint noise could be heard "That sounds like...A waterfall..?" Wolf said. As he walked closer to the noise it got louder. He walked almost off a ledge to find the sound, he looked down and saw, a waterfall of sewage. "Great, a poowaterfall.." He said. "Well, Bottoms up!" He said, he jumped off into a large pond of sewage. He beckond Lora and Lync down.

 

"Great" thought Lora, more jumping and muck. She just hoped they lived through this, so she could shot Wolf later on. She jumped down with getting mad at how wet she was. They kept walking guns at the ready and bored as ever." Hey, did you take us down here for fun? Becasue if you did it was not funny, theres no monsters or anything down here, plus everybody know there no such thing as Sewer monsters." Lora said as she rolled her eyes.

 

"Yeah, okay." Wolf said as he shot the water, a moan was heard and a dead...thing floated to the top of the water "Whatever you say." He walked forward. "He saw somthing moving on a balcony overhead "Did you see that? It looked like a man, or somthing..Let's find our way up there." He said. He eventually found a ladder leading up to the balcony. He saw the man at a door at the far end of the balcony. "Stay here." Wolf whispered. He slowly walked up behind the man and saw him punch in a code on a keypad "15874" Wolf memorized. Then then stood straight up and pointed his gun at the man's head "Who are you?" He asked. The man didn't answer, he flung his arm back and grabbed Wolf's arm and gripped it tightly, Wolf spun him around and kneed him in the gut and threw him to the floor "Who are you and what are you doing here?!" He asked furiously. The man still didn't respond, he punched Wolf hard in the face, knocking him out. The man stood up, he raised a gun to shoot Wolf but he slipped on sewage gunk that Wolf's boots left behind, banged his head on the balcony and fell down into the sewage, dead. Wolf still layed there knocked out.

 

Lync saw what happened and started running towards Wolf. He kneeled down and tapped Wolf's head. "Wolf." 'Get up man." "WOlf." He then sighed and said "Damn." "Hes knocked out." He turned back to Lora and said "Hey." 'Hes knocked out." "We have to keep going though." He grabbed Wolf and and carried him on his back. "Lets go."

 

Lora didn't really know what to say, she looked at Wolf and just thought"he's not that tough" But she went on with her shot gun ready to fire. "Lnyc, let me be in front, you go to carry the trash, and I don't." She said as she got in front in him. She didn't see what had hurt him, but it could have killed him, so she was happy. That's when the water started to get warm, she looked at Lnyc and she saw he noticed it too, they kept going untill they heard a noise, something like a screech. "What was that noise?" lora asked, but before he could answer, a wave of water came out exposing something that Lora would see in a nightmare. She shot at it and it blew up. "What the hell is that?" she said as they stepped back.

 

Reo slowly woke up in a pile rubble. He moved his tongue in his mouth but only tasted blood and iron. He got up and held his side and coughed out another drip of blood. "Looks like a couple of ribs are broken . . . okay, just gotta move over and get emergency security . . . " Across from him he saw Hezā on the floor, completely out cold. "Hezā!" Reo called out while half limping half running to her.

Reo got down and turned her over. He almost gasped out in awe at a deep gash that was cut on her right cheek. Reo held up her head and shook her. "Hezā!!! Hezā, wake up!" Reo looked around the wreckage and started to call out, "Hello?! Anybody?! Please, I need help now!"

*Nowhere really special, you Reo, Zain and Vlad are still at the Defenders base, Wolf, Lync and Answer man's character are looking for the ruins of the Spartan II lab. Thats what you get when you don't post for like 2 weeks..*

Wolf slowly started to wake up, he saw he was being carried and Lora was behind him. "What the heck happened?" He asked, he tried to move but he was being gripped tightly by Lync. He finally got free and fell down in the sewage "Ow..Errr, how long was i out?" He asked looking around

 

Will went to the ship base, getting into a fast fighter. He was going to Reach... he was going home and he needed to help Wolf and his friends. He pushed the thrusters and they shot him out of the holding area and up into the atmosphere. He then kicked in the hyperspace drive and set a course for the ruins of Reach. He was going back to the Spartan II program.

 

*huh? The ruins of Spartan II lab is under the city on the far other end of the planet the Defenders base is on. Not on an entirly different planet.*

Wolf got up. "Well that doesn't matter now, i think we're near the lab." He said. He walked through shallow ankle deep sewage and up to a rusty door that had scorch marks on it "How are we going to open this thing?" He asked. He looked around and found a keypad, he typed in the code that he saw before being typed in on the keypad awhile back.

 

>Umm well... I thought we agreed that it was on a different planet? Oh well<
Will's memory flashed and he felt himself turning the ship around. The Spartan II training ground had been on Reach but the actual place where they were built was on the same planet as the defender base. "Right under my nose the whole time..." He growled, landing the ship in the hanger of the defender's base. He grabbed all his guns and started on a transport vehicle known to the spartans as a mongoose.

Wolf opened the door and walked in, he saw the rusted machines, the scorch marks from the explotion, the blood that stained the wall "This place brings back painful memories..." He said looking around. "Hey, you hear that?" He asked, it sounded like Welding, working machines. .

 

Reo slowly and painfully picked up Heza and walked to the infirmary. He placed her on the closest bed and called in a medic. The medic immediately began to administer attention to her. As Reo watched, he felt helpless. "This is why I became a Hunter. If I can't protect her then what else can I do?" He winced in pain and held his side. A nurse came by to him and took over to a bed and spoke. "You need help too, sir. You've broken three ribs on your right, you need to rest."

Reo lied back and spoke with a rasped voice. "Yeah . . . but please. Make sure she gets all of the attention with the medic."

Butsuchiru looked down from a high area at the Defenders Base. He touched his hand to the back of his head and looked at his white gloved hand. "Hmph, blood . . ."
