Hunters

"Hey wolf. It's me, Zain. Kind of a mess i got out of. I got a fix on you, you ok? I got nothing on Lycn. I'm coming down." After a few minutes more, he landed in his designated slot, then took off on his speeder bike. A quarter hour later, he managed to get to wolfs location. "Long time no see. What the hell?" He had just seen the general breakdown of law and order between wolf and his team.

 

Lync watched them leave and then layed down in the cave. He was sad by what he has become. He just wants to run away and never a bother anymore. He then started whimpering as Vlad was slowly walking into teh cave. He walked all the way to Lync's spot and looked at him. Lync started whimpering as he got closer. Vlad kneeled down and petted him. He smiled and said "Its ok Lync." "I'm not going to do anything, my little foster son."

 

"Damn. That sucks man, i'm sorry." He pulled out both guns. "How are we going to deal with him?" He asked, loading in new clips. He started scanning the horizon, since he was still clueless about were Will was. He was trying to hold the entire land scape in his head, so he could use his natural sense of direction to lead him back to his bike.

 

A woman at the age of 16 walked about the D.M.C. facility without anything else to do but exercise. She went into the gym wearing nothing but some female gym shorts, sports bra, sneakers, and a pair of sparring gloves. She walked into the gym until she stopped at the punching bag. She started off with bouncing on her heels and stretches. She tied up her hair in a black ribbon and began to briskly jab at the bag. Even though jabs were meant to be light, these jabs made the bag rock all over the place . . . and she was barely hitting the bag at 10%.

Reo decided that the job was meant for people with higher experience. "I'll see you guys later, I'm going back." After Reo arrived, he changed back into his exercise clothing and went into the gym. The moment she saw the woman known as Heafuru (Hea for short), he sort of was embarrassed.

 

Heafuru pivoted her foot and unleashed an amazingly powerful back-kick. The bag doulbed in, and burst. Sand poured out from it and Heafuru put her hands on her hips and spoke. "Well, that proves it. We need stronger bags." She picked up a towel and wiped her brow. She didn't notice Reo there doing some knuckle push-ups. "Ugh . . ." she thought, "Another dude trying to show me something he thinks I give a damn about. Moron . . ."

Reon watched her as she bent down and rummaged around in a bin some equipment. She pulled out the heaviest accessory weights and put them on her waist, wrist, and ankles. "Jeez," Reo thought, "She's packing some serious heat."

Heafuru stood in front of a manikin dummy and continued her training. She rammed an elbow into the dummy's head, causing a fracture, then spun around with a killer back spin-kick, breaking off the head of the dummy. Heafuru took off her weights and placed them back. She looked at Reo and frowned, "Stupid . . ." she thought and lightly stormed out of the gym pushing past a random worker and into her quarters.

 

Will stood in the gym's boxing ring, watching the girl. "A challenge..." He growled, eyes tinted a dark yellow as he grinned with a wolfish air about him. His temper had kicked his animalistic side into overdrive and adrenaline was pumping into his veins freely. Before the girl hit the door he shouted. "Girl, care for a match? You may actually be a challenge!" He barked.

 

Heafuru wheeled around and frowned. "Who the hell are you?"

 

Zain shook his head. "What is happening to everyone these days?" He asked. Then he pulled out his guns, and loaded them with tranquilizer darts, just in case Will's aggression got out of hand. "Will, I suggest you listen. Otherwise you go nighty night."

 

Will grinned. " A cocky teenage boy who thinks he can knock you out!" He barked, grinning wildly. He wanted a good fight and she was the rare one who would give him a challenge. As a Spartan he never got a challenge and he relished the closeness of one.

 

Heafuru continued to look at Will and thought to herself. "Uh-huh . . . like I care." Reonarudo stepped in wielding a katana in one hand. "You should stay back," he said to her.
He put her hands on her hips and argued, "What, you think I'm some sort of dammsel in distress? I can handle myself thanks." She rummanged in her pockets and revealed a pair of silver brass kunkcles. "I'll take you down myself if I have to jerk!"

 

Vlad kept petting Lync while Lync layed his head down on Vlad's leg. Vlad smiled and said "You have great control over your form." "I'm proud." Lync looked up at him and licked his face. He then closed his eyes and put his head back on the leg as Vlad washes his face. "Yuck." "I guess I deserved that." He then laughed as Lync layed down.

 

Will grinned. "So what is it girly? Will you fight or have them all protect you?" He growled, cracking his knuckles. He then rotated his neck and cracked it loudly. He wanted a fight so bad he would do anything, even taunt a girl into doing it.

 

"Oh enough of this stupid drama." Zain brought his guns up fluidly, and shot Will with two darts. One in the butt, and another in the shoulder. Will dropped with a sigh. "I'm not a part of this group, despite what you all think. I'm a bounty hunter who picked sides in a intergalactic war. I might have trained with some of you, but I am a lone wolf, and i don't care what i have to do to get an upstart to shut his trap. Lucky i didn't shoot him with real bullets." Zain scowled, then slammed his guns into his holsters. "Now, when you all have sorted out your various squabbles and get some team work back, you can find me at my ship." He turned to leave.

 

Reonarudo heaved and lifted Will up by his legs. "Jesus, this bastard's heavy."
Heafuru snorted and spoke, "What can't handle a little weight?"
Reonarudo shrugged, "I dunno, can you?"
Heafuru slightly pushed Reo and Wolf away and lifted Will over her shoulders. Reo stared at her, "Woah."
She winked at him and grinned, "Yeah, just like that. Where are we going? I want to get this done so I can get back to my quarters mister C.O. of the Hunters."
