Hogwarts Glory Days

" So prof knows about this, well i mean....gosh i don't even know what to say."

Apollo started to worry about his sister possibly being taken by these wolves. He clinched his fist tightly as he even thought about the fact.

" It's not right, well i guess since the prof's know about it...then it's no reason for us to worry much. But don't let April go near the forest..at all ok?"

 

They spent the rest of the day together, from shop to shop they went. They ate in the pub and had butterbeers. They went to the broomshop while Apollo drooled all over the Nimbus 1700. He even drug her to the candy shop in which she had to almost pry him away from it.

" Come on babe pleassssse i just want to stay a little longer!!!"

" No now come on" she said as she had to pull his fingers from the door knob.The remainder of the night they found outfits for the upcoming dance. It took a while since Apollo was kind of picky with that sort of thing. It was at a point where Chloe even wondered if he would ever pick one.

" Hey come on i just gotta look good for the people"

he said as he changed outfit to outfit. But finally they both settled on what to get and left.

The ballroom was beautiful, white roses along the walls, golden trim with black roses and orange flowers scattered. Pumpkins and candy were decoratively placed.

The music had begun, students that didn't have a date were sitting along the sides and in the back corner stood Apollo, he looked ravishing in a white suit with black and orange pin stripes. he had on a Pumpkin mask and stood with both his hands in his pockets.

" I gotta track her down gosh...."

He scanned the room up and down looking for his date. Afterall this was a Halloween Masquerade Ball.

 

Apollo stood scanning the room up and down, everyone was now starting to couple up and find their dates. While Apollo couldn't even track his down. But before he knew it two warm hands slid around him. The warm embrace, he knew who it was.

"Boo"

He smiled and didnt turn around just yet. " Oh ho you must be one convincing Ghost cause i could not find you. The mask he wore only covered the top part of his face with two triangles for eyes while the mouth was exposed. Turning around her arms still latched onto him he looked her up and down. His face was a bit flushed as his heart was beating so quickly. She looks perfect.

" You look amazing, incredible, perfect, did i say amazing. i just...i wow i can't belive you're hear with me haha" he took her hand and spun her around slowly.

" Wow you're beautiful..."

He smiled and pulled her back in close to him.

" My dad taught me how to dance so don't worry i won't step on your pretty feet"

He reached down and laced his fingers with hers holding tight.

" Here's to a great night"

 

"hahahaha, oh man what a mess" He shook off some of the rain but they got out of the rain pretty quickly so he outfit wasnt ruined. Again they stood on the balcony where it began.

" Did you see how Arin and Porsha ran haha, wow that was something huh? " They lauged for a bit as he looked over the large balcony. " It's pretty beautiful up here, it's where we had our first kiss. Ya..ya know Chloe, i never would have expected to meet you. I mean it's crazy that we've gone to school with each other, played against each other been in the same classes and only now have we found each other. "

He picked her up and sat her on the ledge of the balcony, his arms wrapped around her for safety.

" You are so special to me ya know..i...i just feel like i mess up sometimes and i know if i fall you'll be right there. You and sis are my special girls haha"

 

He laughed lightly for a bit before looking out over the horizon.

" Well yea i can see your point, i guess i'm the same way it's just strange. I guess i can be a bit of a wildcard at times and i didnt think that i'd be the one you chose not ever in a million years. But hey, here we are tonight just you and me."

He didnt have much to say, to be honest he just wanted to be with her and her alone. When he found himself alone with Chloe he felt he could escape his responsibilities of being a captain, and training new spells and keeping up wit people he could just really for once be quiet and peaceful.

" So tell me, what do you like about me and what do you hate about me" he said wit a smile.

 

"I guess, this is going to be lame, but..." Chloe leaned forward giving him a kiss, "I just love you without any real definition of how."

" Ah geeeez you're so cute ya know"

To be honest i don't reallly know how i fell for you but if i had to pinpoint it. i think it would have to be that mature nature of yours. I feel like idk like you won't let me down that y ou're the one person that i know i can always trust. You do this cute thing and i don't know if you're aware but you get all warm and vulnerable. I like that about you.

You're smart you're independent, you're strong, you're everything i could dream of and more. Buttttttttt

" He said kissing her back. this time he held it for a few seconds before pulling away.

"You're asking me to give up my wonderful candy dear, "

He then smiled at her.

 

Things between them were getting increasingly intense. With every kiss his body grew warmer and his heart skipped faster. The loud thunder let out a shaking boom. But in that instant he found himself locked into a deep kiss with Her. This one was unlike the others however it felt stronger somehow. As she pulled away he ran his fingers through her hair.

" I love you too" he said quietly.

They had finally had this moment of peace and tranquilly at least...until.

"Oh good, I found you! Come quickly!"

Apollo looked confused but he followed Chloe as she gripped his hand tightly. He didnt know much about prefect business but he had to know what was going on. As they came to the steps there was this girl. Crying hysterically it was hard to follow her words but they got her to slow down.

As she explained what had happend her boyfriend had been taken away and in the clouds was a form of a wolf. Apollo knew Chloe was scared, she griooed down tight onto his hand. He would keep her safe no matter the cost. Muttering under his breath he began to talk to himself.

" Again...and we had no leads on the first student....i have to be careful from now on"

Professor Dumbledore started demanding students go to their common rooms. But it only made Apollo angrier

"Ravenclaw, please escort Miss. Smith safely back to her dormitory. All other prefects, makes sure everybody is escorted back to their common rooms, including somebody from Hufflepuff taking Mr. Vance back now as well.

" What no i can handle myself i'm not leaving Chloe and i have to check on my sis-

Chloe cut him off placing her finger on his mouth.

"Please stay in and cause no problems sneaking out."

She started to let go of his hand but he wouldn't.

" Take care of April please...."

He said while being pulled away by a fellow Hufflepuff he pulled away from them and walked a few paces ahead. " Get your hands off me"

Hogwarts had become less vibrant. Students either spent all their time in common rooms or rarely came out of them. Because of this the time spent between Apollo and Chloe started to become less than before.

"She is sure hot."
"Too bad she's taken."
"I could get me some of that."
"Apollo would have you petrified in a heart beat if anybody else touched her though."


Apollo came from behind them all turning slowly before shooting them a deadly stare.

" Oh uh i uh we uh we have to go!
" Yea i've got homework"

Apollo sat down next to her while staring at the group run off

" Yea i'm sure you do..."

He crossed his arms and laid on the Table next to her.

I actually came here to do some research of my own but i figured i'd find you here. Have you found anything good? any leads or answers?

 

A mischievous grin was upon his face. Though he heard what the students said. The candy shop might be a place to look for leads. Standing up he stretched loudly.

" Well hey sis" He said as he rubbed her head as usual messing up her hair. Me and Chloe are gonna head to get some sweets. Would you like anything back? i promise not to eat it this time" He laughed

" Also Chloe i have some friends that may be able to help "

Grabbing her hand he helped put some of the books away. He also waved to his little sister telling her to be safe and make sure she got back to her common room.

Apollo walked with chloe till they were outside behind the castle. There were two guys goign through a box almost like a treasure chest.

" Yo guys!" He said as they turned around with fireworks in one hand and a wand in the other.

It was Fred and George Weasley the two top clowns, sneaks and pranksters besides Apollo of course.

" Apollo, how's it goin mate? We've got some wicked pranks to show ya"

" Oh that's awesome but today i have a favor to ask"

The twins spoke in unison as they usually did.

" What would ya like from us"

" I need to borrow the map if you don't mind i have some stuff i have to check out myself. i'll bring it back once i'm finished.

Fred reached into their chest and pulled out a roll of paper. It seemed a bit old but in good shape. Fred handed it to Apollo without much worry. They were good friends and shared pranks all the time.

" Ok great guys this is perfect when i get back let's put some fireworks in Snapes potion office"

they all laughed in unison at the thought.

 

Apollo laughed for a second. Chloe had no idea about this item. Some answers weren't in books. He pointed to the map as she had pointed out it was just a blank piece of parchment paper.

' From the outside that's what it seems to be but this very map. This is the Mauraders map. So let me try to be brief and explain what it does and why it can help us.

The Marauder's Map is a document that reveals all of Hogwarts School and i do mean all. Not only does it show every classroom, every hallway, and every corner of the castle, but! it also shows every inch of the grounds, as well as all the secret passages that are hidden within its walls and the location of every person in the grounds, portrayed by feet as they move along the grounds"

. It is also capable of accurately identifying each person, and is not fooled by animagus, polyjuice potions, or invisibility charms; even the Hogwarts ghosts are not excluded we can see them too.

Pulling out his wand Apollo tapped the parchment gently.

" I solemnly swear that I am up to no good"

The map opened and revealed itself to Chloe. " Now do you see where this can get us"

He tapped it once more and recited the phrase

" Mischief managed" and the map closed itself.

 

" Alright babe it's all you then lets go"

They wasted little time getting the plan in motion. Before getting to hogsmede they went their seperate ways. Apollo looked around and found the Candy shop. " Alright time to start" he said, he knew that Chloe was ready to start her part as well.

Walking into the front door he was quickly greeted as usual by the store owner Ambrosius Flume, a rather large man.

" Mr Vance! How are you young man, have you come for more sweets!"

" You bet i have today i have a lot to pick out so maybe you can help me?

" Well mr vance you know the store very well..."

" Well with the candies i usually buy but i um. i would like to pick out some stuff for my girlfriend, my sister and some of my family before christmas."

" Well alright mr Vance lets start in the gummi section. is it true that your mother loves Gummi's?"

Flume began to rant and rave about gummi candies as Apollo wanted to keep his mind away from and off of his wife.

" Chloe i hope you're right..."
