Aya nodded, she didn't want want to think about the past anymore but the conversation brought them back. Aya remembered how her parents didn't believe the law was right. Their Aunt found out that their parents were breaking the laws and hiding Aya and Aiden and let them stay home from school to protect them from the teachers and people on the streets. She remembered that when their aunt found out, she called the police and it was her idea to give the family the worst punishment ever. The law was that their parents should be killed. But not only that, but Aiden was the one who had to kill them. At first, he resisted of course. But it was either Aiden complied to what the cops and their aunt said, or Aya would be raped to death and Aiden would have to watch.
She knew that Aiden blamed himself for not being able to find a way out of it. That the faces of their mother and father when the life faided from their eyes still haunted his memory. Aya had tried to talk to him multiple times but he wouldn't talk.
They were forced to live with their Aunt who had made Aiden kill his own parents. She was horrible to them for the rest of their lives.
She fought herself out of her memories and answered Jesse, "I don't really want to talk about it."

 

Aya nodded, "Anyway, Aiden will sober up soon and then he will appologise for himself. Its like he has a split personality when he is drunk. He kinda reminds me of my uncle when he is like this."

 

"Well," Tom smiled, "I was sliding around."

 

"They aren't that slippery. Let me show you," Tom told her, seeing that Angel was in socks. He ran a little bit, jumped, and when he landed, he slid.

 

"Well you had some advantages," Tom smiled, "Based on the way you jumped, and how much lighter you are, you were able to slide further than me." He then slid again, "But that doesn't mean that I am going to let you win."

 

"Well this puts me at a paradox now," Tom told her, "I have two choices, either go easy on you and let you win, which would hurt you, or I do as best as I could and if I beat you, then I would feel bad for beating you."

 

"I could, but then again it would just cause me to be that much further away from being your knight in shining armor," Tom nodded. He then started thinking, "But then again, losing would involve a bit of a sacrifice from me, and sacrificing myself for her is part of the job description." The then spoke out loud, "Desicions desicions."

 

Amy walked out the kitchen. She ran up her room and sat on her bed. "Why did that guy say that...?" she said quietly. "I know he was drunk, but..." a tear rolled down her cheek. "It still hurts." she sighed.

 

Tom acted shocked, "Me?" He asked, pointing to himself, "What do you mean by that? I have made plenty desicions." But then he started to think, "Of course, it depends on what she means. If she means desicions about us, well then I suppose she is right."
